The curious case of Mike Knorpp’s rapidly aging face.

Of course she has a "collection" of watercolor paintings. And the vendor showed it to her as soon as they pulled up-- Meg, they can see you coming a mile off. They can smell your shopaholic desperation.
She looks so damn smug in that mirror selfie with all the crap she bought. She couldn't get a kid to take her picture? Or did she ditch the kids so she could shop unencumbered by anyone wanting to touch her?

This is the trainwreck we've all been expecting...lol

The first video they uploaded about being in Peru was so atrocious. Boring, miserable people with the kids bored out of their minds. No one prepared any itinerary and she didn't even realize they didn't have a "hop on/hop off" service? How embarrassing lol.

I can't believe she had the audacity to admit she gets annoyed when her kids need her. And 5 of her kids were voluntary choices. Nice. What nerve.

Oh, I saw her story about the watercolor painting. "And it was *only* 10 dollars!" Jeez what a steal. She walked right into that one. She really falls for street people's sales tactics?

How much longer before they get robbed? Someone could easily distract her with a rug or something while another steals her purse. Just the fact that she ignored everyone's comments warning them against any flashy jewelry, much less wearing a wedding ring, and she's out there wearing her gaudy accessories.

Could poor Eve look any more MISERABLE in ANY of the pics? She's typically ALL SMILES and joy....I haven't seen one smile in pics on this trip.

Also adding....their stupid dream board at home shows that they have a goal of being bi-lingual. They aren't even TRYING to converse and learn by immersion on this trip, it's the PERFECT time to study and learn. Nope. Just shows how hard they work towards their goals, kinda like the kids education. They are LAZY. It's pretty shocking that they have "made it" this far in life.

It breaks my heart that almost 50% of their family is Chinese American, yet they have made almost NO effort to learn the language or the culture. She goes through these phases of learning a second language-- first it was French (which they gave up before they could even learn 10 words) and now it's Spanish but not the language of more than half of your kids???

I have definitely changed my travel plans as I've gone, but never did I think it would be a good idea to plan two 10-hour driving days with my 8 kids in a van. WHAT THE FUCK. I don't get how these guys ever travelled anywhere even in the RV around the US based on how they're doing.

Also buuuuulllshit on Mike planning so much in every vlog before this they seemed to just be making it up as they went or ~wandering~. Like sure he planned the cities but didn't plan what to do in any of those cities and had no idea what there was anywhere alone the way.

This latest vlog was so stressful! It really felt like Mike was going to be doing ALL of the driving this trip? I can’t imagine planning a 2000 mile road trip where one grown adult would be doing zero driving.

That was basically all of their time in the RV and I'm pretty sure he was the only one who drove their whole time in Europe as well .. Meggers can't drive on those scary roads going the 'wrong way' , the only compliment she ever seems to give him is about how he can drive. But yeah, i agree, can't believe he drove the whole time even on long stretches of road, surely taking one empty road for miles can't be much different from driving in North Carolina...

At least with the RV (from what I can remember) they stopped way more frequently because they were doing it slowly and had zero schedule so they didn't need to worry about taking longer one day or adding another stop.

Also it just occurred to me but when she says they aren't city people and they like the jungle and nature I was like uh okay Megs live in your fantasy but what its really is they're homebodies that actually don't like travel which is why the RV worked because they got to drive a bit then park somewhere and pretty much just have a new backyard for the kids but all the comforts for Meggy (while the rest were shoved in the back like sardines). That's her idea of wilderness. Even when they were overseas the only parts they liked was when they just lived in a house and occasionally went out into town.

So, lets take an EPIC road trip thru Peru!!!!( Book a van and rooms throughout planned path.)

*HITS MAJOR DANGEROUS TRAFFIC*
So, lets just try to make it out of Lima alive.

*EVERYONE IS TIRED AND MISERABLE SHUFFLING FROM PLACE TO PLACE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE*
So, lets forgo the second half of the trip and go slower and stay in places longer.

*REALIZES THE REALITY OF ALTITUDE SICKNESS AND PEPPERMINT OILS ACTUALLY HAVE LIMITATIONS OF EFFECTIVENESS*
So, lets not go so high.

*EXPERIENCES CRAZY LOOPY HIGH ALTITUDE ROADS AND SUDDENLY REALIZING THEY WILL HAVE TO DRIVE BACK THRU THEM TO GET BACK TO WHERE THEY LEAVE THE COUNTRY FROM*
So, lets NOT road trip thru Peru, it was an epically horrible idea. We don't recommend road tripping thru Peru, ever.

Thought it was funny how Mike was so over it and telling it like it really was but crazy Megan kept trying to make it all sound wonderful.

Megan blaming “hard travel” on Eve was so uncalled for. Not only did those kids have altitude sickness but I’m sure they were also hungry from an orange, bread and water lunch. These are supposed to be such experienced travelers yet they don’t seem to plan on meals. Stop at a store and buy supplies to have in the car in case there isn’t any place. So stupid.

No kidding. Cerebral edema, anyone? Pulmonary edema? I actually know someone who died of altitude sickness climbing Denali. Granted, they were at even higher altitudes, but still. It _can_ be very serious.
Willful ignorance makes me so angry. It's not as though they have no resources. They earn a living on the internet ffs.
