Especially since there were 2 realtors involved. Nick and Aaryn had Amanda's husband as their realtor helping them and the listing had another realtor (and Aaryn kept referring to the person as she when they were trying to close). I don't think it was their realators company that had the listing. So how did all of these people miss it,

If all they took out was 300k for the construction loan it definitely seems like the past owners built this house themselves to save money and possibly "flip" later. When my dad build his house in 1994 he was his own builder and has subcontractors come in and do each step. I'm guessing that's what they did but the difference is that my dad built homes for a living and they probably knew nothing. So if the electrician came in and did shoddy work there was no one to hold them accountable.

I find this to be interesting. She’s involved in a shady oil pyramid scheme and expects life to be fair??! You get what you give. She shakes people down now it’s her turn to get-got. Karma is real people.
Doesn’t the bank or mortgage company hire the inspector. If this happened somebody in the VA was paid off. My brother in law appraises houses. Doesn’t the bank who is doing the mortgage do that too.

Nobody in the VA was paid off 🙄
The mortgage bank hires the inspector. Although, you may be able to chose one if bank approved. We used the one from the bank with a VA loan. When the inspector came - we were right there next to him. We also were opening doors, windows, plugging things into outlets, turning things on, flushing toilets, my husband was doing his own inspection right next to the paid inspector.

VA LOANS DO NOT REQUIRE INSPECTORS. I am not sure why this keeps being said. Ours was required from our bank and our own desire. The VA only looks to make sure the house appraises at or above the sale of the home. Home inspections are different than home appraisals.

Nick and Arian are just 2 low IQ nitwits floating through their fake life. Of all people, I would have thought Nick would be there next to the inspector doing the same thing my husband did - who is a cyber security engineer and NOT someone who builds things or fixes stuff on homes (like Nick allegedly).

Either she is being deceitful - which would not be out of the ordinary - or their inspector was blind.

Here is a good reference so this line of discussion can be dropped. Its null and void now.

At least the girls got to go out and do something fun today because of this debacle. Seriously when was the last time Aaryn did something random & fun with them that didn't revolve around a holiday, vacation, a mall, disney, or rainforest cafe? The poor things have been cooped up for weeks now while they packed, Aaryn "worked out", and then the move.....

I honestly feel bad for them. When you purchase a home it’s exciting and now they are dealing with a ton of seriously awful stuff. They need to hire a lawyer ASAP. I’m sure they’ll be talking to one soon if they haven’t already.
Have you ever hired an attorney? I have. It’s anywhere from 400-1000$ an HOUR. Every time you speak to an attorney those minutes are billed. Text, email, phone calls, in person add em’ up=billed. Don’t even get me started on how much all the paper work in addition costs. It is so unbelievably expensive.

You have to decide which is more important. Moving on learning your lesson; fixing the problem yourself. Or tie your finances up in never ending litigation for YeArS. In the end the person can play even dirtier and all of the sudden claim bankruptcy and all that was for nothing.

Why feel sorry for grown adults that choose to be like this? Aaryn chose to be uninvolved. Maybe instead of spray tanning, nail sessions, fast food runs, and constant posting of half a$s workouts on IG; she should have instead(while her assistant watched her three children) gone to the walk through with the inspector and taken notes and asked questions. Or, hired her own inspector(done all the time where I live) and do her own inspections. 700k I’d be right there in everyone’s business being the biggest nosy beatch.lol
Lawyers cost a lot. Isn't there another sort of billing, like if they have to research anything that counts towards their time too. And you wouldn't really know if they were being ripped off.

I doubt a lawyer could do anything anyway, they went ahead with the sale. It's a done deal now right?

And the way Aaryn posts the most expensive links and people have researched and found stuff cheaper, well... that shows what kind of person she is. She is fine ripping off her fans and now she is being ripped off.
BBM...so very true. In fact, ya know those warn looking shoes she claimed were $600...........Steve Madden makes them and you can buy them on Amazon for under $100 - and other stores too. To be fair, I do not know the entire story around those shoes (I missed that story) - but going by what was said here...if she claimed to buy 600$ dirty/worn looking shoes. She lied, like you mentioned above.

If her assistant is off this week then did she go today by herself or with someone? Wondering if she talked the assistant into working some days.

Yes, unfortunately I have hired attorneys (4) to be exact. Family law is a nightmare and expensive AF. Depending on the house sale issues it might be worth it to them.

The Steve Madden ones are a different pair. Someone here posted a link to the $600 ones she bought. She wasn’t lying.

All you have to remember is the long haired cat leaving the litter box, then lounging on the counters. The hair and germs are all getting adhered by the residue of the oil diffuser. Looks pretty but nasty because of kitty.

Her whole house situation is starting to sound like fraud to me. Photos of invoices that are obviously not real? I’m guessing the previous owners didn’t count on them renovating so quickly to the extent they find everything. It’s probably lawyer time. I feel like they haven’t contacted one yet because she would probably be advised to stop mentioning anything publicly.

Not in real estate or a lawyer but does anyone know what they can do? Can they sue the previous owners, sue the inspector? Does insurance cover this type of stuff? This all blows my mind. It’s almost worst case scenario for buying a house. Worst case is going to be if the house has mold.

She said that the sellers said they took care of the issues found in the inspection, which they obviously did not. That is a huge issue, especially if they signed documents stating they did.
I actually believe her on this which would make sense that the inspector did his job but then the sellers didn't follow through. Nick and Aaryn were desperate and make dumb decisions but I don't think they would have risked electrical.

I so agree! I also agree that the sellers knew and didn't think it would get discovered so soon after the sale went through. I don't know anything about real estate laws, but is there a certain time period in which you can go back to the seller if something was supposed to be fixed, wasn't?? Say, they had discovered this a year into owning the house versus now? I feel like Aaryn was eluding to them maybe suing but she didn't want to put that out there. Yes, Aaryn and Nick should have checked to ensure the repairs were done but again, would they even know what they were looking for? An inspector should have checked to ensure the required repairs were done. I am so interested to see how this all plays out...Wonder if the sellers are shitting their pants right now!

This! Do they come to the property to care for the animals? Because I would be confronting some people. As much as it’s Aaryn and Nick’s fault for not double checking things, I get it at the same time. If she’s telling the truth about an inspector and all that, why should they question what they are told? Most people would take the word of a professional doing their job.

Yeah i don’t get why a inspector didn’t come back out and verify. How to you fake invoice of repairs. We did send over a invoice from a electrical company when we sold and had to put in a couple updated outlets. I don’t think it seems so far that nick and Aaryn did anything wrong. This does sound like fraud. Hopefully house insurance or the warranty helps pay for some it.
