I'm shocked Alex 'only healthy when it's convenient know it all' drank the glucose drink too-almost EVERYONE I know (natural or not)finds out before what the parameters are & uses a natural/organic substitute instead.
I can't even hate watch them so I rely on their IG & this board to know what shitnanigans they're up to!
I have had two children and have never heard of this. I don't know any doctors who would be okay with you using an alternative to the glucose drink. What are these alternatives you speak of? Lol I am generally curious.

And she annoyed the shit out of me when she said her body felt sooo sick because she wasn't used to that much sugar. Girl, I don't know ANYONE who can fast for 12 hours, drink a can of sugar in under 5 minutes, and then feel good. It has nothing to do with if your body is used to sugar. It's just a lot for anyone. You aren'tt above anyone else, Alex.

Is this her hen house? No way would 20 laying hens be comfortable in the tiny enclosed box overnight. And they all need somewhere if she expects them to lay.... Even if they are “free range” during the day.

If they can’t lay in their hen house, then they’re going to find a safe spot somewhere on her property to lay, and that will be a pain in the ass to try and find their hiding spots every day.

Let’s hope she gets something bigger.

I used to read a midwife board, and some of the ladies there used jelly beans as an alternative to the glucose drink. There were other options as well,I don't recall rightoffhand, though

Oh wow that’s smaller than I thought it was. I wouldn’t even like to put one or two in there let alone twenty!!!! That really seems like a large number for a family of 4/5. Maybe they’re really going to go hard with this homestead farmer thing and try to sell them? I bet they’re getting a dog next.

She’ll probably have Phil scramble to build a new or larger coop once they go to move them outside and realize wait a minute this won’t work!

The house is certainly on the small side. But since only 10 will survive and that includes then roosters they probably will be fine. I expect them to end up with 5 hens in total... 😂

What are the rules over in the States re your households? Phil and Alex have a visitor, looks like her dad.
Here in the UK no one else is allowed to come into your home, not even other members of your family. They can drop shopping off but have to leave it outside.

California and New York might have more strict rules but we're just advised to stay home. Plenty of people out hiking, getting take out, having playdates or going to the playground (if open)... we're being very cautious but my area isn't very affected and people don't seem to take it too seriously

We're not allowed to meet up with anyone outside of our household. Playgrounds are closed, only allowed out for essential shopping and one outing for exercise per day. Police patrol stopping cars etc. Partners can't be with you when you give birth, funerals, only immediate family allowed at a mnimum. A 13 year old boy died alone in hospital last week, parents weren't allowed to say goodbye or attend the funeral as one is infected.

Image We have it very easy right now but I imagine if people keep being careless we will follow suit. Currently we're allowed one visitor in hospital, no funerals or any gatherings over 10 people. Only just starting to limit shoppers in stores and no regulations really about fines for non essential outings in most of the US

I’m in California and we are under strict orders. No one in and no one out except for essential workers.

Organic apple juice usually has the same amount of sugar/glucose needed for the test in the same amount of fluid as the ones they give for testing. Someone above linked an article from the UK saying jellybeans were an acceptable swap too.

Well I wonder if they got “straight run” sor “sexed” chickens because you can’t keep more than like 2 roosters....it just causes trouble

On Alex's instastories, it appears that her father is spending Easter with them and Grammy (Alex's mother) is talking with them via their laptop.

Well I guess RV life is officially over. You can't travel with 20+ chickens in your RV and they have to have care...so yeah they aren't doing any long term traveling any time soon. I knew they weren't planning on it with the baby's health issues for awhile but they talked like after the baby was stable they might travel more. So I'm surprised they would take on chickens. Although I have a funny feeling those chickens will disappear once that baby comes and they have no time for them. Alex likes to take on crazy projects with little research when she's feeling anxious about something and this appears to be another example of that. I can't imagine how her mental health will be after giving birth and dealing with a sick baby...such a mess.

The plan with them always seems to be reactionary.

Adopt because they couldn't have kids.
RV because the IVF wasn't working
Homestead because they aren't going to have a normal birth and infancy.

They need to figure out what kind of therapy they need, to fix whatever they are trying to cover up with with all of these "adventures" and stop worrying about the YouTube algorithms and live their lives.

The dumbasses hid REAL eggs and are now missing two. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. The kids hid them and now they can’t find them.

That’s what you get! NORMAL people use PLASTIC eggs.

This only is a problem if the egg breaks. The shell actually keeps the “rotten stink” in and also doesn’t decompose very fast
