Omg she is a drama queen..crying telling the kids no more school for the year. The kids didn’t give a shit. Cullen gave her the biggest side eye watching her carrying on like a blubbering idiot. She was obviously trying to bait the kids into crying too but it didn’t work. She has kept saying how much the kids LOVE school and how much they learn every day and that’s why they kept paying to keep them in..even when they are broke. She’s only crying because she can’t stand to be around her own kids for more than a couple hours and another of her lies has been revealed.

Exactly, I am sad my oldest is missing his last few months of preschool and he misses his friends. But for the most part it is so much easier not having to get my kids out of bed every morning to get him to school.

This woman truly just does not want to be with her children that much is clear. I hate how she just forces her feelings on to them.

She alluded in her latest Instagram post that they may have decided to stay in the house.

Why hasn’t Katie showered in 3 or 4 days? She gets up at 5 am (supposedly). What is she doing that is taking up so much of her time? I have two kids at home as well, and we have nothing but time right now!

And why are they still getting Nature Box? That is a luxury they cannot afford.

They are fools if they think they can afford to stay there and pay off debt. Not unless they get rid of the Suburban, tithing and school/daycare costs AND increase their income.

They could easily create a schedule for each of them that would allow work time, quiet time, school time, workout time, family time, HOMECOOKED dinners and eating together, bath time, bed time. I mean seriously.

I dont understand how they can possibly afford to keep the house, unless they are hoping for deferred mortgage payments / whatever the american government is offering for financial assistance.

I totally understand eating leftovers until they are gone, especially during times like these where you want to stay inside amap.
BUT they eat soooo much pizza "leftovers"
Maybe they should switch over to getting pizza every other week to eliminate eating it for so many leftover meals.

I hate how they let those kids manhandle those poor snails for days on end. I get that kids just like to see them but teach them that they need to stay outside.

Also, did anyone else find it extremely negligent that Brooks was alone in the bath full of water and C&K were in the kitchen? He is only 3 he could have easily hit his head and drowned. Maybe I am just extra cautious but I don't leave my kids in the bath alone to go eat dinner. We all eat dinner as a family and then they take baths with adult supervision.

They don't teach their kids any respect for animals. Gaines once played with a worm for a couple of hours before "breaking" it. And Katie made this post about how loved that worm was and how it had such a wonderful last few hours. No, it was probably miserable. Worms dry out outside of the earth. They bring animals inside and let the kids use the pets as pillows. And then post pictures of how "cute" it is. It's never "look but don't touch". They bring the animals inside and play with them, and it's not cute. It's cruel.
Missy and Bryan do the same thing with Ollie.

It definitely was. I didn’t start leaving my daughter for short bits until she was between 4 and 5, and that was to walk into the other room to grab a drink and come right back. Started leaving her for longer when she was between 5-6 and then around 7 she could stay in the tub without me in there, but I still regularly checked and talked to her if I was in the other room. Water is one of those areas I believe parents need to be vigilant.

I just don't understand this whole oh woah as me, my kids are home all day now. News flash Katie your kids are 3 and 5. Most stay at home parents have their kids that age home all day everyday. She acts like her kids are 12 and need so much help with their school work all day. All her kids need right now is to be read to and limited screen time. I feel like all of this "our lives are so crazy with the kids home" b.s is just for show so they can defend having the kids in daycare all day.

What was new is an "upgraded" desk for who else than Gaines. Ri.di.culous. She just had a new desk with all her school stuff.

Brooks was very sweet he empathically said to Gaines: Oh then you can't see [some girlfriend at school]! Katie was absolutely ridiculous, also lying to your kids like that and being so really untruthful.

I can't wait till Brooks appears to be smarter than Gaines, would be funny and Katie deserves it. Cullen told that Brooks (3 y.o.!) had shared he had learned in school that the planets revolve around the sun; real and relevant content, which he had picked up. I think it's safe to say Gaines never did or we would have known by now and the way Cullen noticed it seemed new. Sadly their family division is still in tact and Cullen told what Brooks had said, not Katie, who didn't seem to be moved by it at all. Of course a couple of minutes later she had to follow with giving an example of what Gaines had said, and which was related to social relationships, namely that she wanted to stay in the front yard longer to see people/neighbors. All with a feeling-tender loud out smile. I think it also reflects back on Cullen that he is latently interested in this kind of stuff and that Katie doesn't give a sh* about science.

Her completely disinterested and emotionless "okay", "okay" to Brooks the only thing she could say was really annoying and bothersome. The queen came home and Katie immediately raised her tone of voice, energy and excitement and of course her involvement with Gaines in the presentation of her room. Also giving Gaines more opportunity than Brooks to learn stuff and gain insight, I'm sure Katie won't realize.

No one will be buying in these times anyway. I think it's the right thing. Take it off the market so it can reset and then list it again in spring. I just dont understand how they can possibly afford to do this
