Apologies if my last post was uneducated around fetal formation.

Unfortunately, I have never seen some 'pink' or a second line. After years of TTC and now infertile, I would be doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to make my body as healthy as possible so that it was willing to create a human.

Ok, my experiences are the polar opposite to a mother who has 2 healthy children. I know you CAN get pregnant on alcohol - I have 2 amazing nieces that are 100% drunk night babies so I know it can happen (wouldn't swap them for anything). But if you're trying, I just thought you'd give up things like alcohol, especially on the regular.

I just hate watching all these you tube mums have NO IDEA how easy they have it and so have 0 gratitude for the kids they have. There is nothing wrong with TTC 'if it happens' or '100% planned for', I just thought if you're at the stage of showing off negative pee sticks to the world and expecting everyone to pray for you, you're in the category of trying your best to be healthy.

Sorry to hear about your unsuccessful ttc journey. You have NOTHING to apologize for. You are totally correct that if a couple want to have a child they should BOTH abstain from alcohol while ttc and after. It is other people who try to rationalize their own alcoholism by proclaiming that it is so unfair to have to give up drinking in the pursuit of having a child. No one NEEDS to drink and it is such a small, small sacrifice to make.

i don’t drink whilst pregnant at all. sustained alcohol consumption during pregnancy has been proven to cause FASD. it affects the developing brain. this one is a no brainer, you’d be stupid to drink whilst growing a tiny human as it’s a very small sacrifice to make and the risks just aren’t worth it.

i have to respectfully disagree with the completely stopping drinking while ttc. whilst i agree it’s probably optimal to lay off the hard liquor and abstain from epic weekend benders, the odd glass of wine with a meal is fine. you need to enjoy life too and i think if you get obsessive and start watching every single thing you’re consuming, you’ll be driven mad. that’s not “rationalizing alcoholism”, it’s maintaining a balanced and moderate approach. obviously if someone is experiencing fertility issues and has been advised otherwise, then they should follow their fertility specialist’s advice and abstain completely.

so she’s had 16 sign ups to her course. that’s a bit over $15k. hardly a sell out but she’s done ok. i’d love to see what it’s about and whether the price is justified. i wonder what she will do if there’s kick back that the course wasn’t worth the fee.

100%! Any doctor will say your chances of conception will be better if you stop drinking while TTC, especially if you have previous fertility issues but it's not like a cardinal rule that you won't get pregnant if you drink. Or, if you drink while TTC it certainly doesn't mean you're an alcoholic!

Did you see that Jen Chapin posted a video about starting a YouTube channel? She commented on Bris video saying she looked up to her but that the price was ridiculous. There are a few comments on Jen’s video talking about Brianna. I wonder if people are actually dropping $1k on that course.

So I just posted on Tiffani’s forum about her and Brianna’s friendship. I get that Bri’s kids were sick and got Tiffani’s kids sick but that’s a reason to end a friendship. I mean I might bitch about her to my husband but I wouldn’t stop talking to someone over it. Shows how weak these “friendships” are.

I actually like Brianna more than Tiffani. But all these YT moms are crazy with the holidays. She decorated for St Patrick’s Day and took it down before the holiday even got here?! Weird and wasteful.

I know it’s all wanting to be first but why? Why not separate yourself from the pack?? And as for the course , Bri is simply going to colab with them and promote their channels to make them appear successful. That’s what they are paying the 1k for

Did anyone catch in her recent video where she says she has 'pre-pneumonia'? She must mean walking pneumonia yet I'm surprised she never mentioned having to get a chest x-ray, possible sputum testing, blood test, etc., for a proper diagnosis. I would think she'd thrive on that type of attention and it'd be perfect for 'The Gram". Her physician probably listened for bronchial sounds and said we don't want this to turn into pneumonia down the road so let's nip it in the bud, so I'm guessing she ran with that.

Nope. Then the diningroom with all the Easter crap. She then promotes more drinking. This woman does not decorate well whatsoever.

Does Bri remind anyone else of Semi Homemade with Sandra Lee from the food network back in the day? All the decorating and drinking and planning are used as a way to cover up a vapid empty life? Decorating for every holiday is such a waste of time, resources, energy, everything! Wasteful consumerism.

I don’t think Sandra is that way on real life and I think she is married to a senator and has cancer or something. But her whole premise was basically fake it till you make it. Same as Bri.

Totally! That is spot on, she is so Sandra Lee. Also, maybe I'm just being extra snarky but I find it weird that she goes so over the top with the decorations, yet uses boxed cake mix (I LOL'd when she used a stand mixer with it, ridiculous!) and other basic recipes like throwing bottled sauce and pre-shredded cheese on a tortilla and calling it a pizza? I know she doesn't claim to be an accomplished home cook, but anyone can make a homemade cake. If she has all that time to decorate every inch of her house, she certainly has time to cook proper things!

I couldn’t agree more. Everyone thinks she’s so good at decorating... she’s not. It’s all tacky tacky tacky. No real art nothing sophisticated or actually nice. No thanks

it really bothers me how much she screwed up the strawberries on the dirt cake. Adding food coloring to white chocolate made it seize up and get all globby like it did. She should have thrown it out and got the colored chocolate at the craft store if she’s gonna actually try to do a good job.

Yep count me in....her spring/easter stuff is hideous this year. Same thing different crap. That dumb chalkboard with a witty phrase? Check. Random garlandy things everywhere? Check. Bajillions of useless pillows? Check. Nothing flows, its all hodgepodge and she kept throwing words around. Chic, simple, florals, traditional easter, pastels. Yeah none of that made any sense, none of the florals even went together. Some areas were super overcrowded. Where in the fall she shoves a pumpkin in every crevice, now she has shoved a bunny in every nook and cranny.

Couldnt get thru even 1/3 of that video. No flipping clue why she would try to tack on recipe and craft shit at the end. Super dont care.

The decor was my last thread i was hanging on by....now im not interested unless she self destructs or gets some serious help.

I cant click on her IG anymore either. Its a million slides of chaos. Nope. No. Just no. Thats what private messaging is for.

we cook food in batches so on work/daycare days (and even on days when i’m home lol), we can minimize cooking during the week. cooking every day is overrated and inefficient.

also, if she knew she had the phone call 4-5pm, why not throw a crock pot meal on at 8am and by 5pm dinner would be done.

Sorry but if you NEED a glass of wine to enjoy life, you have a PROBLEM. You are rationalizing your alcoholic lifestyle. I have seen the same attitude with dozens of friends, family, and acquaintances who ruined their health and relationships trying to glam alcohol and find excuses to drink it. Anyone who needs alcohol to "have fun and enjoy life" has a BIG PROBLEM that will catch up with them down the road. Seek help if you have a drinking problem before it is too late. There is nothing wrong with a beer or glass of wine if it is on the menu on rare occasions, but it shouldn't bother anyone to completely do without it.
