Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
interesting how in shari's q and a video all the comments were saying how unfair it is that julie had to share a room with eve while everyone else got their own room, and then shari replied saying julie likes sharing with eve. now in ruby's new vlog they decided everyone gets their own room and julie seemed the most excited out of all the kids and even says "no more sharing with eve!!!". if she "likes sharing with eve" then why was she so happy to have her own room? also did anyone else catch shari's attitude until ruby told her that she had the biggest closet? god shari thinks she is so much better than everyone else.

This moron of a mother is still punishing her son. when will she stop? She is so full of herself. And her husband lets her get away with her behavior.
Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
I totally agree Shari’s room should be Chads’! Shari needs to go down in the small basement room to study quietly! With Eve next door in the big one with all their toys!

I knew she went through some miscarriages (which I feel awful and truly sorry for). But, what do you mean by “Golden child”. What was different about that one in particular? Am I missing something?Parktown wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 7:12 pm The boys are downstairs not because of gender but that is where Ruby tucks away anything nuisance to her and since Russell will have the dog andChad annoys her to no end tuck them away! I wish there was a higher power to clearly show her what an absolute horrendous parent she really is!
She was unlucky to miscarry that child and it is of course the worst experience for any woman but resented all the ones she did have, glorifying that one child! It is like if that one could not have her none of them would!
Julie probably got her own room because she reads here how people continuously call her out on how she treats Julie ,she has been pretending a lot when it comes to interacting with Julie lately!

This family is very very weird about gender and separating the boys and girls. Ruby is the worst mother I’ve ever witnessed (who doesn’t physically abuse her kids) and I wish so badly that some day she will realize how terrible she is and how she failed every one of her kids. Shari has one of the worst personalities of any teenager and it’s in large part her mom’s fault for letting her boss around and parent the younger kids so that Ruby doesn’t have to be a parent. Kevin is an absolute arrogant smug loser for letting his wife do all this and for being completely 100% hands off of raising his own kids, and only joining the family to ridicule one of the children, usually Russell.

Ruby is known to coach Eve into saying what she is sad about, my guess is, she tells them what they are happy about too. However, just because Ruby tells Julie she likes sharing a room with Eve, it doesn't make it so.cvntlord0606 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 10:05 pm interesting how in shari's q and a video all the comments were saying how unfair it is that julie had to share a room with eve while everyone else got their own room, and then shari replied saying julie likes sharing with eve. now in ruby's new vlog they decided everyone gets their own room and julie seemed the most excited out of all the kids and even says "no more sharing with eve!!!". if she "likes sharing with eve" then why was she so happy to have her own room? also did anyone else catch shari's attitude until ruby told her that she had the biggest closet? god shari thinks she is so much better than everyone else.

Absolutely Ruby's view, I'm hoping she reads here and sees how she is so wrong.

Thinking about it, they have a large following of teens, don't they? With many of them saying they wish Ruby was their mother and how wonderful she is, makes it very sad realizing they must have it worse than the Franke kids. Or, they fail to see the craziness that is Ruby and only look at the fun, silly part. Nothing she has shown on vlogs makes me think she stands out from the average mom as any better, in fact, it's quite the opposite. How do these young followers not see what we see?

Did anyone notice how excited Julie was when Ruby announced they could all have their own rooms?! I think Julie has said she doesn't mind sharing a room with eve. In their old house what could've been done about it? She's such a nice girl, I'm so happy she gets her own room!

I would say I'm excited to see how each kid decorates their room, but we all know all that will be in their rooms is a single bed and a dresser.
also it's sad that julie said it's good she had a big closet because she has a lot of stuff... these kids have been conditioned to believe that anything more that a weeks worth of clothes and 5 books is too much.

I really hope that Ruby let's the kids let lose and pick out new stuff for their rooms. This is the first time they will all have a space that is just theirs. I am a firm believer that kids don't need as much stuff as society tells us but these kids "work" for their parents. They are the reason they could even afford that big house and deserve rooms that reflect their personalities.kates_crush wrote:I would say I'm excited to see how each kid decorates their room, but we all know all that will be in their rooms is a single bed and a dresser.

Ruby has no problem buying herself whatever she desires and is only a minimalist when it comes to her kids. Which is what most minimalist try not to do. I live pretty minimally but try to set an example for my kids by having less. Ruby just forces her kids to only have 1 sweater and 2 pairs of shoes. It bothers me so much how all of the Griffiths sisters let their boys go to school with holes in the jeans.

I’m confused. Didn’t Shari say she was getting her very own bathroom in the new house? Looks like the bathroom is in the hallway..won’t the other girls be using that one too?

Chad is 9th grade in Jr. High, which is 7th grade through 9th grade. Middle school is 6th through 8th grade, this is the same everywhere in the states.
Ruby is only taking this BS class and getting this certification so she can feel like if she is credentialed she can write this book and tell people how to parent. She is a joke. This is yet another way for her to inflate her head and feel like she is more than what she actually is. Ruby needs to live in her truth and stop adulating.
This is not the case everywhere in the US. In Chicagoland, 5th & 6th is middle, 7th & 8th is junior and 9-12th is high school. And also can vary from school to school in the same area.
I lived in the St. Louis area around my school years. Through 6th grade was elementary, 7th & 8th was junior and 9-12th is high school.
If you don't mind, where do you live in the States? I just found your post interesting because I've never heard of 9th grade being "junior high" here in the States. I learn something new everyday!

Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
Yes, Shari even did a whole vlog on her own channel about buying towels and shower curtains for her own bathroom. I also remember her saying a while ago that Ruby was going to give her the master upstairs (I'm guessing there is a master upstairs and a master on the first floor...Shari was going to get the master upstairs and ruby/kevin would take the master on the main floor). But then in the latest vlog, last minute, we see Ruby switch things up and Julie gets her own room and what I guess was going to be Shari's "filming room" is now Shari's bedroom. She seemed pissed about it but then cheered up when she saw how "big" her closet was. Although, I do believe her happiness was for the camera.
OR, I could be wrong and maybe there are 2 bathrooms upstairs and Julie/Abby/Eve have to share one and Shari gets her own. Who knows.
Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
It's great Julie got her own room. She should have had her own room from the start. Seeing them all treated (somewhat) fairly is an improvement.
But Chad should have Russell's room. He's a teen now, needs more space, and didn't care about having the smaller closet. It seemed like his mood instantly dropped after that and he was sulking.
It was also very weird how excited Ruby got when she mentioned the girl next door being Chad's age. I sensed she hopes they will date to get more content to film. For all we know Chad may have a crush (or not) on a girl at school and is keeping it a secret. I don't blame him. It's weird to set up children for romantic relationships. No wonder he's rebelling.
The new house looks bigger and more open. I think it's a better fit for them. Ruby needs to learn how to balance when to be hands-on and attentive, instead of wiping her hands of responsibility as a parent.

Re: 8 Passengers: Feeding Your Kids Leftovers and Emotions | Part 15
She had more than one miscarriage, though. So it doesn't make sense that she "glorifies" the one when she had several. I don't necessarily believe that it was God's way of telling her she's a lousy parent, although she is a lousy parent. I do think that the sheer number of miscarriages was her body telling her to slow down (disclaimer: I mean Ruby specifically-- not aimed at anyone here who may have experienced losses). Having all those miscarriages had to have been hard on her body and her psyche. Add in the poor nutrition and taking care of small children, and she had to have been exhausted all the time.Parktown wrote:The boys are downstairs not because of gender but that is where Ruby tucks away anything nuisance to her and since Russell will have the dog andChad annoys her to no end tuck them away! No worries! I figured that's what it was. We need a sarcasm font, lol.SwiftlyD wrote:Oh sorry I didn't catch the sarcasm my badlmmomSD wrote:Just to clarify, I was being facetious about Russell not needing his parents because he is over 6. That's Ruby's point of view, not mine!
