She also unknowingly let the cat out of the bag with her lesson on budgeting. So now we know
1) Adam makes 60K a year
2) Her average YT / IG income is 2K a month (inline with what SocialBlade predicts)
3) The RR Discovery is only 200 a month which means it is a cheap lease gaining no equity in the car
4) 500 a month for childcare / school means she uses GG for free since pre-school takes the majority of that
5) 2K a month for the mortgage means she put very little down and has to pay the house off over 30+ years
6) If she was smart AND making good money they would have paid off their student loans a long time ago.
7) 1500+ a month in credit card bills means she has a shopping problem
8) She doesn't take TAXES into account at all - her property taxes alone are 8K a year
The way they spend wastefully, don't pay off their debts, and don't save means the **** is going to hit the fan soon!
She would be an idiot to put her actual amounts up on Youtube, and I do not think she is that stupid. She hesitated through it with the amounts so it's pretty clear those weren't her actual expenses.
Actually she is an idiot and she is that stupid.
1) According to Adam's Linkedin page, he is a Marketing Manager in Cleveland. The average salary for a Marketing Manager in Cleveland is $58K
2) SocialBlade estimates her annual internet income is between $4K and $60K. Let's be generous and give her 80%+ of that - $50K
Statsmash estimates that last month she earned $2500 and her earnings are trending DOWN. That would put her at $30K a year
Both SocialBlade and Statsmash are HIGHLY accurate at estimating YT / IG income
3) We don't know the history / year / mileage of the used RR Discovery she purchased, but she could definitely get a lease for several hundred a month
4) Childcare / school for both L & P would definitely be in the $500 monthly ballpark
5) She took out a $280K mortgage on a $320K house - A 30 year loan would be $1400 a month + $600 for property taxes = $2K a month
6) She is constantly giving in to her shopping addiction spending thousands every month using credit cards
Most of the figures she put down coincidentally apply to her.
There are a LOT of Freudian slips in her vlogs. She obviously still carries credit card debt and student loans. No one in their right mind would put away savings every month while paying high interest credit card debt. In order, you should pay off credit cards first, student loans second, and then think about savings. B & A are living WAY BEYOND their means. People screw up like this every day - they take the best month they have ever had in their lives in terms of income, and then project that future income will be at that mark or better down the road. They then spend on the high life, and when the income doesn't come in to pay for their lifestyle, they go broke.
So they are seriously considering going into further debt by buying a more expensive house, having more kids, and going on way too many $$$ vacations???
On a side note, one thing to always keep in mind when reading these boards is that anyone could be anonymously posting here under a pseudonym. Bri, Adam, Myka, Tiffani, Bri's mom, Bri's sister, Bri's friends, Adam's coworkers, ....... It makes you read each post a little differently.
