I don't think Ellie was saying that SHE is a survivor of sexual abuse, but she was supporting Ruby talking to the survivor. Ellie saying "as a survivor of sexual abuse" ....meaning the person Ruby was talking about, you can not let it make you feel like a victim without your consent. At least this is the way I took it. How many times Ellie has written a post on IG and we have to read it a couple times to understand what she is saying?
I pray the she wasn't abused, you never truly get over it. But if she is a survivor, hopefully she got the help she and any survivor needs.

I don't think that's what she meant. She said "I'm sorry for what you went through from a victim of sexual abuse".
And I know it's not Ruby's thread, but her saying that victims of abuse can "just leave" proves she knows f*ck all about abuse and the dynamics of the situation.

does anyone listen to their podcast? I listened to their newest about talking with Jackson On sexual Safety. Now I’m all for talking to your kids about the safety part. Not allowing anyone to touch, telling if someone has tried to. Okay, but the “organic conversation” Ellie and Jackson just so happened to have on the couch? I have kids, my oldest is almost 8. We’ve talked about privates and she knows Where a baby comes from. But I don’t think it’s tori ally appropriate to talk about a mom ripping while having a baby????? Jackson most definitely did not just know this out of absolutely no where. And I most certainly do not believe Ellie and jered have “never” talked about wanting, and or trying to have a “baby sister”. Jackson asks for a baby sister, talks to Ellie’s belly about getting a new baby. Th ru are just weird.

This podcast made me want to gag. Jackson asking for a sister repeatedly. Ellie telling him to ask the Heavenly Father for a sister. Never once did she say to him that it's quite possible it could be another brother. Does anybody find that strange? She's for sure going to have gender selection. I had to shut it off - I couldn't stand all the preaching these two do.

Jackson is very groomed. We know Ellie has talked about tearing to him before because she was even talking about it when he was anxious to poop on the potty. He definitely didn’t bring it up then.

He knows that talking about “baby sister” pleases his mother. He just wants her to be happy with him. He did this before Tommy as well. I have no doubt that he’s bright and asks interesting questions, but Ellie still needs to realize he’s a child. You don’t tell a child more than they can handle for their age.

That’s a really toxic and manipulative home. This won’t change one bit when Ellie gets her girl.

I do not listen to their podcast. Just reading what you guys have said about questions Jackson was asking makes me sick! At 6/7 Jackson should not be even thinking about tearing, bleeding or anything about giving birth. It's obvious Jackson has heard Ellie talking to Bonnie or Jared. Maybe Ellie was watching youtube videos while Jackson was around and he overheard it, but there is no way the "old soul" knows all this on his own. For gripes sake, Ellie, let your kids enjoy their childhood. She is a sick(mentally) woman.

Yeah, I listened to that podcast and didn't believe E and J's story about not talking to Jackson!

For those that wonder where Ellie got the smelling baby's breath or pacifiers, she got it from her mom. A Couple of days ago, Jennifer was smelling Lucy's socks and talked about how she liked to smell the grandchildren's socks. She asked did people think she was weird-yep you are!

I think you are on to something. After Bonnie's kids watched all the videos about the new house and listened to their parents talk about it at home, they somehow could still be "surprised" by seeing the exact house they saw their mom cry over in the videos. All the Griffiths girls have warped realties which I can only explain if:

1. The kids have been manipulated so horribly they can't detect reality anymore
2. They family is acting every time a camera is on them so none of it is reality
3. The entire family has some sort of psychological disorder or ID preventing them from understanding reality

Don't know if this is what you're thinking of, but I remember when Jackson was potty training and didn't want to poop on the toilet, Ellie told him that she was also scared to poop (or something like that) after giving birth to Calvin. It was a very weird thing to say and only seemed to scared the poor kid more!

And I think Jared knows this. He wasn’t overreacting trying to get Penny away. Ellie was putting the bunny in a very unsafe situation. She wouldn’t have been able to save the bunny if Penny had bitten it.
