We travel a lot for our kids sports commitments. I dont think i ever pack more than one pair of pjs (since they have been toilet trained at least). I personally only wear undies to bed, my kids vary between nighties, tee/shorts type pjs down to just underwear. Id rather pack another tshirt and pair of underwear as a back up to pjs than waste space on pjs - that can only be worn to bed.
Also i don’t understand why they need new shorts/pants for every day? If something is spilt on them you can sponge them and they dry overnight. Jeans and denim items for example can be worn for days without washing in between.
I would assume where they are staying at disney would have washing facilities? Why not pop a load of washing on in the evening?
She seems to pack everything in excess. I pack light, throw in a dress or two for the girls as back up options.
Also her boys have a bazillion swimsuit options (no doubt hazy does too), why?? My son in fiji rotated two pairs of board shorts and two rash tops, I did pack 4 pairs of boardies because they are worn as shorts also... see sneaky buy and pack items that have many uses.
This is my best travel hack, take a “washing line”, suction it over the bathtub, in the bathroom, on a balcony window, etc. wet swimwear, anything that you needed to sponge - you can hang up (without pegs) to dry.
My family is the same, mom will pack one, maybe two pairs of PJs depending on the length of the trip. I just don't understand the logic behind a pair for every night.
Packing a unique outfit for every single day I can kiiiiiiind of understand. I think they probably feel like they need to wear a brand new outfit every day just for the vlog. Viewers are SO weird and will make snide comments if a kid re-wears an outfit, which is stupid because you know they're probably at home re-wearing clothes for the third day themselves.
Mindy was filming their hotel and as she was panning the camera around the lobby, Ryler steps in front of her “Whoa, they have darling boys here Ry Guy”. He turns back around, “Oh there he is”. And in an ultra creepy voice “Look at that stud”. Ultra cringeworthy. Your 11 year old son is not a stud. You are creepy AF for continually calling him a stud.

It feels like they’re on different trips with their completely different agendas. Gardners went to breakfast and then were doing special rides for creators whereas Binghams went to some welcome event for creators. I’m so confused.

He said he was excited that because he didn't get to spend near the amount of time with me that he wanted, because the courts wouldn't give him more time with me (this was 1984 and fathers didn't have the rights then that they do now) so he was thrilled he would be able to see me all of the time for four years. I did live with him by the way, because I was just as thrilled as he was to be able to be with him more often. I think that this Vlog was the most excited I've ever seen Madi I know how she feels.
That is great for you. Sad that you didn't get time with your dad and very cool that you got to be with him once the choice was yours. But did you have a stepmother who acted sweet but passive aggressively tried to undermine your relationship with your dad? Maybe I'm judging Mindy too harshly, but I see a lot of behavior from her that belies her "I love Madi SO much!" statements. I could be projecting because my kids' stepmom is all sweetness and light when others can see, but her actions don't match her words when they aren't in public.
Maybe Madi will live with them, but I have a feeling she is going to want to be on campus. She just doesn't seem into vlogging. She seemed much more relaxed with Dan and Chelle when she went to Newport Beach with them.
Now she’s yelling “Oh baby! Woo” after she made Ryler show off the $35 belt they had to buy him because his pants were falling down. So focused on rolling clothes into cubes and making sure they had their logo emblazoned onto sweatshirts and packing enough junky snacks to sink a ship plus snorkels, medicine just in case and camera equipment galore but you can’t make sure your child’s clothes actually fit? Maybe someone should recreate Mindy’s packing vlog and include all the things she was missing. Like properly fitting clothes for her children.

I believe they mentioned at some point she’d be living on campus but I think they’re hoping she comes “home” every weekend and that’s probably not gonna happen no matter how much $ mindy spends on a new bedroom for her. Mindy also seemed a lot more huggy/lovey when Michelle was around because she’s probably jealous madi and Michelle are so tight.
My thing with branden is: I get he’s excited to have potentially more time with his daughter and that’s great, however he is also the one that moved away from her. They lived in California when she was born and then he’s the one that moved back to Utah after the divorce.

Her attitude about this was gross. She would think nothing about buying a $35 super cute hair bow for Hazy, but she cops an attitude about buying her son a belt. Sorry, Mindy the Packing Queen, this is on you. You forgot to pack your son a belt, and you forgot to make sure he had enough rubber bands for his othodontia. We get it. Boy stuff is not adorable, super sweet and precious, but boys do need things too, even if they are not pink and sparkly. Focus, Luggage Lady!
Ugh their last few insta stories have featured GQS... there is pretty much nothing I want LESS than to see those four dopey blank faces staring vaguely at the camera. Really hope they can avoid them for the rest of the trip. Sorry Binghams, your vlogger besties are vile and their kids are just annoying.

Willing to bet they do some strategic editing though and don’t show them in the vlogs at all.
Of course they have to mention that she’s tired with that grumpy face but if one of the boys had the same facial expression it wouldn’t receive an explanation. And to think this was the best photo they got. I would love to see the worse ones.
She always looks miserable in group pictures. She only looks happy when she is the center of attention. Go look at their Instagram. It's a pattern with her. Even in Hawaii, in all the group shots, she looks unhappy.

I don’t follow the quads anywhere, but went to their IG to see if their Disney posts were any better than Mindy’s and I could not get over Tyson saying “alright guys” at the beginning of every other story slide. Every time they were on to a new thing “alright guys, we just finished lunch so now we are going on this ride” goes on ride, “alright guys, we just did this ride and now we are going to this ride” I had to stop clicking through it was so bad. It may have been worse than Mindy’s “just barely” !!
Also funny that Branden didn’t include a story with Tyson at the “meeting” but Tyson showed branden in his. I vaguely know about GQS drama but know some of you posting that you thought TIHWB were distancing themselves. I think it’ll be inevitable at this sort of week long event that they wouldn’t run into each other, but I agree that there will probably be strategic editing.

Well I'll put it to you this way. Yes my Dad got remarried when I was fifteen and a sophomore in High School. My Step-Mom was wonderful to all of us (we were very blessed in her and our step-father). She had two daughters of her own who are older than us. Sadly she decided to come out of the closet shortly after their fifth wedding anniversary and left my Dad. She is still however in our lives to this day and I still talk to her and her now wife. I think that Mindy does love Madi, but more as a big sister then a mother figure. She is only fifteen years older than Madi and I'm sure in a way it makes for an awkward family dynamic. I've had friends whose step-parents were like how your kids' stepmother is unfortunately but not all stepmothers and fathers are like her.
Interesting to see that they didn’t wanted to go to Animal Kingdom but were told thats on the plan. Did they really thought that they had their own sort of time for this Disney event?

And no connecting rooms? Odd configuration
The Gardners weren’t at Animal Kingdom yesterday though. I can’t quite figure out how it’s the same trip but they were doing different events it seemed like. Do they split the group among the parks?

Its the same event but it seems Disney splitted them up in different groups. the Gardners got on a VIP Tour with others and I wonder if that was also a VIP Tour in Animal Kingdom. But it seems that this year there are some more serious conference style events going on - I doubt the guys enjoying being in the meetings and her having the kids on own for a day in magic kingdom
