Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
Of course the comments that she doesn't agree with, that make her feel insecure or like a truly awful parent are deleted because she knows that there is some truth to them. She claims that they now want to show both the good and the bad regardless of what we the people think and say but never takes anything we say as constructive or looks at how she does things from an outsiders point of view nor takes advice to fix any problem. That would make her look weak and as a failure in her eyes. As far as she is concerned there is no problem and that is the problem!!! Everything has to be picture perfect to her. It's her disgusting need to deceive the audience and fake that everything they do is the only way and the correct way it's done eventhough we all know that isn't "Real". It's okay to ask for help or admit you are having trouble with something and seek assistance. I truly believe that she is incapable of accepting that she/ they aren't always right and that is the biggest problem. It's okay to not be perfect 24/7 it just means you are human!!!

I commented on one of her Instagram posts showing Eve saying words pretty good. I said why doesn’t she speak this good on the vlogs? I asked why Eve doesn’t speak but “da” on the vlogs? Well she didn’t like what I said so she blocked and deleted me.

And if you really do read this Mrs and Mr Knorpp please stop putting your own needs and wants first and make your children, their health and their education your first and only priority while they are in your care. That should have been an obvious given. Stop infantilizing the kids (Thought Jude was 4-5 and Eve 7) and give them the tools that they need to eventually live their own lives to the fullest, stand on their own and be their absolute best. That IN MY OPINION is far greater a reward as a parent to see you kids succeed and thrive then all the trips you could ever take. And please stop talking to Eve like she is the family dog "come on girl", "keep walking girl" "girl, girl, girl". Give her the same respect you would want if you were in her shoes.
Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
Oh this shopping video....
They can't be bothered by the kids while they want to self indulge and fully immerse themselves in the market trinket shops. These places they went are no different then the mexican equivalent of straw markets where it's a bunch of imported junk. Megan is an idiot. That woman didn't MAKE those rugs and MAKE those bags. She cut pieces and sewed them together...I really think she actually thought that woman like weaved the fibers and used a loom to physically MAKE those rugs. Where is the eye roll emoji when you need one?
How can she be a world traveler and not know to haggle prices in places like that. Good lord.
I think my favorite part so far was the "Haul" part. "For those of you that don't know I collect nativities, christmas ornaments, rainbow llamas, shiny things, watercolor paintings that speak to me, books that look pretty (never mind what's inside that book---irrelevant, if the cover is pretty...good enough for me!) advents, creepy dolls, brass animals, children from China, used essential oil bottles, any freaking thing from hobby lobby, midcentury furniture that i overpay for, special needs kids that I like to show off and not actually take care of, pom pom earrings, mood rings, fluffy blankets, pillows, brothel velvet couches, suspenders, and ALL THE THINGS from ALL THE PLACES I go."
Did anyone catch the quote..."I ALWAYS DREAMED THAT I WOULD FILL MY HOUSE WITH THINGS from all the places I have been..." That's her mantra. "ALL THE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I might have an unpopular opinion here, and I appreciate the workmanship that can go into some of the items in these shops she goes to....but hardly ANY of the shit she bought I would consider "beautiful." And EVERYTHING WAS TOTALLY BEAUTIFUL. It got annoying, quickly. "it's super beautiful..." "it was ONLY $10!" Man, Cusco would become a first world city one family like the Knorpps visited every day. They spent more in that town then most make in a year in that town.
Why do I feel like Megan took more time, thought, and mental processing to go thru and select her purchases in Cusco then she did with deciding to adopt all the kids?

It would be hilarious if the stuff she bought said “Made in the USA”!

Meg's huffing and puffing while choosing the pillow cases, she was literally having a panic attack over all the 'rainbow colors' enveloping her.

Going to school daily would be the absolute best for Eve (and all the kids IMO but especially Eve) but I have to say even going most of the time and then taking long breaks like 3 weeks off to go to Peru would be fine for Eve. I'm a teacher and I would drive me nuts to get her and and out of routine but its not the same as for the other kids who would be missing tests, and exams, and content where they'd have to catch up. She'd be on an individual plan and her goals would be personalized so even if she met them at a bit of a different pace it would be alright.
But public schools are evil and suck joy out of children, we all know that.

Holy crap I just watched the shopping haul vlog. I've definitely bought a few souvenirs that I know are made to look authentic or bought things while I'm being taken on tours to shops where I know its all to get tourists to drop money but I'm like hey am still supporting a local by buying it and I'll always remember where I got it. Like I'm fully aware of what's going on. Meggy is on a whole other level. I also really really don't know how they're going to get it all home.

Lol! It was kind of humorous, but then I considered all the time she put into that montage to specifically search out good clips of her in that hideous looking hat. How could she not tell that it wasn't the same floppy hat on Target.com? They aren't even shaped the same.
I legit thought someone had died!
Edit: I wonder if she is offering a reward.

He is uptight, unpleasant, snide and clearly unable to plan or organise anything. I am beginning to think he very possibly has an unpleasant side that we don’t really get to see often.
I actually feel so embarrassed for Megan and Mike. They really believe they are world class travellers. In reality, they don’t have a clue. Megan waxes lyrical about the history of the sites etc she visits but she’s only just reciting what she read on Wikipedia or somewhere similar. It’s painful to watch.

How has Megan 'always dreamed of filling her home with all the things from her travels' when a couple years ago she had always dreamed of travelling full time and just enjoying the trip/places in a minimal lifestyle. I know she's insane but like ... this haul is completely insane. She needs SIX pillow cases to remember one market from Peru?? At this rate she'll have over 100 pillows in a year

Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
I just can’t with the latest vlog!
She accuses the Uber driver of stealing her phone - after she appears to have left it in the car. When he doesn’t answer her calls they track her phone and go to his home where the car is parked. A woman speaks to them and sends the man out who then returns the phone.
However, Megan is so rude and insists he stole it! There is absolutely no proof that he did. He didn’t physically take it from her and he gave it straight back.
She showed his face, car and home location on her video. That is unacceptable. If it was a genuine mistake she could cost him his job which his young family relies upon!

Megan praying for rain every night to drown out that poor dog tied up outside. That's rich, that's what you're going to pray to your god for? To cause suffering to a likely already abused animal? We know you brought ear plugs! Maybe use those and save your prayers for your children who are in desperate need of medical care and an education
About the phone: She did admit she left it in the car so it wasn't technically stolen. That being said when they went to the Uber driver, they had video evidence that he had taken the phone out of the car and then got back in the car and pretended it was in there the whole time, so he did technically steal it/avoid giving it back. They were right in assuming he probably didn't think they would ever be able to find him/get to where he would be and so he held onto the phone. And he would have received the calls through Uber/heard the lost sound alert. I believe she was justified in saying it was stolen, but she should have blurred out his license plate and face.
Uber is not a great company, these things happen. I left a nice jacket in a car once and the Uber driver actively avoided calls, when we finally got in touch through an actual Uber representative (days later) the driver told us there wasn't a jacket in the car and support told us too bad. Later that year one driver hacked my sister's account, charging fake rides for over 6 hours through the night. Stopped using Uber since then, they do not run background checks and they rarely hold drivers reliable. That being said, they don't pay their drivers a living wage, I can understand why people end up holding onto nice items left behind in their cars.

Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
I’m sorry but they didn’t have any proof of anything. The woman they spoke to got him to come out and he pleasantly handed the phone back.
They don’t speak Spanish and he didn’t appear to speak English to them. We only have Megan’s translation of what he said to her. He didn’t appear to be hiding the two phones in his pocket. One could easily have been a personal phone and one for Uber. There is no conclusive proof he had Megan’s phone in his pocket. Mike said he didn’t see him take the phone out of his pocket.
In any case, just because he took out if the car doesn’t mean he intended to steal it. He may have been trying to return it.
