Although I'm suspicious about her sub growth, two of recent videos are doing well on the channel. One has nearly 60k views which is kind of high compared to her other videos. Perhaps the new subscribers are real. I hope. Genuine growth is much more respectable than fake progress.

Chase quit his job? I don't know how I feel about that. Maybe he's taking a break to help Ashley grow the channel, but I don't think he should leave his field indefinitely.

Now that I see how well that video did, I'll take back what I said about her buying subscribers. I hope I'm not jumping the gun, but those new subscribers are subscribing due to that video. Good for her and the channel. So her reaching 100k is highly likely completley genuine. I was very skeptical about that, but it's good to see her channel authentically growing

I still think she’s buying subscribers now. There is no reason for her channel to have picked up so many new ones in a such a short amount of time. She’s hasn’t done anything different to draw more people in.

Yes, chase quit his job. She answered it in her comment section on the vlog channel, but then back peddled a bit when another commenter asked. If you know their last name look it up and put Oklahoma in. It says he is a social media influencer on YouTube and Instagram.

Remember you can also buy views. Only Ashley and Chase know the truth on their sub count, but she has done enough shady things IMO that at this point I wouldn’t be surprised.

You said it perfectly. Genuine growth is more respectable and I think that is where I, personally, am at with her: I do not respect her as a person (for several reasons) to do any of this with some old fashioned hard work. She does not possess integrity. You can buy views and it isn't against YT policy to do so. There is a clear pattern with a jump in number of views and most aren't even subtle.
Clearly Chase didn't need to leave his job to help her channel grow. He could have bought the subs and views while he was at work.

It doesn't make sense why he'd quit his stable job to be a social media influencer at this stage. It's too early. Even if she had 500k+ subscribers and tons of sponsors, it would still be a risk. I don't get it. Maybe he enjoys YouTube work more and wants to try it out for now. Can't wrap my mind around it. Perhaps they have big sponsors coming in and he's in control of negotiations, taxes, and accounts.

People may be watching to hear her mispronunciation trainwrecks. In her latest Instagram story she pronounced boutique as "bowtique." I wish she'd be a better influence on her viewers as far as pronunciations go--she calls herself an influencer anyway. It's boo-tique.

She also says "row teen" instead of routine. "Garad sell" instead of garage sale. Ugh I think she is trying to pronounce some words 'fancier' or trying to speak in a voice that makes her seem rich or something, but she sounds ridiculous.

I have been thinking it’s possible that Chase was fired from his job at the bank. I think he probably heavily moderated her YouTube and Instagram comments EVERN WHY (even while) he was at work. He may have gotten caught or there was a significant decline in his productivity which lead to his dismissal. This is, of course, only a theory on my part.

He seemed the most level headed out of the two of them regarding money when Ashley first started YouTube. EVERN if she is making more money than him and can now fully support her family and lifestyle, he should’ve continued to work until they were at least able to pay off their mortgage and had saved a set amount as a cushion. He could possibly need to find another job beyond “influencer” at some point and that cushion could allow them the benefit of still being able to pay the bills until he gets another job.

You are correct, Chase worked at a bank in college—which may have been the branch they went to when they sold their other vehicle. But, he most recently held a position with a different bank until Nov 2019. This is on his LinkedIn page. Plus, I think they have mentioned his line of work in other videos. I did not watch the video you referred to.

There are a lot of other well known channels that make rounds even to the smaller channels to put in a good word so I'm curious if she shows the same consideration or kindness.

Chase's Linkedn is evidence that he doesn't hold down jobs long. He has several jobs listed and only worked 2-3 years at each of them. The longest one was 6 years. So he's a frequent flier. Wonder how long YT will last?

Mostly no. She linked to Brittani Boren Leach recently and I think she has in the past with a few collabs. She rarely collabs though.
