I don’t understand them not having concrete names ready? Whats so hard in having two full boys names and two full girls names ready?
For me it would have been harder having one of each after having two names ready, which of the four names do you pick?!?
I understand waiting to see what they look like - but does a newborn ever really look like one name or another?
They obviously knew they wouldn’t announce the names until later, no names were mentioned or dropped in either vlog.
She kept mentioning baby b before baby a - baby b was 6lb 9oz and baby a was 6lb 2oz. Is that a twin mom thing? She’s clearly more attached to baby b, she mentioned him first the most??

During my last pregnancy we lost two babies inuteto at 15wks, and went on to birth a healthy baby girl. In our eyes she is still a triplet even though her fellow triplets didn’t make it. We say we have 3 in our arms and two in our hearts (she has two older siblings too).Tweedles3 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:27 pmI heard her say that, too. I wouldn’t do that myself, and I lost my first pregnancy at 19 weeks, same as Rash. I’d like to one day get a mother’s ring with my children’s birthstones, and I would include him on that. But I don’t ever say I have 4 kids or count my angel baby as an active member of the family. My kids will learn of him when they are much older.131618 wrote:No one come for me lol
When Rachelle said they are a family of 6 because she counts Brynn....is that common among loss moms? I've only heard her and Joan say it. I buy into the thought that I will hopefully get to meet my own angel baby one day but I've never had the mindset to count them as members of our family

My bro & SIL on the other hand had a vanishing twin at about 10-11wks, and a miscarriage before that and they hose not to acknowledge them at all.
IMHO I feel it is nobodies business to judge how a loss family chooses to include/not include the babies that don’t make it earth side, and with such a sensitive topic, no matter how much you like or dislike someone we shouldn’t pass judgement or pick on how they have chooses to deal with the situation, especially when you are making judgement calls on a board you know damn well the person you are talking about reads. Put yourself in their postpartum, hormonal shoes for a moment and cut them a break. Grief like anything comes and goes in waves, and you’ll probably find mentions of Brynn whenever Emma or the new babies hit milestones, as it can be those moments that the ache of the babies that don’t make it hits the hardest.

The only milestones she’ll ever have to compare is the ones Emma never met. She’ll be all shocked how quickly these boys will walk and talk and crawl and develop, when they are only going to be average and just not delayed.aniraKKarina wrote:Usually I find most newborns cute in one way or another. Like, they always have something cute about them. Emma though...she was NOT cute.
But these little guys are absolutely adorable!
I had a c-section with my first and my recovery was rough. It hurt so much and made the first couple of weeks so hard. And I only had one baby to take care of. I feel for her. I hope Justin steps up and does most of the physical work so that she rest and recover.
As much as I dislike these two, I'm so happy for them. I'm happy that both babies are healthy and not born much too early. A little trouble with low blood sugar seems to be a small bump in the road.
Watching the newest vlog got me thinking that I actually don't think Rachelle will have too much gender disappointment as the boys grow.
I think it would have been much worse, if the twins had been a boy and a girl. I think she would have shown favoritism toward the girl twin, always comparing her to Emma. See how she's already calling one of the boys her mini Emma. I think that comparison will stop soon, as he grows and becomes his own little person.
She'll always be comparing milestones for sure, but I actually think that two boys are the best that could have happened to them.

These boys hopefully will get more in person interactions from the parents, rather than looking at them/talking to them through the camera

I thought that was one of the best videos. Genuine and real.
Rachelle was totally zonked on morphine. But she wasn't complaining - she got up and walked and did whatever the nurses asked of her. For any of you that also follow Phil and Alex, imagine what Alex after her (likely) c-section would be like! lol!
I feel like they've swapped the babies. Usually (but not always) Baby B is born first via C-section in a twin pregnancy. They might have just assumed that Baby A was born first. And then all the medical staff told them they need to refer to the babies as their pre-natal designation, not their birth order.
Because it now seems that the baby that was born first is the smaller red head that looks like Emma. Which they called Baby A but is the Baby B that went off for the cardiac echo.

It's so confusing, I think it'll be easier when they have names! But I think it'sIVFwarrior wrote:I thought that was one of the best videos. Genuine and real.

A- born smaller, redhead, "looks like justin"
B- born bigger, blonde, "looks like emma"

The first baby that was born was Baby A, they commented on the red hair. This is the one that looks like Justin and Baby B looks like Emma even though he’s blonde.

I count my daughter who was stillborn in members of our family. Just because babies pass away before they’re born doesn’t make them any less our babies or make them not count.131618 wrote:No one come for me lol

Did anyone catch yesterday in her stories she posted a photo of the boys snuggled together I believe in their bassinet in her stories, but a small black box was strategically placed in the center of the screen blocking a part of one twins mouth. That photo has since been deleted and not reposted without the box. I’m wondering if it was a mistake or intentional??
Also I sure hope by “keeping an eye on them since they’re fussy until they fall back asleep” that she isn’t already trying to sleep train and not hold and comfort those days old babies.

I was wondering what that was too. So weird.mamale wrote:Did anyone catch yesterday in her stories she posted a photo of the boys snuggled together I believe in their bassinet in her stories, but a small black box was strategically placed in the center of the screen blocking a part of one twins mouth. I saw that and thought it was probably a mistake. Was really odd.mamale wrote:Did anyone catch yesterday in her stories she posted a photo of the boys snuggled together I believe in their bassinet in her stories, but a small black box was strategically placed in the center of the screen blocking a part of one twins mouth. Of course she is. Remember how she used to keep Emma up in the day to force her to sleep at night (which isn’t how babies work anyway)

I honestly think she will give them like 10 minutes and stick their dummies in I think they will already be combi feeding with formula instead of her bf on demand and expressing on a schedule. She hasn't sought out any advice on twin feeding and won't persevere now she's got the babies and struggling. I give it a few days before they're not breastfed at allmamale wrote:Did anyone catch yesterday in her stories she posted a photo of the boys snuggled together I believe in their bassinet in her stories, but a small black box was strategically placed in the center of the screen blocking a part of one twins mouth. Lazy bitch is too lazy to file the baby’s fingernails? Looks like he (baby on left) already scratched himself.

I immediately thought she had blacked out a pacifier so she wouldnt get comments on itmamale wrote:Did anyone catch yesterday in her stories she posted a photo of the boys snuggled together I believe in their bassinet in her stories, but a small black box was strategically placed in the center of the screen blocking a part of one twins mouth. It was a glitch on the picture itself. Before the box went black it showed some sort of image so I managed to hold it down at that exact second and it was just the same picture in a tiny box, so I think it just posted weird somehow or maybe an animated filter glitched somehow.kerenkrazyeyes wrote:I immediately thought she had blacked out a pacifier so she wouldnt get comments on itmamale wrote:Did anyone catch yesterday in her stories she posted a photo of the boys snuggled together I believe in their bassinet in her stories, but a small black box was strategically placed in the center of the screen blocking a part of one twins mouth. Honestly it’s disgusting how her work ethic picks up when she sees an opportunity to make money off her children. The countdown boxes and all on Instagram
Also what is the point of the twin bassinet if she’s just going to practice unsafe sleeping and have them both in one side of it

I feel she has a stronger bond with baby B because he looks like Emma and she isn’t bonding with baby A because he looks like Justin.

Baby B was the only one she got good pictures of in the ultrasounds. And if I’m not mistaken, the one who sleeps good at night (so far). They made a comment that baby A was up all night in the hospital. She’s going to pawn that one off on Justin so she can sleep.

Why would she block out a paci?
I was thinking it was something with maybe an initial or hint at name?
There’s no reason to be ashamed of pacis I’ve successfully breastfed for over 2 years and still going and he used a paci occasionally. It’s also been proven to lower SIDS risk which will help since she has them sleeping together in a bassinet.

The babies may be easier now since they are only 37 weeks adjusted age. My babies came home in their 36th week and they just cocooned in their swaddles for a few weeks, only waking to eat every three hours. It will get more difficult later.
It’s kind of annoying with her putting all these timed announcements for her children’s birth, to make money. There’s not much to say except it’s slimy and opportunistic. Too bad she didn’t market herself and the twin pregnancy journey at all, she had to wait till her babies were here to sell their story.
