They are ALWAYS overcommitting. That’s their biggest problem. They never just take on one challenge at a time, it’s adoption and IVF at the same time. Or IVF and renovating an RV at the same time. Or buying an RV that they have to fully remodel to be IG worthy instead of buying one that’s already updated or living with a normal RV. Or transferring their embryo and moving in to the RV to travel the country immediately. Or being about to give birth to a medically fragile baby who requires heart surgery almost immediately and taking on 30 chicks.

They need to stop this pattern. Enjoy where they are in the moment and quit over committing. It’s all self-inflicted, none of it was a coincidence or God’s timing. It’s ridiculous.

Can someone explain what’s wrong with the lawn mower? I’ve never had a proper yard before so I don’t know what would have been a more appropriate purchase

So, in that last vlog, Phil says he "rescued" a turtle from mowing the lawn and that the girls now had a new pet. WTF... Do they not know that it is against the law to keep wild or endangered turtles as pets?! It looked like a box turtle to me which they are an endangered species. Was he joking? Also, most turtles cannot survive if they are displaced from their habitat and placed elsewhere. I cannot handle how they are launching themselves fully into "farm life" without properly educating themselves on how to care for animals.

I think Alex said that they set the turtle free after the girls could “play” with it for awhile...well..you don’t just play with wildlife till you are tired of it.
Phil should have just moved the turtle over and keep on mowing and being more aware the next time. Don’t put it in a box and confuse it. And yes it is a box turtle.

I’m honestly kind of shocked at the nonchalant care her midwife appears to provide.... she asked her if she had a blood pressure monitor or scale and Alex replied no that she doesn’t... it’s extremely important during pregnancy to have your blood pressure checked regularly and your urine screened. Plenty of women show no symptoms of serious problems and doing those routine tests are solely what indicate a potential complication. I understand a lot of providers are using telehealth visits now but at the very least they should require that their patients have the ability to check their weight and BP from home. I’m also surprised her Midwife is allowing her to remain a patient of theirs. Usually when things are discovered in a pregnancy that make a person high risk they are required to transfer to the care of an OB... atleast in my experience.

I also looooved how she was okay with getting the blood pressure monitor, but she’s happy she doesn’t have to check her weight, so she doesn’t care to buy a scale. If anyone needs a scale, it’s Phil and Alex.

Plus her complaining about the birthing class being online and missing out. Bitch, you wanted to be pregnant more than anything on this planet. Stop complaining. You got your scientific “miracle” baby.

I swear if they choose to go through more pregnancies after this one, I will have even less sympathy than I do now for her. She clearly isn’t having the beautiful glowing experience she expected, but I doubt she’ll learn

On 6acres a small tractor with a mowing attachment would have been the smarter choice and he could have gotten that used for the same price. More power and more flexibility. The mower he bought was at least 7k +\- and only mows... you can rent attachments for your tractor and have a much more versatile tool.
For their immediate yard they could have gotten a small push mower and weedeater.

I would think the clotting disorder alone would warrant an OB/high risk specialist?

I loved my birthing classes and would have been disappointed if we couldn't have attended them in person.I will give them that.It was a big part of my pregnancy experience

Laughing at alex congratulating Rachelle Swannie on her twins like she never unfollowed her and stopped being her friend when rachelle’s IVF worked and hers didn’t. Now that alex is pregnant she can tolerate being friends with Rachelle again? What a self centered freak.

Being a nurse myself, I can't imagine being pregnant, on the road, in a new location, doing telehealth visits and NOT having, at the bare minimum -a scale and a BP cuff to monitor my baseline wellbeing. I would also have a doppler and urine strips. Also my daughters would have a pediatrician by now in the new place. The girl has zero common sense. I would not want her at my child's bedside as their nurse. Good thing she's done.

In all fairness this was filmed a few weeks ago and Alex has since gotten a blood pressure cuff (she mentioned this in her stories when talking about her swollen feet a bit ago). Plus finding any sort of medical equipment is pretty hard these days. Just because everything suddenly switched to telehealth doesn’t mean everyone magically became equipped with medical equipment to monitor everything themselves at home. Maybe they have a scale in storage and we’re expecting to have gotten it back, they certainly must have had on pre-RV because Phillip kept track of his weight. Just playing devils advocate, it’s really not surprising to me that a few weeks ago she wasn’t well equipped to be doing telehealth visits (especially considering they just came out of the RV).

I personally don’t think telehealth visits during pregnancy are safe. There are lots of other appointments in which doing telehealth makes sense and is low risk but I feel like during pregnancy you need to be seen and checked routinely in person by a provider. My OB doesn’t do telehealth at all for that reason, instead he takes additional precautions in the office. Everyone is required to wear a mask and only 1 patient is allowed in the waiting room at a time. He also has a nurse practitioners who does not do rounds or deliveries at the hospital see all of his patients at their in office visits. Every time I go my BP, urine, weight, fundal height, swelling etc is checked. I wouldn’t feel comfortable missing out on that.

Yes shows how little they care about the girls needs and well being, but they say in every video how they are just SOOoo busy and have SOOooo much to do to get settled. Before buying chickens and building a garden I would probably make a damn list of actually important things like changing my residency, getting my kids a new pediatrician etc.

okay I'm so confused from her stories this morning. As a nurse for supposedly 10 years she's never owned or used compression socks? What the hell is wrong with her?!?! I practically live in mind every shift because otherwise your feet are dead after 12 hours. She must have gone to some stupid hole in the wall School and I'm surprised she even was in the NICU which is with very very very sick patients I would not want her near them.

I am confused that she puts them on over night while sleeping. I put them on in the morning and take them off before going to bed. Granted I a, now 41 weeks pregnant and barley have issues with swelling. But it makes more sense to me to wear them in the daytime vs over night when my legs are pretty much even with my heart anyway

Instead of manically half assing it into 'homesteading' they should have used this time, energy & resources before their miracle baby/huge disappointment is born is DEEP.CLEAN.THAT.HOUSE. first and foremost; they are filthy lazy slobs who live in utter chaos. They should have made the girls bedroom(s) into the room of their (Kinsley & Callie's) dreams so when baby Jesus is born they'll feel somewhat special and not like the bandaids they are. Since Alex is going to homeschool 🙄 they should have gotten the school room set up & ordered the curriculum so when August/September rolls around they're prepared. But the most important thing they should have done as soon as they knew they were leaving California and moving to Tennessee was to check out doctors to address Callie's hip dysplasia. Instead, they have let that fall by the wayside as they threw everything they have into chasing ALEX'S sole reason for living-to get pregnant. I remember her saying she didn't care about xxx when/if she got pregnant because she wants to experience ALL of it yet all she's done is complain about EVERY little thing.

Why is she posting video of the baby moving inside her bare belly nearly every day? I guarantee there are about 2 people who care - Phil and herself. 🙄
