Kattiness Everdeen wrote:You haven't noticed that all these children appear to be emotionally stunted?

1. The one about to get married likes to collect bugs in the backyard and throw them at his mother/sisters.

2. The 18 yr old wore My Little Pony head to toe when she was 13, and cries every time she sees a Disney princess because it is her only dream in life.

3. The one turning 13 this year, asked for a baby doll that wets itself for her last birthday, and her main hobby is playing with Barbie/LPS (as you noted).

4. The youngest is 5 and still craps in diapers, stores scissors in his pants, and has violent tantrums because he can't communicate his thoughts/emotions.

Does it really seem strange that the perpetually ignored middle child would cry over being left out, when the kids who actually receive attention are so stunted?

Lizzie had to cry her eyes out just get her parents to celebrate her 10th birthday. When she was younger she cried because she was scared when her parents made her sleep in a room alone while Savannah slept with the boys. Crying seems to be the only way to be noticed. The parents put unbelievable responsibility on these kids to cook/clean/raise their siblings/etc. Maybe we are seeing their coping strategies. Neglect and/or mistreatment can really screw with your development. I know I am going to cheer every ounce of comfort they can squeeze out from anyone with a bit of empathy that comes into their orbit. It might just lessen the damage done by the selfish parents they have been burdened with.
Couldn’t have said it better myself!
One thing to add, look at Daniell; she’s either always getting yelled or given back handed compliments to the point where she doesn’t know how to respond, doesn’t believe her father regarding a gas leak, Az calls over Johnny to show him that bullying isn’t nice. Most of the Youtube Mormon kids have emotional control and issues expressing themselves.

ThisIsMeCeej wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:25 pm Going back to topic :P On IG I saw that Daniell had her wisdom teeth removed... so, I guess we'll be seeing a vlog about all the funny things she said and did when she had them removed. I'm just wondering, is it a typical thing to give everyone laughing gas, when they have their wisdom teeth removed? When I had mine out, I couldn't have it, because of my allergies... so, all I got was the numbing shots... and I was shaking so bad, the nurse had to lay on top of me to get me to sit still, I was so nervous. :P I didn't feel a thing, I didn't even realize the dentist had even removed them... so, other than for nerves, why give laughing gas? Just wondering if anyone knows?

Also, I wonder when Allie is going to hear back from Disney? From how it sounds... she sent in an application for that work program, not just to be a Disney Princess. I forget what it's called... but, if she did sign up for it, she would be placed anywhere they needed her, and might not get her dream of being a Princess... It's a hard competition for those spots, and even harder if you apply for that work program, from what I've heard. You're most likely to be put into a costume like Minnie Mouse, or something else with a head. I think everyone has the right to dream... I just don't know that her dream is going to come true. And I hope she's ready for that, if it doesn't.
I didn't get laughing gas but I was put to sleep, the oral surgeon had to cut out mine because one was sideways, I wouldn't have wanted to be awake though because I have a fear of dentists.
I got LG because I was afraid of needles and IVs were expensive. It was a mistake. Mine were impacted too, and the LG and Novocain weren't very effective on me. They eventually kept excavating over my screams. I think IV sedation might be the norm now. The LG works great on a lot of people though, my sister kept falling asleep during her surgery. It is basically for nerves. I didn't feel any effect except some light headedness, but I hear it supposed to make you not care what they are doing to you.

Allie said in December they'd let her know within 6 months, but if she is requesting a performer position, I think she has to go to one of the traditional open auditions first. It has been a while since I looked this up, but it sounds like you are talking about the Disney College Program (DCP)? I thought you had to be enrolled in college....did she decide to go? I know any performer hopeful goes into the open audition with zero knowledge of the characters/roles they are casting for that day. It is extremely rare to score a role as a face character, much less a princess. If she applied for DCP, it seems most people get put behind a cash register or at the photo booth. You can put preferences, but there is no guarantee. They also cycle you in and out of roles the entire time.

I definitely don't think Allie is ready for rejection. She cries every time she meets a Disney princess. It seems that this is all she has ever wanted in life (sadly). There are also endless horror stories of characters getting felt up by horny Dads, vomit, urine....it is not an easy job, especially if you are in a heavy fur suit in the summer.
I would have kicked the dentist in the face, and blamed the laughing gas for making me do something so crazy! Dang!

That is what I was thinking of! The DCP! Thank you!! She most likely is not going to college so, that one is out. I used to want to be a Disney Princess.. then I grew up. I think it's nice Allie has a child at heart attitude BUT, she really needs to grow up mentally, a lot. I think she needs time away from her controlling dad and the rest of her family... and even if she's not a princess, working for Disney would get her in a different state. But, she's so immature mentally, I would feel like something bad would happen to her out there alone.

Oh! I always thought it was the laughing gas.. but, I couldn't have either. If I were to have an IV I had to have my wisdom teeth removed at the hospital, in case of an emergency due to allergies. And for 2 wisdom teeth (luckily I only ever will have 2) I didn't want to waste my insurance money :P

Kattiness Everdeen wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2020 9:49 pm After today's vlog I have come to the conclusion that Branson is looking for a little privacy in his life. All of Johnny's awkward intrusions at every step of the way seems to be resisted by Branson in front of the camera, not answering any questions about rings, events, dates, etc. At first I thought he was just trying to be coy or teasing upcoming events (admittedly poorly), but now I think he just refused to tell his family about the ring as they repeatedly begged him, because he doesn't want it all exploited on camera. It will be interesting to see if he starts to shut them out the second he says I do. If he has his money now as I expect, he'll have no reason to stay under the control of his tyrant father. Except for his siblings.

Also, so sad to see Lizzy crying in the corner today. I wish Mara was there to give her a hug. She didn't need to talk about it on camera Sarah, she needed a hug from her mother.
I agree! And I can't tell if I am waiting for a quick wedding, to see how it goes or a slow wedding because they seem to not know each other well...

I started crying when I heard why Lizzy was crying. Poor little girl. And Savannah just looking at her like... "OMG get over it" Like you said above about Canyon, in your spoiler... I was so glad he stepped up and went over to play with Lizzy and gave her a hug. But, I was like... wtf Sarah, HUG YOUR CRYING DAUGHTER AND GET THE CAMERA OFF HER! And why was it that a 4/5 year old and a 7/8 year old both were willing to go play with Lizzy... and Az's whole reason for switching to Savannah was so she wasn't left out, but... Savannah who is a teen or almost a teen (I can't remember all these kids ages lol sorry!) couldn't even think to go over and play with her crying sister, or invite her over to play with them? :?

Laughing gas wears off super quickly. You can even drive after taking it. All those videos of people acting goofy
after their wisdom teeth were removed are people either faking it or reacting to still having IV sedation in their systems.
Scary to have allergies like that!
Sorry for straying OT!

Wow little Johnny is happy his kids aren’t in public school. So ur happy that ur kids are now behind in school and at the age of 22(or whatever bransons age is) your one son has no real job and live with mom and dad and drive mom and dads car but are engaged. Ugh makes me so mad that he is dissing public school. Coming from a guy who never graduated high school this family is a real piece of work.

Do feel bad for that kid but dissing all public schools because of it. Um I was bullied but guess what I grew a backbone and spoke back or just ignored it. It’s going to happen in life and u cant be a little whiner about it and play the blame game and then just hide at home with ur kids because ur scared of the world.

People get bullied in private schools too. So you're supposed to hide your kids away homeschooling them and having them be socially stunted like his kids are? Obviously not all parents who homeschool are stunting their children's social development. There are families who homeschool and do an excellent job and manage to get their kids socialized. But this family isn't one of them.

Is Bransons fiancé still in high school?? She made a chain link of days left until she graduates. Is that from college or high school? Speaking of school, is Allie graduating this year?

Allie is trying to figure out who her maid of honor will be.. isn’t Kelly her best friend, or her SISTER Daniell?

I googled her name... a LinkedIn profile came up showing a biochem student at UVU. Good for her! But...why marry a guy who sits at home playing with Legos all day? Why deal with in-laws who don't value education at all? I don't get it.

Oh man do not watch today’s video is you have headphones in. Daniel is over reacting on her wisdom teeth removal aftermath. I’m sorry I never acted like that after when I had mine out and never knew anyone that did that either. I hate when youtubers overreact to try and get views. It’s not even funny with hers it’s super annoying. Won’t be surprised if she will develop pocket craters with how much she is moving the goz(sorry can’t spell it) in her mouth and not relaxing. Those melt away stitches are prolly ruined by now.

It's a good thing they have such a great job, of exploiting their kids... and spending the money they make off their kids, to go on a ride at Disney!

Please tell me I am not the only one whose incredibly disturbed regarding Canyon wiping his butt with his hand. Please tell me that is not normal!!

If Branson just took care of it right away instead of vlogging and telling everyone it would have
A. Showed Canyon that that was NOT okay.
B. He wouldn’t have gone to make sure Allie was awake to clean him up because he “needed to film with Daniell”
C. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO HAVE A CHILD?!
D. Where the hell was Johnny and Sarah?!?!

Who else thinks Johnny and Sarah are going to make a post about how homeschool is so great and the Coronavirus isn’t affecting their kids school because they joke school; but in reality EVERY child has been behind every time they’ve homeschooled. Whether it was just Daniell or the entire bunch.
Still no word on Allie graduating in two months or prom, I wonder if she will.

I’ve stopped watching this family because it is my honest opinion that there is physical and sexual abuse happening to these children behind the scenes. I will never have enough hard evidence to prove it and it’s become too hard to watch.

Canyon seems to show the most signs and, sadly, he will probably never go to a traditional school so it will never be discovered. His strange obsessions with his diaper/toilet/poop and his long term fear of sleeping alone (not to mention the mattress in the sound proof room!?) just scream warning signs and it bothers me that it’s unlikely anything will be done about it.

These kids best hope is that Branson’s soon-to-be wife notices something and has the sense to report it..

Mostly likely there will be no prom for Allie. She may even just be given a certificate and no ceremony.

Sad but true.. forced to leave her school and friends her senior year, and she doesn't even get to have all the senior perks, because of this madness. I really hope they find a cure and a vaccine very very soon!

They stopped talking about Allies school altogether. I wonder if she’ll be eligible to graduate.

Did anyone watch the video an Bransons channel? It was about who knows him better, Sarah or Mara. Mara kept complaining that she didn’t know any of the answers. Apparently when Branson was born Sarah gave him her last name, not Johnnys and when Sarah and Johnny got married she changed both of their last name to Tanner. I know that’s semi common with couples who aren’t married but it still shocked me.

I wonder if both Branson and Mara are getting married, to break free of their parents? They seem to have fun together... but, friends do too... that's not a reason to rush into marriage.

Offtopic: Does anyone know what those brown spots are, in Mara's eyes.. in the white part of them? At first I thought it was a broken blood vessel but, then I noticed it wasn't red, and in both eyes.

I forget the technical term, but it's like having a freckle on your eye, similar to how you can have a brown freckle on your skin. I had a friend in high school with the same thing. They can be cancerous in very rare cases, but otherwise are harmless like any other freckle. She probably just gets them checked out by an eye doctor occasionally to make sure they remain 'normal'. They can be removed, if needed.

It's amazing... as... I mean, Johnny, talked Allie out of invisalign.. and then he goes and gets them himself. And what does he do the whole time? Complains, complains, complains!

And the potato salad recipe... maybe others put pickles and olives in theirs.. but, I literally gagged, when he was talking about all of that. That's disgusting! And he was proud of double dipping his nasty licked finger... smh
