wow you can see the tension between abby and ruby in the birthday video. ruby acts so nice to her on camera to her but the way abby is so awkward around her and always backing away tells me that everything about ruby changes when the camera is off (obviously). when ruby brought her breakfast upstairs you could tell abby just wanted her to leave, god if ruby was my mom i could not tell her anything out of pure fear that it would be put on the internet for the everyone to see

No excuse for a phd professor engineer to have a child failing maths! She doesn’t need to be amazing but at her level math is still pretty basic!
I don’t believe Shari did the cake out of the goodness of her heart! She can barely breath if she is not the centre of attention in that family! Making the cake allowed her to shout out often stealing Abby’s moment!
She didn’t forget to scream out while Abby was opening gifts that one mat was Julie’s! Just be quiet for once it is not about you!!!!
Also I was shocked to see Abby’s body language when Ruby moves into her room. She keeps well away reaches out to take the plate then immediately moves back three steps away!
As for Kevin slobbering you can see it is all for the cam Ruby is dead behind the eyes while he is doing it, and his expression when his done is ‘to hell with this, not worth it!

The body languages are a common theme. I wonder how Ruby is behind the cameras. It's like they don't recognize this loving woman when she pops up on camera.
But all the children love to hug their dad. There's a vlog from last year where Abbie sits next to her dad an snuggles with him at that age, that's love. I've seen Julie do that as well and Russel too. But it gets awkward with Ruby.
I wonder if any of the Griffiths sisters even like children?

The only way I can think to explain why they show so much more love to Kevin is because he gets to be the “fun” parent without taking any responsibility whatsoever for their care besides bringing in a paycheck. That’s something the kids probably wouldn’t notice (especially in a culture where dads aren’t expected to be nurturing!) but they know he’s “fun” unlike mom. Mom isn’t nurturing or fun!

I totally agree there is never a run up natural hug or spontaneous kiss, nearly all of them never say I love you back when she acts out for the camera! I am guessing those children have gotten spankings and cruelty from her now she is trying to buy their silence but the damage is done! The same will happen to Bonnie!

They probably do but in that way of being the cool aunt who gets to give the kids back at the end of the day but alas Mormon women are basically just baby ovens

I can't be the only one who thinks that sometimes Ruby (and the other Griffith sisters) dress up like they are little kids? Like some of the "colorful" pieces Ruby had, I could imagine shrinking them down and giving them to Eve, and having those pieces look great on Eve. I can't be the only one right?!

Off topic but I occasionally watch other Mormon families such as the mikesell family and I've noticed that almost always at least one of the kids has one of those really weird small bed like Eve's and I cant think of why this is some weird trend

It's so cute the entire family loves the birds, they clearly have a great home. Since they birds are out so much, does that mean they have poop all over their house, or can they be trained? Every time I see them walking or perched, I wonder this, as much as they seem to have them out, there has got to be areas they are dropping and going unnoticed.

I wondered that too! Same with the Leroy's birds. Shanna lets their bird fly around. I would think there would be bird poop everywhere. And I could NOT handle that. I'm a terrible housekeeper, but I don't have animals pooping in my house. Dust, yes. Some clutter. But my bathrooms are clean, and so is my kitchen, and my dog poops _outside_.

I must disagree partly.

I think it is clear they like the birds and they are having lot of interaction with them. The birds seem to have also lot of time outside their cage which is great.

However, in one vlog or Instagram post I saw one of the birds on the kitchen counter and eating chips out of a plate that was waiting to be emptied. (This is only one incident but they saw the bird eating and didn't care)

Feeding birds correctly plays a big part in their health and life-expectancy. That was a small incident but I doubt that they truly have studied how to take care of the birds. I'm not bird expert myself but I have been watching BirdTricks channel on Youtube a lot to realize how much it takes to care for birds and how it is not for those who are not willing to study and make an effort.
