He’s making money now. He probably got his first paycheck. I’m guessing they’re using their student loan money as a down payment. Some people speculated that he worked as a chiro without a license.
I think they can get approved for a house BUT it will be a terrible deal. They’re definitely a high risk. Just because you can get approved it doesn’t mean you should take the deal. At this point they’re basically making money just so they can pay off the mortgage and loans. I doubt they’ll have much left over every month.

They would be purchasing during the peak of the market. So, in 5 -7 years, when they want to sell and purchase something else, they'll be upside down in their home. But, what's tens of thousands of loss on the home when they are already in $300k with of student loan debt?

Can you imagine putting student loan money down as a down payment on a house?!? Lol.

Back when she still shared their finances I was shocked how much they took out in student loans. Like way more than what their tuition was + reasonable living cost. I was always guessing that they took out as much as possible since student loans have better rates than a traditional loan

The announcement is out along with a video. Everyone was right...they bought a house. I don’t understand how they’re affording a brand new house with CJ just starting his first real job.

The house is very ugly and plain, and they decided to go with a bigger home than what they originally planned. I guess they saved up their student loan money enough for a down payment, but how are they affording a mortgage plus bills, utilities, decorating, and student loan payments?!

It is completely beyond me how these 2 qualified for a loan of at least $275k. How can they have credit that good when he has almost $250k in student loan debt alone?! Not to mention if they have credit cards, car loans, etc. They’re going to struggle to afford that mortgage, I’m calling it now. I wonder if they’re still on government assistance?!

She spends a crazy amount on Amazon stuff and lived in $1000+/month apartment for a few years while neither of them worked yet they saved up enough money to not be in extreme debt and afford a down payment for a house?! Something’s not adding up.
