Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
Well her latest IG pic addresses why she was smiling when she gave blood and then if you go to her IG story, you see her 2 yr old riding a scooter w/o a helmet and he already had fallen. CYA, Brittani, with the smiling pic.

Thank you for linking this article. For anyone really wanting to understand what true SIDS is read this please. A baby that suffers from SIDS will be found dead, no resuscitation will work. Nothing will change the outcome. I understand that people want to give Brit the benefit of doubt. I get it. But with her saying to 1 person it was SIDS is not genuine. If it was SIDS, Crew could of never been resuscitated and put on life support to harvest his organs. As medically sounding as it is, it’s the truth.Myfirsttimeout wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 3:53 pm https://www.jems.com/2008/01/31/sids-em ... uld-we-do/

Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
The article states: "Although 5% of infants had a return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), none ultimately survived." Yes, I know it's only 5%, but it is possible that Crew was in that 5%. I didn't watch Brittni and Jeff's video, but I believe someone here said that his heart wasn't actually restarted until he was at the hospital...and the article linked above states that resuscitation is futile if it's SIDS...so if the paramedics decided to attempt resuscitation, it's possible they believed it wasn't SIDS. Or maybe those paramedics were trained to attempt resuscitation no matter what. I don't think this is something we can suss out, it's just going to be speculation.Momma2three wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 6:07 pmThank you for linking this article. This is probably exactly what happened to (who's)crew.Connell1992 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 2:33 pm WTF is up with her skipping the helmets?? Yes, thank you so much for linking this article. It clears up alot of the questions I had, and it would really help others with their questions regarding SIDS. Thank you!

Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
I think even in the medical community, they define SIDS differently. Otherwise there wouldn't be campaigns for "To reduce the risk of SIDS, avoid bedding, pillows, stuffed animals before the age of 1," etc. So it's not that it's not genuine, it's just that it's she would choose adopt the side of people who define SIDS as including unsafe sleep causes, because it's easier to say to say your baby died of SIDS than suffocating (if that is what it is). I think it took other loss parents like Bode Miller and his wife, and the Grangers a little while to talk about drowning as openly as they do now. They also weren't neurotically posting online as much as her either though.Momma2three wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 6:07 pmThank you for linking this article. Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
Let’s all agree that she knows she put her baby in an unsafe sleeping environment that caused him to suffocate/asphyxiate. Sids debate aside—- as we know it’s an umbrella for a lot of things. She’s going to use the sids talk because it was gently tucked under that umbrella so she doesn’t have to claim responsibility.

Someone posted this on her Facebook and it broke my heart: "Please please please use your platform to teach others on safe sleep. We lost our son at 7 weeks because of it too and I only wish I had your platform to educate new parents. Please please please do the same. Please don’t gloss over all of it."law1117 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 12:27 pm Let’s all agree that she knows she put her baby in an unsafe sleeping environment that caused him to suffocate/asphyxiate. It breaks my heart for this mom and any parent who has made a critical, preventable mistake that cost their child's life. Depending on what happened, I almost imagine something like the Halo sleep sacks "Back is best" branding doing something in a cross-partnership with them like "Crib is best."
Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
And while your at it be sure to buy the Crew Love sweat shirts and a crewscrew bracelet to match which I am sure she is getting a cut of the profits. The whole situation is just heartbreaking. The merch is over the top and extremely NOT necessary. You make merch for a cause.. something that you can change... no matter how many bracelets or tumblers or T-shirt’s she sells it will not bring back her little baby. It makes me ill because babies die of things that their parents have no control over (disease, etc), and those are the true tragedies. She’s romanticizing this to avoid talking about the truth.

I believe when Myka Stauffer put together those Crews Crew sweatshirts she said ALL proceeds will go to Brit, and now swipe up for these bracelets bc why nottttttt. She’s getting a percentage of those too.boosmommy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 12:54 pmAnd while your at it be sure to buy the Crew Love sweat shirts and a crewscrew bracelet to match which I am sure she is getting a cut of the profits. I seriously sound like a broken record BUT WHEN DOES THE CHARITY STOP AND TAKING RESPONSIBILITY START. I stg these followers of hers will end up buying this new house. We have officially entered the twilight zone.
SIDS debate aside, if we assume she did in fact lay him down in unsafe sleeping conditions then why on earth does she deserve all this money? I really don’t understand this...at all!

Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
This is so weird to me. If a friend lost their child hell yes I’d wear the shit out of a bracelet or tee shirt in their honor!! But for like some random internet person who has no idea who I am? So awkward. I picture someone asking “oh what’s your bracelet about?”law1117 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 1:05 pmboosmommy wrote:And while your at it be sure to buy the Crew Love sweat shirts and a crewscrew bracelet to match which I am sure she is getting a cut of the profits. “Oh some lady in Texas! I don’t know her!”
The situation is heartbreaking and I’m sad for her, no question about it. But I’d rather say a prayer / donate a monetary amount to a charity than buy some bracelet
Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
What scares me with the way she is gloating over these things is some unstable mom is going to see the attention, instant fame, the money and the gifts and think....well you know..law1117 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 1:05 pmboosmommy wrote:And while your at it be sure to buy the Crew Love sweat shirts and a crewscrew bracelet to match which I am sure she is getting a cut of the profits. Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
The merch is really rubbing me the wrong way. I get that people want to help, but like there's no cause to help because he already passed away. If my child had passed away I don't think I'd be going out wearing "Crews Crew" sweatshirts.
Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
It would be honorable if all of the merchandise was tied around a nonprofit (even of their own making) to promote safe sleep education. Maybe she will get to something like that, but right now she's so ADD grabbing every sales opportunity and as far as we can tell, the funds are going to Starbucks gift cards, Grub Hub, etc. I think it was fine in the beginning but she has acquired a LOT now, The opportunist in her needs to chill.
Re: Brittani Boren Leach: Part Three
Right. If anyone deserves money it’s all the parents keeping their babies alive and safe. She can’t even bother to put a helmet on her kid. But everyone’s just throwing their money at her.Momma2three wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 1:11 pmI believe when Myka Stauffer put together those Crews Crew sweatshirts she said ALL proceeds will go to Brit, and now swipe up for these bracelets bc why nottttttt. Yep. The merch is basically making a statement that “it’s okay I put my baby in harms way so let’s fucking shout it to all corners of the earth”.
You wouldn’t buy merch that supported/made a statement for something you didn’t believe in or was not in good taste.... so why buy merch to “show support” of unsafe sleeping conditions—- cmon it’s not about poor Crew. People who wear it are making a statement that they support what happened. And of course the money isn’t going to some non-profit that IS FOR A CAUSE... it’s lining the pockets of a mom who should’ve known better.....

From the Daily Mail website:
"YouTube star Brittani Boren Leach and her husband Jeff say the grieving over the loss of their son Crew was made worse by critics.
Critics online blasted the couple for posting pictures of the three-month-old infant's final days before donating his organs.
Leach began her posts when she announced on Instagram how Crew stopped breathing on Christmas day, was later resuscitated, but ended up brain dead.
Leach said the negative remarks that followed her decision to post images of Crew did not matter. 'However, they have made it more difficult for me to grieve'.
She made her remarks in a YouTube video she posted on her channel Sunday, which could not be commented on by viewers to spare her more grief."
WAIMENT. Hold the fuck up. So...the opinions of STRANGERS, given in response to things YOU posted....have made it "DIFFICULT" for you to grieve the death of YOUR CHILD.
WHAT. THE. HELL. IS. WRONG. WITH. THIS. BITCH??

It will all unravel sooner or later. It’s classic deflection when someone feels guilt. It’s easier to accuse, in this case, the folks commenting on their pictures, to make the accused feel bad about it and try to make the accusers second guess the guilty one.
