Having a couple drinks and breastfeeding is perfectly fine. If you can find your baby, you can feed your baby. Very little alcohol goes into your milk.

She laughed about how nursing Addie when she'd drank a lot that it was enough to make her baby sleepy. Dude that's insane.
The AAP also recently changed their recommendations to wait four hours after that drink to nurse or pump because of the unknown risk to repeated exposure to alcohol but either way if you drink enough it makes your nursing baby tired you've gone too far and defending that is insane to me.
Alcohol metabolizes out of your breastmilk at the same rate it does your blood. If you drink 1 beer, it is gone in 1 hour. There is no need to wait 4 hours to pump or nurse. The AAP often over exaggerates what is actually necessary.

You can claim unsafe sleeping conditions don’t contribute to SIDS. Or bed sharing for that matter.

Also that countries that commonly bed share aren’t equipped to do or simply don’t do autopsies on infants. So you can not accurately claim that co sleeping is safe based on that. You could then argue that we can’t claim that co sleeping isn’t safe because there are no accurate numbers.

Lol. Cosleeping is actually recommended. Cosleeping is not bedsharing. Sharing a bed does not make your baby magically forget to breathe. Suffocation is not sids nor will it ever be. SIDS has no known cause.
Sharing a bed has more of a chance for the baby to get suffocated. There's so much literature on the subject. You can't do an autopsy on a dead baby to prove they 'forgot to breathe' hence why it's labeled sids.
