8 Passengers: Kids pay the consequences, but Ruby Dooby-Do, why don't you
Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
She says she had zero capacity for compassion? What? At the risk of offending people of this religion I mean I don’t want to! But what the freaking hell are they teaching them since birth every Sunday if not compassion????

Truthfully, when has she shown she has compassion even now. The only time we see it, is if she has something to gain from it and it certainly is not displayed towards her children or pets.

I really found that part humorous, because, truthfully, when has she shown she has compassion even now. The only time we see it, is if she has something to gain from it and it certainly is not displayed towards her children or pets.

Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
wait... ruby made eve go without lunch?
she's SIX! that's not teaching her anything, that's literally making her suffer, my stomach would have been hurting i'd be so hungry if I had to literally go all school day without food.
I don't care what age you are, EVERYONE (Even adults) sometimes forget their lunch!
also to add: ruby forgets important things on a daily basis... what are the consequences for her???

Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
Why is it that Ruby forgets something. The leash and she laughs it off. If the kids forgot the leash they would get the wrath of Ruby upon them. She'll say they aren't responsible. Well, Ruby who's the irresponsible one now?!?!
Also, I'm still so confused why she named her tween clothing line Rubydubydoo or however it's spelled. Why not name it after her daughters who helped her develop this?!?!? I asked her that on Instagram and of course got no response. I know the answer. Their life is all about Ruby. Pitiful!
How can a mother not have compassion for her kids?!?!?! This woman makes absolutely no sense

She also did it to Russell last year, and told him to see if a friend would share their lunch with him. She refused to take lunch to him, and said it was the consequence for him losing his lunch money, I think.kates_crush wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 6:49 pm wait... ruby made eve go without lunch?

If you haven't watched it his pathetic, the teacher even called her asking to bring Eve lunch and Ruby refused, said she has to learn. Most 6 year olds are responsible for not only making their own lunch, but also being fully responsible for ensuring the lunch makes it to school with them....NOT!

Hello newbie here! I’m so glad I found this forum, I was going insane thinking I was the only one seeing how horrible of a mother Ruby is.
I was also wondering if there is a discussion board on Familia Diamond? They have quite a following but are 1000x worse, total cringe fest, completely oblivious to how stupid they look...
Anyway, I’m exited to keep up with you guys!

way to just out herself as a sociopath lolHappy+Charlie wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 11:03 amI really found that part humorous, because, truthfully, when has she shown she has compassion even now. but yeah these two posts pretty much hit the nail on the head
the part that i can't get over is everyone on this forum seems to relate to her kids more than she does - if they screw up or find something difficult we're all over here being like lol tbh i still do that and she's over there expecting them to be fully grown adults at 6yo

basic needs: food, clothes, shelter, should NEVER be part of "learning a lesson" yet ruby does it constantly!
forget your lunch? STARVE! lose a coat? FREEZE!
don't have a bookbag? BUY ONE YOURSELF!
want and need your own space?! NOPE share with a sibling who is seven years younger than you, I NEED FIVE ROOMS TO MYSELF!
this is not parenting, this is just cruel. end of story. there is no way to defend doing things like this.

I think they were brought up that way. Many times Bonnie has said certain things were too good for children - like expensive clothes and food. What mother says that? Most mothers put their children before themselves but not the Griffiths.kates_crush wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 6:40 am basic needs: food, clothes, shelter, should NEVER be part of "learning a lesson" yet ruby does it constantly!

Welcome! I don't know Familia Diamond so I can't answer that part, but I do recall the feeling of relief when I found this site and realised I wasn't the only person who was having trouble processing the stuff I was seeing from these family vloggers!Liv94 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 12:06 am Hello newbie here! I’m not a parent but I’m not understanding Ruby’s logic of she losing apart of motherhood with this moving to a new house business.
She won’t be doing the girls hair
She won’t be doing laundry. I get the older kids but the younger ones seriously woman
Now she won’t be holding Eve as much.

Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
No wonder she's already talking about the grandchildren she'll have, so much motherhood being given up lol. She really needs serious help, stressing over things that should be natural instinct of a mom. I haven't even watched yet, but can imagine the stupidness she is going to spill from her mouth. Maybe there is a Griffithshortstop wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 4:10 pm I’m not a parent but I’m not understanding Ruby’s logic of she losing apart of motherhood with this moving to a new house business.

Growing Up manual that tells them at each age what is expected....age 7 begin washing clothes, age 5 make own lunch, age 6 no more holding.

.....and the manual is not based on the child's individual needs, and their individuality, it's about Ruby, and what she wants to give up doing.
