Anyone else see the title of today's vlog?
I'm sorry, but miss "I live in a bubble of privilege in Utah where my biggest issue is having to drive in the snow to get white tie and tails for my husband to wear to a party", is just not the person I want telling me how to "truly feel happy", especially the day after doing a "accidental Target Haul"
Bitch, please.

I always tell my daughters looks fade, but your brains and how you impact the world and those around you is what is truly important. Always be kind and always help those who need a hand up. A kind word or a smile can make someone's day. It isn't about the material things in life it's about those you love the most and their health and happiness.oregonchat89 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 10:19 amI said that girls need to be told their beautiful because we do question that, but I agree it shouldnt be in excess and it should be followed up with that their smart along with other qualities.JD386 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 8:27 amGirls don’t need to hear they are beautiful all the time. “If you’re gonna buy stuff early, remember what you bought”
I was expecting her to say she bought repeats of things? Maybe you have a shopping problem if you shop so much you don’t even remember what you bought?
I think she’s really trying to make insta stories her thing but she falls short on content so she just talks about whatever random thing she’s doing that evening.
And quit calling everything “darling” !!! These bags are darling and this outfit is just darling.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I personally think Branden and Mindy have a shopping problem. I mean they are constantly buying things and they love to show it off. What bugs me the most is she always says how she buys a bunch of stuff when she is redecorating or organizing. I'm thinking it must be nice to be able to afford that. What would be hilarious is if she loses the receipt and has to actually swallow that huge credit card bill.Pufflepup wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 4:58 am “If you’re gonna buy stuff early, remember what you bought”

So they have a gigantic tax bill and said they should think about it positively because it means they earned more than they thought. Good on them, but are they not filing quarterly? Unless they had a huge jump in income when they hit 7/800k, that seems like they’ve been irresponsible not doing their estimates correctly. Maybe they should see the accountant more often.

"Couple Goals"?? "We met in college"??
Isn't he older than her? And they completely glossed over Madi's existence.
I am getting a toothache from this...

They are 8 years apart. Mindy was only like 18 or 19 and just started college he was on his second attempt at college after going on a mission, getting married, having a baby, getting divorced and then getting arrested twice. Went back to school met mindy “fell in love” and she never finished a year of college.lmmomSD wrote:"Couple Goals"?? "We met in college"??

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I agree. Her reaction when they jokingly mentioned what it would be like if there was a new baby and she wasn’t the youngest anymore is a good examplelmmomSD wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 7:31 am I don't see the "adorable". Not slamming a child's looks, but they are always gushing over how "super cute" Hazy is. And I just don't see it. First of all, it bugs me because they act as though her main contribution to the world is decorative. They never talk about her being smart, or kind, or compassionate. And the "princess" BS bugs me too. There are _actual_ princesses who are better behaved and whose parents are bringing them up to be good people. "Princess Hazy" is being brought up to insist on having her own way and care more about looks than substance.
And the "service" is just to show off and as has been said, to get a higher level in heaven. You aren't supposed to brag about your good deeds.. You're supposed to do them in secret, so that "even your right hand doesn't know what your left hand is doing".

She’s really gonna blame ryler for not having enough rubber bands for his braces before their trip? She packs their clothes and everything else for the trip, what makes her think he’s gonna know to make sure he has enough rubber bands. Control freak doesn’t want to admit that she let this slip so she’s going to blame the kid. Nice.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
The starting message was “children struggle with priorities and timing”. Well Mindy, where does he get it from? Trip priorities in her eyes: coordinating perfect matching outfits, branding their stupid logo onto jackets for the trip, obsessing over rolling vs folding and packing cubes vs none. So me thinks since making sure your child had enough rubber bands for the trip wasn’t a priority of hers then why should he make it one? I imagine this whole rubber band ordeal will be front and center and dramatically thrown into her “packing for DW” vlog shes concocting.Pufflepup wrote:She’s really gonna blame ryler for not having enough rubber bands for his braces before their trip? Madi got into BYU and Brandon is crying like she won a Nobel peace prize, she doesn't even seem to care that she got in which makes me think she doesn't want to go there to begin with. Good Grief, is he going to cry this hard the first time she gets busted at a Keg party?

Mindy: “I can’t even tell you how many people I’ve heard that don’t get in”
Jesus. This isn’t Harvard. Or Princeton. Or anywhere noteworthy. It’s frigging BYU. Branden is beyond over the top. I wonder if Madi’s mom was in the background rolling her eyes at him. You could see her jump out of view in the beginning. I really think he overshadowed any sort of excitement Madi could have had with her mom. Her mom raised her full time. She should be the one to get to celebrate with her first. Madi should have just called Branden after the fact to tell him.

I think Madi wasn’t expecting to NOT get in like the 2 dipshits were implying could happen. I can’t imagine the requirements are too over the top for BYU.Groovynik wrote:Madi got into BYU and Brandon is crying like she won a Nobel peace prize, she doesn't even seem to care that she got in which makes me think she doesn't want to go there to begin with. Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
There acceptance rank is between 65 and 70 percent. It’s moderately difficult but not Ivy League level. Any acceptance in to any college is great. I think it’ll be funny when she doesn’t spend as much time with them as they thought she will for sure be flying home to mom a lot, everyone needs their mom.JD386 wrote:I think Madi wasn’t expecting to NOT get in like the 2 dipshits were implying could happen. Also anyone else find it weird how branden admitted to only crying at her birth? I’m sure that made mindy feel amazing.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
First time poster here, long time lurker. BYU is a 52% acceptance rate so its average. Its definitely not super difficult to get into by any means. While it's a wonderful accomplishment to get into College, Brandon and Mindy act like this is an Ivy League school

If Ryler decides not to go college, I have a feeling it'll be a video of the two of them in front of the camera crying at how they had to disown him
Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I think brandens tears were years of pent up guilt that he wasn’t around for the majority of the big things in her life. And he probably thinks of this and her being close by as his second chance.
I was happy that mindy was about to comment on her stupid hair shooting out the side of her head and he cut her off so he could keep on the subject instead of mindy switching modes and making it about her. I also think she was jealous that she’s never made branden cry like that even on their wedding day or birth of any of their children.
I’m sure it wasn’t a walk in the park for Madi to get in and get a full year scholarship on top of that. I do think she put in a lot of hard work. I remember her showing up to their Disneyland hotel in the last year with binders and books to study in downtime. I just don’t think she’s intending to move there for the purpose of being close to her family. I think she likes the school and the morman-ness of it (no matter what all our opinions are on the religion). But I have a feeling she won’t be at their house as much as they’re expecting her to be. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s at Michelle and Daniel’s house a lot though.
I also wish branden would put down the god damn camera and hug his daughter first at the airport instead of filming everyone else hugging her.
