I’m actually surprised they are kind of cute. Emma was not cute from the moment she entered the world. I wonder once they get some fat on them and the red hair becomes more prominent on Ashtray if the cuteness will go away. Honestly what hurts Emma the most is that god awful Rachelle nose so I’m glad to see Sandwich at least escaped without that gene.

She seems not disconnected as I thought she would be. God those names though.

I think they were also having a go at Phil and Alex by highlighting how clean they kept the hospital room. They really did, which is ironic because their bedroom at home is normally a mess.

But I think she wanted to stir up a comparison because we all know Phil and Alex will have shit strewn all over their hospital room by Day 2 like a pigsty. So Rachelle wants to make sure some criticism is deflected to someone else.

Okay y’all I know I’m gonna sound dramatic but Rueben is my absolute least favorite name in the history of names. It’s literally disgusting to me, like absolutely revolting lol. Justin said the name Reuben and I got a lump in my throat like I was going to vomit and had to pause the video and walk away. I know it’s just my own personal experience with the name so nothing against the baby himself lol but I was NOT expecting R&J to pick my least favorite name on planet earth. Like I literally get nauseous thinking of this name I might actually stop watching them. I’d name my child Adolf Osama Trump before ever even uttering the name Reuben. I know I am absolutely laying on the dramatics but I seriously could throw up thinking about it. Sorry to anyone who knows a Rueben. I’d rather MARRY Justin than name my child Rueben.

Asher is fine. Reminds me of How To Get Away With Murder and he’s fun and goofy and it’s cute.

But Asher and Rueben TOGETHER? Literally what the fuck. Emma and Asher sounds GREAT. What the FUCK is Reuben.

Okay I’m chill again. Hope y’all don’t think I’m crazy I’m not like this about names ever except Reuben lol. And it does NOT fit in their family.

There was a lame name reveal. Couldn’t they have waited till they got home, better lighting? No cute name tiles this time to spell out the boys names either.

We all know Emma’s reaction is going to be zero, so no need to watch tomorrow’s vlog. I checked the trending page but they are already off it.

My daughter is a Brynn, so naturally I quite like Brynn Caroline. Typing it now, I kind of wish we had considered Caroline for a middle name, but it doesn't have any family significance for us and I like to use family names for middle names. The middle name we went with is similarly old-fashioned and feminine. I was curious to hear the twin boy names as I'm interested in how people choose names. Brynn is a little unusual and I don't know too many, so I was curious if we have similar baby name favorites. We briefly considered Emma, but it has become way too popular for me.

I like Asher/Ascher, and I think it goes well with the girls' names (Brynn, Emma, Asher). Reuben is just so completely out of left field, even though apparently Asher and Reuban are both Hebrew. It's like they were looking at a list of Old Testament names (which have become more popular lately) and somehow found Reuban and thought it was in the same vein as Seth, Jonah, Noah, Caleb, Elijah, Aaron etc. but less popular and "undiscovered." Except it just doesn't have any charm or appeal to me because of the sandwich connotation.

Makes me curious what their girl names were if the twins had been girls...

The two middle names thing seems self-important. Pick one like the rest of us. Unless you go by your middle name, most people barely use it anyways.

When Rachelle said they are a family of 6 because she counts Brynn....is that common among loss moms? I've only heard her and Joan say it. I buy into the thought that I will hopefully get to meet my own angel baby one day but I've never had the mindset to count them as members of our family

That's a tough one...

I won't judge anyone that counts their stillborn babies. Then again, I'm biased seeing as my first baby died during labor. I count her, and I can't imagine just pretending she didn't exist. She died, but she was still my baby. Always my baby.
