I think a lot of it is malingering. Ellie hates parenting and finds it hard. Jared comes home and she needs an excuse to retreat from responsibility. Eye pain and anxiety are hard to argue with. Jared can’t take better care of himself because he’s too busy taking care of Ellie and trying to make her happy. There aren’t enough beach vacations in the world to make Ellie happy, and moving to the beach won’t help either.

Pregnancy gets Ellie attention. A new baby gets Ellie attention. Trouble is, these end and eventually the child develops their own identity and the attention is on them and no longer on Ellie. What does she have then? Right. She’s tinier than most people and/or she’s sick. That’s become her “go to” for attention.

They've got to be paying out-of-pocket healthcare expenses with all of Ellie's complaints. I can't image what it's like to be Jared whose wife said to shut down their channel=income due to her health problems and now has to deal with extra expenses. I don't think this ends well and I hope he speaks up and says to Ellie no more children until you are healthy.

Seriously. Girl needs to consistently wear those glasses and eat 3 square meals a day. Wouldn't hurt for the boys to experience that either.

I'm sure the stress is making Jared's hips and stuff 10x worse. Good luck to him if he gets her knocked up again....

Oh crap. They really are stupid. The term "f*ck like rabbits" has a basis in reality.
I admit to being stupid in the past. My son wanted to have "just one litter" of hamsters. They boinked each other, they boinked their mom. It didn't matter if I separated them once I figured out what gender they were. They hooked up quickly. I ended up with 23 hamsters before I was done. And that was with stressed out mama eating a few.

Are these two in some sort of health crisis competition with eachother? The anxiety those poor kids must feel hearing their parents talk the way they do. E&J need some serious therapy. They are too young to be feeling the way they do.

I seriously hope they have good life insurance set up.
But somehow I doubt it. Trips to the beach and Bollie are more important than making sure that the kids will be taken care of. And I don't believe for a minute that Bollie will be around for Olivia to take over like Bonnie fantasizes about.

It's probably stress related. He has to worry about his hypochondriac wife and all her "issues" and support his family because his wife squashed his YouTube dreams and refuses to get out of bed to work. I would be having heart palpitations too.

At the end, they determine stress is a lot of his problem-his doctor felt like that was a lot of the problem. Yeah I imagine it is since Ellie had them back up from YT full time so that money takes a big hit. As he was saying, Bollie is heavy on his shoulders. Then Jared is talking about how Ellie needed his help during the night. A baby is the last thing this family needs. I am glad Jared did this podcast with his dad instead of Ellie because she would find a way to turn the conversation back to her!

Jared is saying that heart problems run in his Dads family. I didn't listen to his podcast, but he said he had a test done and would be discussing the results on the podcast. These two do not need more children, regardless of what Queen Ellie wants. They both look years older then they are, if not for Social Media, they would not be able to make a living to support their lifestyle and put money away for the kids education. Who knows when Jared will have the hip replacement or if he'll need meds or surgery for his heart? And through that, who knows what the heck the next Self diagnosis Ellie will come up with or how many doctors she'll need to see before she finds the doctor that will agree with her. I feel bad for the kids, Jackson in particular. Ellie keeps saying he is older in his mind than he actually is. Since Calvin was born, Jackson has had his childhood taken from him. He had to grow up fast to take care of Calvin so his mom could stay on bedrest while pregnant with Tommy. Its sad! Jared needs to stop catering to Ellies every wish. If he wants to see the kids grow up, he needs to take care of his health. I think Jareds heart pain is related to stress, the stress of providing Ellie with everything her little heart desires.

It's not in Ellie's purview to worry about money. It Jared's job to provide her with the lifestyle that she has become accustomed to. I know it's been said, but it's just SO "Ellie" that she said that they would have this lifestyle with or without YT. I don't know what makes her believe that, except that she also seems to believe that God is rewarding them for being such "good people" (HUGE eyeroll). There's no way Jared could have provided their lifestyle as a Verizon sales associate.
No wonder he's stressed.

Jared doesn't have anything majorly wrong with his heart, except he needs to lay off energy drinks and get some sleep. His Dad, on the other hand, does have stents. I also think they told Jared to watch his cholesterol. His Dad kept saying Jared needs to manage his stress.
What I took away from the podcast- Jared does everything, and he has no help.

I feel bad for the kids, Jackson in particular. Ellie keeps saying he is older in his mind than he actually is. Since Calvin was born, Jackson has had his childhood taken from him. He had to grow up fast to take care of Calvin so his mom could stay on bedrest while pregnant with Tommy. Its sad!

Parentification of a child. It's a thing. It's a psychological disfunction that was done to Ellie's siblings and is now being passed on to their own children. It's extremely damaging for children to have to step in and be responsible for regulating their parents' emotional well-being or take over the tasks/responsibilities of a parent. It also applies to siblings. It is NOT OKAY to make your children parent each other. It is NOT OKAY to burden children with adult emotional problems or responsibilities. EVER. It causes life-long psychological and emotional trauma.

just watched a video entitled Life in 1982 on A Griffith’s Life channel. No wonder Ruby and the rest of her siblings are all nuts. Chad was EXTREMELY rough with them when they were kids. At one point he’s pushing Ruby in a swing when she is only about 1 or so and he was pushing her SO rough and fast that she nearly flew out of the swing! I would’ve frickin’ killed my husband if he did that to my child. If you watch videos on that channel he is constantly being physically abusive with the kids. If you look at him and his scary eyes you can tell he’s purposely trying to hurt them. He’s a PSYCHOPATH! Dear Lord, I really feel sorry for all the Griffith kids and their children. There is something VERY wrong about him and Jennifer. She just sits there and laughs as he’s physically abusing them. God only knows what he did to those children off camera.

Chad actually reminds me of Jared a bit in that video with his fake over enthusiasm. Remember when Jared had baby Jackson in his car seat and swung him around in circles really fast?

Now we know where Ellie got her idea for the kids to jump down the stairs for something “so fun!”

Did anybody listen to the podcast with his dad? At one point Jared said he went to bed with chest pains and didn't know if he would die in his sleep. His dad said he should have had Ellie take him to the ER. Jared said Ellie did know and apparently did nothing. Can you imagine just ignoring something like that? He went on to say that Ellie has her own problems with hormones and anxiety and he doesn't want to interrupt her sleep (or something along those lines). I suppose she wouldn't care if he died in his sleep as long as it doesn't affect her. Could she be more self-centered?
