I thought I had seen something to that effect! So it's not totally a fever dream! Thanks.
My post was basically a rant. I thought they had posted "why we sold our house". So I was ranting about how they shouldn't have bought a bigger house to begin with, etc.

Curious to see where they wind up. I wonder if they’d go back to Tennessee, which is a great place to invest. But then of course, she wouldn’t have nana there to co-parent with Andrew.

Their Christmas was humble this year. Cas got a lot of plastic crap and Jayden got mostly gaming related stuff, including one of those pewdiepie chairs. She has a new gaming channel and is on Mixer. Interesting. Seeing a lot of family channels doing this after the new demonization on family channels kicked in in January— having their kids set uo their own channels that will quality for regular monetization. The Johnson Family Just started a kids channel “livandpey.” I wonder how that money is shared within the family.

They're modifying a van to live in. Those poor kids. Jayden is a teenager. Most teenagers want their own rooms and to have a little privacy. But no, let's live in a van!
They're broke, so they are trying to reinvent themselves. Here's a novel idea: get a JOB. I know it's hard right now, but there are jobs available. Grocery delivery apps are desperate for people, and the tips are good because people are trying to get their deliveries faster. Stores are hiring.
They just make me so angry.

I don’t think “broke” is the right word, but they were living outside of their means and seemed to let the metaphorical weeds overgrow. They are doing a lot of sponcon. They sold their house and are renting a new place that’s small but fits them. They bought the van so they could travel more, which they can do as unschoolers. Of course this also provides them a new form of content because “van life” is so popular on YouTube now and fits their aesthetic. The issue with the van imo is that they are winging it on the design, it seems. I know Hannah is good at pulling together spaces, albeit not for the ideal price tag. I think Jayden will have a hard time because she’s a teen girl but more so because she’s really into twitch streaming which will be a lot harder on the road. I anticipate her staying back on these trips a lot.

True that "broke" is probably an overstatement.
But it's just so ridiculous that they started out in a perfectly good house, with a pool, spent a bunch of money renovating the kitchen, and then HAD to move into a bigger, "better" place (I think partly to keep up with DB who probably couldn't care less) and then couldn't afford to stay in it, and now are having to rent. If they had stayed in their old house, they could have paid down the mortgage and been sitting pretty. But Andrew especially wanted to live in a gated community. Because that's what's important.
And they call themselves Christians. But obviously, temporal wealth and its trappings are plenty important to them.

Nah they’re about to do another release. It went sour because YouTube money was better ! Now they’re making a come back apparently.
