See she was getting instagram notifications like crazy when talking to khoa and keren. So she had already posted on instagram about the babies arrival.

When khoa said to keren that the babies had been born she replied with a really sarcastic “i knnnooow”. Then appeared to hang up

So they weren’t important enough to know about the babies at the same time as family and before she posted publicly about them. Lol.

So she probably didn’t record her convos with her sister, justins sister and his parents cos they dont like being in vlogs.

My son was chill and first and now he is such a handful! He is nonstop gogogo so they are in for it but its SO FUN. Like I cannot stress this enough. And I agree I dont think she seemed as disconnected to these babies as keren was with sutton's birth. She seemed genuinely in the baby bliss and probably out of it from the drugs and surgery. I cant imagine being super peppy and in your face after something like that.

Meh I have two girls and a boy and I’m equally bonded to all of them. You don’t bond more with boys or vice versa. I don’t understand why their genitals would affect your bond. Image

Fair enough, I know when it comes down to It whether my future kids are boys or girls I will love them with all my heart and establish an unbreakable bond. But I've always been very androgynous and I grew up with a brother, I always felt more masculine than feminine. So for me having a boy and sharing more boy things I guess excited me more. If you look at aspyn Ovard for example, she resonated with a daughter because shes incredibly girly and feminine and is into all that. Not me. I'm remember my dad bringing me to sports stores with him and getting clothes from the boy section.

And I'm not trying to start a discussion on genders and all that! I will love my kids no matter who they are. I just find that gender disappointment is a big thing especially when women have boys and I cant understand why.

That's a good point about the notifications and the order of things!

But after the Keren call she said she ran out of storage space on her phone so she didn't get to everybody, including their sisters. She didn't mention Justin's parents in that comment though, so I guess they called them already and just didn't record it?

I think it's really, really despicable that they posted on IG before talking to their fucking siblings. I'd never do that. And if my siblings did that to me I'd be heartbroken and just confused? Like... You're supposed to talk to your family before Instagram with shit like this. Can you imagine finding out about your new nephew (s) via social media? That's awful! God. They just couldn't fucking wait could they. Can't wait for two extra phone calls.

Im guessing they called all the family first and didn’t bother recording the siblings and justins parents because they dont like to be in the vlogs. Used the “lack of storage” on the phone as an excuse. Who goes into a labour and birth with little storage on their phone?? That makes no sense at all. Found it odd they spoke to her mom at 12.52pm - wouldn’t they have told her earlier?? 4.5hrs after the babies were born. Odd.

They then posted to IG.

Then as an after thought decided to call keren/khoa - or perhaps she had tried earlier and couldnt get hold of them? Of course she needed that footage to be included, they are besties after all Image

While she wasn’t disappointed to have the babies finally here, she was definitely not happy about having 2 boys and if you think she is then you’re wrong. She 1000% did not want 2 boys, drugged up or not you can see it. You could see it when she found out she was having twins and someone on the phone suggested it, and you can see it now that they’re here.

And I also don’t think it matters what gender your baby is but gender disappointment is a very very real thing and I believe rachelle has it. She would never admit it though.

I know this is a huge debate and it always causes craziness over on the pregnancy forums but now that they’re twin boys.. I wonder what she will do about circumcising them. I could care less really but that usually causes such a rift with commenters.

Is that even a thing still? I honestly cant say ive ever met anyone who has done that in the last 20 years - in New Zealand it certainly isnt common at all. In fact I suspect that it would be something you’d have to see a plastic surgeon for weeks/months after birth. (Just researched quickly - most of the cases in NZ are preteen/teen pacific island boys as a right of passage into manhood).

In the US it’s still a pretty big debate and things can spiral real fast in those forums. I’m sure they’ll be discreet about mentioning it because when she talked about vaccinations, her comment section went nuts.

She actually looks much thinner than when she took Emma home. Look at the difference in her face!

No blankets or hats on the babies is making me cringe. But there she is in a cardigan

It was like 95 degrees here today. I wouldn’t have had blankets on them either. Image

They are still premature newborns who cant regulate their own body temperatures. One was 6lb 9oz (guessing both similar size), babies still require one extra layer than an adult or child - regardless of outside temperature.

I agree. My son was born in late summer and even though i figured itd be pretty hot i still packed a couple blankets...to me it seems super odd for newborns to not have a blanket especially leaving the hospital. Dont most people use a special blanket and then put it in the babys keepsake box? Idk but that's what i did lol Image

This! Oh my god it drives me insane. I’m forever saying on Rachelle’s and other posts. Having a penis or vagina doesn’t dictate how sick the mother is in pregnancy, what their heart rate is, and it certainly doesn’t effect the bond. Unless you let it. Biologically there is nothing.

Someone had to open the can of worms!

I hope she doesn’t. In the UK it’s only done if medically necessary or for religious reasons, and even then it’s incredibly rare, and for good reason IMO. I don’t understand why people hack a body part off for ‘cleanliness’. Or so they look like their dad, as a girl I never looked at my fathers penis and compared it to anyone else’s. I don’t get why a boy would.
Just wash your penis, you’ll be grand! We don’t remove a girls clitoris and it’s illegal to do so without a clinical need...I don’t see how or why this is different.

And that’s all I’m going to say on that, before I get well and truly lynched!
