The ig vids I’ve seen of him he is SO pitchy and all over the place. And you can barely hear him over the instruments, but I’m sure he’s strategically not on top of the mic so you can hear how vocally off he is. Also his stage presence is just plain unbearable. And then missy standing awkwardly next to Rachel Talbot when they went to the karaoke bar. She’s so out of her element.

Yeah! I was cringing watching what he considers “dancing”. I ALMOST felt bad for missy cuz drunk or not, I’m sure she was feeling pressures to do it and didn’t want to feel left out. Cuz I think the producers wife can sing as well. But missy looks so uncomfortable. Bryan and Missy posted instastories of him at the open mic night. NOBODY is watching him. Missy is yelling "Whoooo!" and there are like 3 people milling around.
It's awful.
And he is acting like he's freaking Thomas Rhett "I was born to write music". Maybe write it, but not sing it.

New theory: remember how Missy used to be so "meh" about Bryan? And she has always liked country music. He did an instastory of surprising her by taking her to a Jason Aldean concert, and he seemed impressed at how she "lost her shit".I think that's the first time I have ever seen her say she is proud of him. Maybe this latest incarnation of his "musical career" is an attempt to make Missy happy. If he's a big country star, she will finally be happy with him.

Missy is like Bryan and likes whatever she is around. She started on a country kick when she started with the horses and spending time at “the farm”. Whatever their friends like is what they like. I think this is Bryan’s last ditch effort into music because every other attempt has been a huge flop. For people who are almost 30 (or maybe already 30) they don’t have a clue who they are yet. They are so lost and right now are buying friendships and personality’s. Once the money and “fame” is gone they are gonna fall apart and have to dig deep to find their true selves. As for liking Bryan more I think it’s because he’s lost weight and is always gone at the studio “working” he’s not sitting around doing nothing in her face all the time anymore.

That's true. Don't know why I thought she liked country music before that.
Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean just posted some instastories of them doing "Let Her Cry" together. It was awesome. And then there's Bryan with his open mic night and 3 people watching him be pitchy and flat, and "dancing".
"Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett, is such a simple little song. But it's so beautiful and sweet. Songs like that require depth. Something Bryan is decidedly short on.
