When she said “we built a house” I really thought they actually built a house. Not a house that was going on the lot no matter what. Their house is basic. It almost looks like a townhouse to me. I don’t think it was extremely expensive and she’s probably right that paying rent would be about the same. The biggest mystery to me is the down payment. First time buyers can do 3%, which is probably around $8000? Where did they get it? Years and years on food stamps and all of a sudden down payment on a house. That’s what bugs me the most. CJ said it was okay for them to be on welfare cause that’s what it is for. They clearly have some money. It’s not okay to get food assistance while saving your money for a house. That’s not how most people do it. And I kinda laughed when she said “our mortgage isn’t bad, our student loans aren’t bad”. Life costs way more money than we think. There’s always something and you end up spending more than expected. They finally have some money, so I have no doubt she’ll be shopping like crazy now.

So I'm building a house right now and I only had to put an earnest money deposit down of a few thousand for them to start the build. Once I got approved for the loan. Even at closing I only need a few thousand more or I can finance it into the house loan. BUT I am using a VA loan so I know those are a bit different. Did they perhaps get an FHA loan and that is different? I know that they've been staying with his mom and I'm sure they weren't paying anything so they could save a few thousand for the earnest money down payment.

I do find it really odd how they could get approved with CJ not having a job. I wonder if she'll still be on food stamps now? This entire thing is such a mystery. I mean she isn't making a ton off youtube or her makeup. I'm not sure if she's still doing eyelash extensions but where I live that's pretty pricey.

Ok, maybe I'm just a picky homebuyer/owner. But if the pipes are leaking, deal breaker! I'd back out. And as a buyer, you do have a lot of freedom to back out before you close. Ok, maybe you'll lose a couple hundred bucks.

But leaky pipes? I forsee a lot of issues happening with their house.

That's what happens when you buy a shitty house built by a garbage company.

The housing market is booming in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. Lots of people moving out of california. So there are these poorly built sub divisions being built like crazy. Almost all of them in my area are having major issues such as water leaks, sewage leaks, porches falling apart, etc.

i'm back after being away for a while... i saw the stupid countdown and knew it was house related as it's the only thing she wanted besides more babies lol... now how they got money for the house i'm super curious because it seems they spend butt ton of money like crazy on stupid unnecessary stuff...
i read all your messages and i have to kinda disagree with some of them because the home they got doesn't look bad at all (in my personal preference)... it's nothing special, just average house. I do like the open concept they have in the house and the whole house itself is very spacious so i wouldn't call it shitty appearance wise, but occurring problems that they had... i can agree on that part... it's shitty when you pay anything that is not made correct... and the whole home buying and building (and by building i mean just buying because someone else built it and the house would be built for anyone else who'd buy the house) video there is one huge thing that got on my f***king nerves... her gm chewing like a f***king cow! Bitch spit out your gum or at least chew it without mouth open. Like she walks around the house showing the house around and what she does... she just chews it and chews it and keeps chewing it with mouth open like she wants to say something but nothing comes out of her mouth other than disgusting sound of her chewing gum that she doesn't know how to chew...

Yeah, I noticed the gum chewing, too. Shes actually gotten called out in past videos for chewing gum. Because she doesnt chew it like a normal person. Mouth open.

She does it in her cookie video, too. I think she was raised without table manners and is completely oblivious to it. After all she's "tone deaf" because she supposedly doesnt recognize when shes being a bitch. Sounds like she's just lacks all social graces. Not surpGrace's. Ireland chews with her mouth wide open. I get she's a toddler, but it's a bad habit that you have to correct right away.

Also, I think their story is funny. "I wanted the house, CJ said no, so we got in a huge fight and I cried. Suddenly, CJ prayed and it was a miracle, because he decided the Lord wants us to buy the house after all!" Sounds more like she nagged the living shit out of him until he caved. Sounds like an excellent relationship.

Also notice the new house, but also all the new furniture? Couch, rug, tv stand, etc. I bet they went to rc willey (or any other furniture shop) and applied for financing.

Her plan starts at $290k, so with any upgrades, I imagine they financed upwards of $300k. It’s just hilarious to me, because I ran into her shopping at HomeGoods the day after Black Friday and remember thinking “weird, there’s like two HomeGoods between where you’re staying and here”. I should’ve suspected they’d bought then. But in her video she says she didn’t want to buy in Eastmark because they “didn’t want to be that far south from CJs work” and she’s literally 5 minutes from Eastmark. It’s the neighborhood all the young families want to be in, but it’s very pricey for what you’re getting and even their lowest plans are beyond her budget. I agree their house isn’t terrible. I don’t like it from the outside, but inside it looks like a normal starter home. These houses are so cheaply build tho! She doesn’t know what building a house means. I guarantee they weren’t able to customize or have any say in anything.

And yeah, they finally have some money and they’ll have terrible time managing them. Years on food stamps and now new everything.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the house. The outside of it isn't my style but that's neither here no there.

They now have a white couch. White. With two kids. Leather or not it always baffles me when people with small kids get white couches. I have a pre-teen and I'd never think about getting white furniture that wasn't wipeable.

The Maricopa County Recorders website will have their recorded docs for the house, including any co-signers info, what they paid etc. That is all public info, however it sometimes takes a few weeks for it to show up after closing.
