God Savannah’s face looked so sickly pale in today’s video.

Their really dumb and don’t understand social distancing and only going out for essentials! They went dress shopping in today’s vlog, brought Branson’s fiancé over and Daniell had a friend over. You’re not supposed to be visiting people!

I agree. But, I am thinking that this was at the very beginning of things, before it got really bad? I at least hope they aren't that stupid to be doing that right now?? Offtopic: Even at the beginning, I was like... KEEP AWAY, EVERYONE!!!!! I had a doctors appointment, end of February... he's on top floor... I looked around, made sure no one was around... pressed elevator... jumped in... pressed the door close button rapidly til it closed, and was like "THANK YOU LORD" that no one got in with me! I signed in and sat way way way away from everyone. I have so many medical conditions, if I get covid-19 I will probably not live through it.. so, I haven't been out except for around my yard, since March 11th.HeyKatie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 8:18 pm Their really dumb and don’t understand social distancing and only going out for essentials! I stopped watching them and just catch up with the all the newest developments here. They are just unbearable since they moved. It is because of people like them that the COVID19 measures won't be effective for quite some time. I don't live in the US, but from what I get is that the measures there are quite some weeks behind from many European countries.
Where I grew up, we had a lockdown in place since March 11 (full lockdown with non essential shops closed, hotels, restaurants, gyms, schools, everthing..closed except critical shops and infrastructure and people must stay inside unless they have a good reason to leave the house: groceries, walk their pets, get fresh air (max. 2 ppl) or help others). They just extended those measures until after Easter.
In the country where I work, they put the same lockdown around March 16....and just on friday they also extended that until April 19, with the option until May 3rd. And most people here stick to it since you get high fines for breaking the rules.
so for all of those bloggers to bluntly ignore what is going on in the world (italy, spain, france etc.) is so egocentric and narrowminded. Panic buying is already a thing...they just have to wait until the health care system collapses too and one of their loved ones needs help and cannot receive it. That's a real thing and they are just pretending it is a harmless thing for creating content.
Sorry for the rant, but those youtubers are getting on my nerves. I used to be a big fan of all the Griffiths sisters, the tannerites/yawi, april & davey but apperantly all the fame blew out their brain cells, increased their ego and reduced their common sense. And they all want to make us believe they follow the lord's way? pfff.....
the only youtubers I can stand is J House vlogs. Still the same old family, no stupid games or giveways or sponsored videos every time they upload.
This whole engagement thing.. I am waiting to see how that plays out. my god.... thse kids should get out of the house and experience real life in order to choose which lifestyle they would prefer.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI: Failing our kids as they fail homeschool | Part 2
I have zero idea on what to feel about this family after seeing multiple things. I watched this YouTube family back in 2017 and I thought they were pretty cool. But now...
1. I remember seeing tons of thumbnails about Allie and I think Daniell’s periods and one of them getting cramps and this bothered me so bad. If one of them are having period cramps so bad, they need to go to the doctor! Don’t film them let alone put a camera in their face! What on earth? I wanted to hug whichever girl it was when I saw it in the thumbnail!
2. I think they did some sort of blaming prank on Az or Canyon (forgot which one) with drawing on the walls and if Az/Canyon actually did do that, then okay, understandable I guess. But if this was actually a blaming prank or whatever, that isn’t nice at all.
3. 12/13 year old me in 2017 thought they were an amazing family, but now if I think about it, they are quite socially stunted. Yuck.
4. The way Johnny is with the whole porn, dating, sex, etc, especially with the girls, that’s just super creepy and weird. Porn isn’t exactly that great, okay! But for lord’s sake, leave Branson, Allie, and Daniell’s dating/sex lives alone! And leave the others’ dating lives alone in the future, too.
5. I don’t see anything wrong with Allie liking Disney princesses or them liking stuff that’s considered “Younger” than their age. That’s just their taste, so as long as it’s not way too obsessive.
6. Canyon‘a obsession with poop and stuff like that is a bit concerning, I was slightly obsessed with mine at a certain age but not that obsessed. I don’t think he should be crapping his pants/diaper either, Sarah and Johnny need to be fixing this. Some of Canyon’s behavioral issues could really affect his life later on, too.
7. I have a suspicion that there is sexual abuse going on. There’s so many things that I’ve seen that just seems like something suspicious is going on...I’m so worried about their safety. Obviously no one has any evidence except for them themselves so we don’t know, but it’s still scary.
8. I do like that they would be accepting if one of their kids were gay/lesbian, bisexual, trans, etc. That’s super unusual seeing that from religious YouTubers. But that’s at least okay.
9. Do they even homeschool properly? As a homeschooled kid myself, I feel like they don’t homeschool properly. I feel like they will be or are held up in classes.
10. I’m okay with Branson still living with his parents, I don’t see much wrong with that. As long as they aren’t doing absolutely nothing to help around the house but Branson seems to appear to be doing good around the house.
11. Branson and Allie should be getting jobs, though. I think Branson has a job but I don’t know, Daniell is gonna be 16 in 2ish months so I think she should start looking into jobs as well.
Overall, I used to like this family before, but now after hearing stuff and seeing stuff. There’s so many warning signs and terrible sounding things going on, I just don’t know what to think anymore. I hope their kids will be okay in the end, and maybe Branson or Allie can move out with any chance.

Can they stop looking just at themselves in the view finder? Even the kids! Look at the lense. Just bugs me how they have this gaze to the side look or when someone is talking they aren’t listening to them just looking at the screen of themselves or putting he person in frame.

I just watched their vlog from a few days ago.. Allie says at the end how she basically knows she's immature, and Disney is a place she feels she belongs, because she can be who she is. And I honestly felt really bad for her. I may be biased in this opinion of feeling bad for her, but.. as I have said before, and others have, it's not the kids fault they are how they are. Blame lays within the parents. Something happened to her, to make her feel stuck in that child-like, "immature" mind-set. What? We may never know. I just felt for her in her little speech.

Holy snaps a lot, Savannah! No wonder Lizzie is always crying, if Savannah is always snappy and crabby like that with her... geez. I think that Savannah is a lot like Daniell and Lizzie is a lot like Allie... and Daniell and Savannah get their crabby snappy attitudes from their dad, and they need to fix that... while it may not be great to be a "cry baby" or an "adult child" it's certainly not great to be a crabby snappy person all the time, and it will just make you a miserable controlling person.

The timeline is all over the place. - Two weeks ago there was a video with the kids in a pool, and now I just watched a vlog with them building the pool in the first place.

Who else is waiting for the day they release a vlog titled, "Five year old bitten by scorpion"? Why the hell are they capturing scorpions, bringing them in the house, and releasing them with all the kids outside? They have five and seven year old boys who now think its cool to capture and play with and look at scorpions. That's just asking for something terrible to happen.

I honestly can't believe, of all the YT families, that Tannerites is actually taking the social distancing more seriously than a lot of the others. Yeah, Branson's fiancee has gone back and forth between homes.. but, she seems to be settled with the Tannerites right now and has been for weeks. And the more they are showing of Branson and Mara, the more I am not disliking them together. Maybe not being able to go anywhere for awhile has gotten to me or something, but, they just don't seem to be so bad together. And I like how Mara is with his siblings. She doesn't seem to be putting on an act, she genuinely seems to like them.

^ Yeah but for them nothing has changed much, social distancing and sleeping in all day is basicly their modus operandi anyway. Apart from church they keep the kids at home anyway so they can provide the family income with ever more "last to be found" videos.
And yeah, Mara seems like some bubbly older sister that come home, she fits right in with the siblings. Aided by the fact that the two love birds have all the time in the world but aren't allowed to do the deed until marriage. LOL.
Btw, In the newest video there is still the Canyon-going-berserk/standing-in-corner/hugging-hurt-brother routine going on. - It's been like that for years now. - Parenting fail deluxe.

Very true, but.. when it was Rykel's birthday, when they went to wish her Happy Birthday, they stayed 6ft or more apart. Which had to be hard for them. And normally you see them go out with Sarah's father every once in awhile, to dinner... "who will pay first". It's really nice to see them stick to it.. as well as The Ohana's... unlike some of these families, that I just wanna scream at! I want a Mara in my family! Too bad I have no brothers to marry a girl like her lol
I haven't seen it yet, but... I am already cringing. That kid... I am not sure if it's a lack of real discipline/too much babying, or he isn't quite all there... and I hate to say that about a child... but, the way he acts sometimes, I just get the feeling that something is wrong mentally. I could be totally wrong, and I hope I am. And if I am, and it's just them not disciplining him or overly babying him... they need to change that asap!

Am I the only one who is like "wtf" when it comes to how the "tooth fairy" works in their family? The kids request toys/things... and to keep their teeth? Every time I am just like, "who does this?".

I’m sorry but are their no rules in Utah regarding funerals? I’m in Canada and my step dad’s aunt just passed away and they could only have 10 family members present and everyone had to practise social distancing.

Also Sarah saying how their doing SOOO good at social distancing but then going to get her hair done and trying to justify it by saying it was just her friend and not a busy salon.

Haha, my parents did the tooth fairy the same way; there were toys and handwritten tooth fairy letters (and I always got to keep the teeth), the whole nine yards. It's definitely weird though. And pretty uncommon I'm assuming, since this is the first time I've heard of anyone else doing it.ThisIsMeCeej wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 6:59 pm Am I the only one who is like "wtf" when it comes to how the "tooth fairy" works in their family? I could see if your parents errr the tooth fairy did that for you, but.. it's the requesting part that bothers me. It's not Santa.. you know? So, I just don't get it I guess lolPumpkinHead wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:55 pmHaha, my parents did the tooth fairy the same way; there were toys and handwritten tooth fairy letters (and I always got to keep the teeth), the whole nine yards.
