SO bad! Was he staring at the other chick in the photo with her on IG and forgot to look at what his wife looked like as well?

They made the kitchen white so it would be brighter and look better for filming yet their “chandelier” sucks and they had to buy a ring light lmao
And why did he keep showing the ring light? I get if he was panning around the room and it happened to be in the shot but he included it a few times like hey here’s our new kitchen and here’s my decorative ring light or something. The purpose of a ring light is to light up the subject you’re filming, not make the ring light the subject.

100% one of the kids is going to split their head open on those corners.
Also love the irony that Mindy spent a week whining about not having cupboard doors only to drag half her crap out to display it on the new shelves.
That’s hilarious! She was probably cringing when the girl asked her for white bowls and plates. She probably said “but, but, but I bought 14 white vases, can’t we use those!?”
The kitchen looks so 'Pinterest' it's crazy. I can see how it is much more Mindy's style compared to how they bought it, if she spends a lot of time in there and they have the disposable income, I'm not too upset she chose to do the remodel looking at the before/after.
I hope it was just about comfort and making the home feel more like 'them' but I have a feeling it was for better 'lighting and style' for the vlog. It looks nice, but it's a kitchen and all that white (AND light floors) is going to get incredibly dirty, especially with 4 kids. Either she just really wanted to have a white pinterest kitchen over cost of keeping it clean and tidy, or they're really thinking about selling.
Edit: that potted plant on the island counter will be gone in a week
She’ll probably slyly complain about the upkeep at some point. You’re right, that plant will be gone soon.
Just like that huge rug in the living room, we all noticed it gapping for a week or so before she finally addressed it and removed it. I think they said they just put the new one in and I give it a week before she realizes it bunches up too because carpet on carpet + heavy foot traffic of 6 people, duh.
And are they going to have to have those cabinets painted every year? They kept mentioning they had them originally painted 1 year ago and the ones around the stove were already yellowing from cooking? Do they think that won’t happen again and again? Will we have to hear her bitch about the cabinets not having doors for a week every year?

That rug only made a comeback so she could impress designer chick with the way her living room looks. But let’s be honest, most of that crap hasn’t seen the light of day in a while.

I agree, if she likes it and is comfortable in it, then she deserves to have a home she loves, but my first impression is it just looks unliveable. She has a young family and three boys, why are you putting glasses out on low shelves and a GIGANTIC plant in the middle of the island that's going to cut whoever is cooking off from anybody else who'd like to sit and chat with them.
Did anyone else notice Hazyl screaming in the background for a solid minute starting at 6:47 in the Holland's video? How those people put up with that sound for so long without doing something to stop it is beyond me. My ears were practically bleeding, and I had the option of turning the volume down.

YES!! Beyond obnoxious. If that was my child we would have put a stop to that behavior immediately.
It’s so bad out, roads are horrible, it keeps snowing, mindy witnessed an accident..... so lets go 30 min away for a tux so branden can be the center of attention at someone else’s event.
I’m guessing they didn’t get invited last minute so he had ample time to buy or order white pants like every other guy that attended.
These Hello Fresh type meal kits that they're always promoting freak me out. How do I know that the food has been sitting at the temp it needs to be at during shipping? You really don't even if they guarantee it on the box. Obviously Binghams are probably ok in the winter months if the box is on their porch for a bit but in the summer? Nuh uh.
I read a study where a lot of the items in these kits were sitting at way above 40 F when the websites claimed that they wouldn't be.
Plus who are their raw ingredient suppliers? Where is that zucchini coming from?? (Puts on tinfoil hat)
Anywho, I think if you have kids and you're paying more for hello fresh or similar to save time or whatever, please just get off your a-$$ and go to the store where things like meat that always run the risk of growing ecoli and I'm sorry to be dramatic, but ecoli can kill your child, are being kept in safely chilled refrigerators and freezers.
I know I know, I'm paranoid. Maybe they're really great and safe, but I still think those companies are all a disaster waiting to happen.
I guess they don’t expect any of the “crushes” to watch their vlogs? The neighbor girl Claire is sometimes in the vlogs so I’d guess she watches them? Now she knows she’s getting a giant Kit Kat bar.

Idk why but this vlog made me so uncomfortable. Sure, my parents would joke with me about crushes as a kid, but this is so public. Like the whole "buy this stuffed animal for her so she smells it and cuddles it at night and thinks of you"?? I know he was doing the dad joke thing, but I don't think that's something that should go on Youtube.

Well they are Mormons. In that case, Ryler will be getting married in a few years, right?
Even though he had three (!), brex’s $1 chocolate hearts were the most sensible. I can’t believe they were buying stuffed animals and huge chocolate bars for elementary crushes. Those were at least $10/each. I guess it’s evident they have that type of money to throw around these days, but I look at that as a whole meal for my family. Maybe I’m cheap though haha

I guess they gotta start exploiting their "little studs" early. There's big money in exploiting your young children and their "secret crushes" 8 Passengers and the Leroys got lots of views pairing up their 11 year olds and older kids for Valentine's.
I think it's despicable. Those kids are going to need so much therapy. Can't "date" until you're 16, but you can have a boyfriend/girlfriend if your parents can use it for views.

I find it funny we never actually see them eating the Hello Fresh meals
There was about half a second of this vlog I enjoyed Screen Shot 2020-02-08 at 20.39.48.png
My cat does the same thing, he knows he can't go on the counter or eat food off it so he just sits on the bar stool and watches
That's what I thought! But really the portion sizes- I checked Hello Fresh out and it's either 2 or 3 servings per kit. I saw maybe 3 small slices of chicken on each plate. They're growing kids!! I think it's too expensive for what you get. Go to the store and buy healthy items! Oh, that's right- Mindy doesn't like vegetables so don't feed them to the kids!! My husband will only eat canned corn or green beans but I love Brussel sprouts, broccoli, and I will make them for me. I was raised that you ate whatever was on your plate and that's how I raised my daughter.
