Oooookay, I see now. They uploaded a video. What a complete cluster fuck. I am only 10 min into it and I had to stop to come here. The theme of the entire video so far is "we have no idea what the fuck we are doing." I can't believe they traveled somewhere so far away in a whole different culture and didn't even research things. That's dangerous and borderline endangerment of those kids. These guys, omg...I just shake my head now. They are seriously lucky that nothing major has happened to them.

For as tired as Meggers claimed she was I see she wasn't too tired to put on flashy bright lipstick and all of her flashy big earrings, rings, and necklace.

Also, it was so irritating to hear her say " we are on the other side of the world." um. No, no you are not. Your golden child is on the other side of the world, you are south.

It's all about her!!!!!! Maybe the kids are so inquisitive and touchy feely because they are scared and feel out of their element. This woman is disgusting. She couldn't care less about how any one of her children are feeling being in an unknown place. It's just her whining about being bothered by her kids. I see this whole trip as a complete fail. What a mess! How many times did mike say “I didn’t really research...”? Don’t they have google translate on their phones? Wasn’t one of the things they were warned about was flashy rings, watches, jewelry? There’s Megan with her Apple Watch, big gold hoops and gold necklace.

In one of the IG stories she said that Daniel wasn’t with them, he stayed down below since he wasn’t feeling well. Of course, she had to make that point, also zooming in on Eve and how hard it is with her. I bet it’s hard for pearl, but she’s less vocal.

They really aren’t world travelers. They hated France because of the language. Everywhere else they’ve gone, they’ve had people who speak English.

The thing about the children touching her... Do you reckon she lets the kids be affectionate towards her at home? Her and Mike have never seemed like the warm type to me. Most children need that though. My family hugs each other all the time and I think that's good for our relationship. It's a way to show you love someone. I'm sad if the kids don't get that from Mike and Megan.

Before the trip, it was constantly “This is what Mike does! He loves to plan and research! We will have an amazing time because he researched everything!”

He has said “I didn’t really research this,” at least 5 times in the first day.

All they did was look at pretty pictures on Instagram, check a map, and throw a fucking dart.

The kids are sick, she’s letting the kids wander around hungry because she isn’t hungry herself. She didn’t think ahead enough to pack snacks? Go to a store, grab snacks for when kids get hungry. She figured out how to buy Peter a bathing suit, though.

if someone held a gun to my head and told me that the only way for me to survive was to tell asher and peter apart, the gunman would have to kill me. also i've noticed that almost every time they do group activities, daniel is absent. i know he loves working, but i can't help but wonder if he just wants to escape the chaos. i'm so interested in what he will do once he moves out, and how that will affect their relationship with him.

I have to say I didn’t like the insinuation in the title. Peru is not dangerous... like anywhere else there is crime and theft but for goodness sake their van got broken into in NYC!! They’ve never been victims of a crime anywhere else. I hate when white Americans go somewhere else and act like this. Maybe the traffic is more intense, but “safe?” Come on.
They LOVE traveling until the country is non white and non European. They couldn’t wait to get out of Morocco, but thought it would be a good idea to get back to overseas traveling in South America...?

Anyway, they were honest which is nice. I don’t understand why they think we care so much about Mike and Megan. I wish they’d pass the camera back and let the kids talk. They are both way too controlling to let that happen for longer than 5 minutes.

I agree with all of this. As a white American I would NEVER expect people in a different culture to cater to me and the fact that I don't speak the local language like they seem to. Why is it someone else's problem if they don't understand what they are saying to them. Also as a white American, it's because of cluster-fucked, ill-prepared families like them that give everyone else traveling to their region a bad name.

None of the kids seemed excited about the trip, even on Christmas morning. They are also giving their kids screens to they don't have to deal with their whining and discontent while Meggers and Mike "ooooooohhhhh," and "ahhhhhhhhhh" at the scenery.

Have you watched her latest "story" update on how she's going nuts buying all sorts of peruvian shit because everything is speaking to her and her taste?? Wonder what the kids will be allowed to bring home. Nope. Nothing. We don't have the room kids! And remember, this is about EXPERIENCES and not THINGS, right? What a fucking joke.

They aren't even TRYING to converse and learn by immersion on this trip, it's the PERFECT time to study and learn. Nope. That is so stupid. They want to speak Spanish? Here's the chance! I went to Paris and was so excited to try to get around without speaking English. When I first got there, I wasn't doing great, but after a week, I was thinking in French. It was awesome.
And YES to them being Ugly Americans. No, not everyone speaks English. Deal with it.
And those sunglasses are atrocious. Especially with the hat and big earrings.

So far today alone, she bought a sweater, a rug, 3 pillows, and a tote bag.

She hasn’t even hit her stride yet. Make sure everyone packs everything crammed into small backpacks so Mommy can use a suitcase for her souvenirs!

Interesting how they said they wanted to film every day in Peru, good or bad, but when they finally upload it's just one long, boring video of one long, boring day. Where are all the other 'good or bad' days, Megan? I find it hard to believe sitting in a car with the occasional stop to a grocery store is the most interesting thing they could have shown from their days in Peru so far .. or maybe it is?
