Elle’s complaining on IG that some people came at her in her DM’s after her bitching about it snowing again. She claims that they’ve been cooped up for 5 months while it’s been so cold in Utah... umm how many days have you actually spent in Utah with all your gallivanting around the country for photo shoots and Bollie meetings etc??
It’s not even the fact she’s complaining about the cold, she’s only upset because they’re stuck at their house in lockdown. I’d say this is the longest time she’s stayed home in years! She can’t handle normal life at home.

The last five months....let's see. She traveled to Disney World, NYC and Mexico. How many of you were able to travel to this extent and then with a straight face tell us you've been confined to home with winter weather. She deserved each and everyone of the DMs complaining about normal life during the winter and now she is required to stay home due to the spread of a virus that is dangerous.
She is a very selfish young lady and this will cost her their livelihood.

She could not make herself look less intelligent. It was a fairly mild winter and not that much snow. They have been confined since mid October? Give me a break, it’s winter not being confined. If she stays home and inside all the time that’s the choice that she is making. Plus she has been on so many trips.

Living on the beach or near a beach just becomes every day life as well. It’s not a constant vacation. Then you’d be confined to the air conditioning in the summer.

I don't think she's ever experienced a real summer down south. Sure the beach is nice for a week, but it's hot as hell. She also would still need to deal with her kids and the animals plus the heat if they move.

So the puppy can come inside, but the other animals stay outside in the cold?

Maybe she’s pregnant?

The church had said those that women who are expecting, nursing, or have health issues don’t have to fast, also kids younger than 8 also don’t fast. Or maybe she told Jared she would only fast with breakfast but lunch and dinner she wouldn’t fast for.

Who knows, it’s princess Ellie after all.

So what is Jared doing now for income. The ebook profits are divided by several families, Bollie could be in trouble and they no longer vlog. I don't see any brand deals.
He needs a hip surgery that was a questionable financial burden when they've talked about in the past. Their health insurance premiums have got to be high. Ellie wants another baby? I feel they have a mortgage? Car payments? To me, they look like they could be having future problems after living on a significant income for several years. I'm assuming they must have saved, but they also spent at a higher level too.

I don't think any sites are reliable telling the true pictures in how channels are doing with views. E&J still doesn't have a vlog that are recording/trending views.

Another site -> looked at E&J views in one week.

If I were Jared I’d be panicking. Not only are his job prospects questionable, with so many businesses having to shut down, furlough, and even fire employees, it’s not like he can just slip into a new job or position with any sort of ease. He obviously thinks he’s a shoe-in for some career in an entertainment field, but I don’t think too many employers will be impressed that he dropped out of life for X amount of years to film his BS life and pimp out his kids.

Imagine how they could’ve set themselves up pretty well the years they were doing YouTube if they hadn’t had to pop out kids and live above their means. Even though Ellie isn’t that bright, she could’ve worked her way up at a mediocre chain like Sports Clips or something. At least she’d have something to fall back on in case her marriage fails or her husband dies. At this rate, if she were widowed, she’d have to move in with a reluctant Chad and Jennifer until she could snag a new man. She doesn’t really have a lot to offer and has A LOT of baggage.

That post about Jared’s hip, she almost sounded like she was really annoyed she might lose her holiday home if their money had to go to Jared’s new hip!
I truly don’t know how they all survive with such narcissistic ding dongs for wives? I am blown away at the dumbness did they just pick breeding mules for the sake of breeding?

I think Jared hasn’t gotten hip surgery yet because he knows Ellie is not capable of making sure everything will be taken care of while he recovers.

From what they’ve said, last time Jared had hip surgery, he was bed ridden while recovering. If that happens again, Jared knows that there is no way Ellie will be able to properly care for him, herself, their kids, their animals, the house, etc. She has proven that.

It’s as if she never grew into a full-fledged adult. She is not independent whatsoever. Also, it would be a big mistake if they were to have another baby right now. I really hope she’s not still trying to get pregnant, especially given the crisis we’re currently living in.

She made a comment about wishing on a falling star and hoping her wish came true...

I think it’s safe to say her wish wasn’t for Jared to have hip surgery. It’s just not a priority for her.

I think Jared needs hip replacement this time. They have hip replacement patients up and walking within 24 hours and home from the hospital very quickly. You are right that he wouldn’t be able to take care of the boys and grant Ellie’s every wish but he won’t be bed-bound like he was with his other surgery. Others have pointed out that they probably have a high-deductible health insurance policy. That’s likely why they are putting off the surgery.

For a hip replacement, the surgery itself is the easiest part. Yes, you can be in and out in 24 hours but there’s still a recovery period and a lot of physical therapy, multiple times a week. You need a walker after surgery, you can’t drive for a couple months. You can’t lift anything heavy including groceries and kids. Right after, you need help showering and putting compression socks on and off. You even need help putting your shoes on. I cared for my mom after hers. I had to drive her everywhere, take her for slow walks to build her energy back up, do everything I mentioned above. Trust me, she wanted nothing more than to get back to caring for herself but it took a few months. She was considered a perfect candidate and she’s in amazing physical shape.

I can’t picture Ellie being able to handle it as she seems to be overwhelmed in general. If it’s an insurance issue, that’s different. Maybe they should cut back on the vacations, start making YouTube videos, quit buying new pets and save up for what’s really important. I feel like if Ellie needed surgery, Jared wouldn’t hesitate.

Jared will probably get his hip surgery once Ellie gets another baby. If they have a high deductible to meet, labor-and delivery alone could probably meet that deductible, then Jared's surgery could possibly cost them less. The cherry on top would be, with both of them recouping, another adult would have to be there to help Ellie.

The Griffith girls seem stunted in growth, due to being pushed out of the nest as soon as they graduated high school. They were never able to fully mature. I think Ruby and Julie may be more mature of the lot, but Ruby has her own BIG issues. Of the 4, I think Julie may be the one with the least amount of issues.

They still seem to be spending a fair bit of money. They have bought a bunch of new supplies for their years like rubber mulch and rocks. All that stuff is just icing on the cake. If you really can’t afford hip surgery why not save the money for it. Are they that vain about the appearance of where they live or are they potentially at looking at selling?

E&J were surprised a couple of years back talking to an insurance agent how expensive family insurance was (without an employers->small business) when they needed to add Ellie to their family plan. She was on her dad's insurance until 26. So the infertility treatments, a couple of their children births, the insurance coverage was better with her dad's insurance (lower deductible etc.). I don't believe Jared's parents continued insurance for him until 26? I don't know how they go forward with Jared not having a steady job and on Ellie's proceeds from IG?
Julie, with different significant issues, is married to Landon who is in school/PhD program with an uncertain future. His goal is to become a professor who is granted tenure. There's no telling if he has student loans, but likely he does after being in school for a decade+. My guess is they're receiving some government assistance, at least with health care. Julie said in her videos before she quite nursing, she worked to provide benefits and income. Julie vloged she doesn't plan on returning to nursing at this time. I believe they live an inexpensive life with a small cheap rental and watch every penny spent that YT/brand deals cover. Ruby, to me, is the only one financially stable and she talked about her past experiences being on government assistance and paying down debt, but her YT success certainly has made life much easier.
