We don’t have basements here in californa because it is cheaper and safer because of quakes to build at ground level. We don’t have to worry about the foundation being bellow the frost point or keeping water pipes warm in the winter so they are very rare here. I grew up in a cold weather state so when I moved here it was very odd to me. I do however have an attic.

This is excess and waste at its best. Why are they building a new house in an already densely populated area when there are already standing houses with 6-8 bedrooms ready for purchase in that same area?

I'm in the market looking at houses to buy in Sacramento and I can't imagine they're getting a good deal on new construction, I mean just look at how small their plot of land is. I would never want to be smashed in with my next door neighbors, all those kids and cats. Ugh.

I'm going to call it that they'll stay for 5 years or less then head to Nevada because it's cheaper cost of living. At this point they're bleeding money so maybe they'll get stuck in elk Grove. I just can't figure out why they don't move closer to Chris's sons.

Deviated septum? Jessss, save your money and go hire a therapist for yourself. Excessive surgeries and shopping/vacation splurges aren't going to fill the void within. Yikes.

This is pretty normal of a ice cream truck where I live (southern California, hours from Jessss). As much as I dislike Jessssss, I think you all are reaching a bit over the whole ice cream truck thing

They can literally reach out their window and shake hands with their neighbors. “Here’s our yard, we actually have a decent sized side yard.” No you don’t, Jess. It’s half of what you have now, which is already small. The new “side yard” looks like a sidewalk. All that money, damn I would be dropping a gorgeous house on 2 acres with grass for my kids to run free lol. Like Chelsea & Cole from TM2.

I agree. My kids live around there and for that price they could have found a nice, roomy “ranch house” on about an acre. (I look into moving there occasionally.) Property like that would leave for the kids to make hills for bikes, room for the RV, no neighbors right next door, etc. Not new though. IMO Jess just wants a brand-new house with all the new, pretty stuff inside. Her old neighborhood was just fine. Crime has no address, Jesss.
