She seriously needs those things you can get from occupational therapists! Things that auto off the stove and taps after a certain time!!!

Also surely you get several red letters before your power and water get your supply cut!?

Not only did Ruby flood the house but she forgot to pay the water/electric bill.

I thought at a time like we’re in now they weren’t going to shut anything off. Maybe it’s just my city.

I was waiting for Ruby to cry. She cries for the stupidest things but only started to cry when Kevin explained that it could have been way worse.

I forgot one thing

What’s it going to take for Kevin to get Ruby checked out for her major forgetfulness??

That’s right he’s absent

How are the kids going to do online school without power? They can't charge their devices, the wifi won't work,...

I can’t feel any sympathy about this tiny flooding ordeal that has happened to a ridiculously rich family who has enough money to tear apart a perfectly good backyard, bathroom, etc to suit exactly what Ruby wants. It hardly causes any trouble for them to get the damage fixed.

I literally can’t believe she forgot to pay the bills and they had their utilities turned off.... those kids must not feel any kind of reliability or security from their parents when their mom leaves water running and doesn’t pay the bills. I’d be mad too if I was Kevin and I’m glad he made her feel bad but at the same time maybe if he put an ounce of effort into running his own household he’d be aware of some of this before it gets so bad instead of expecting his wife to do it all. I think they’re both idiots.

If one of the kids had done that, she would have killed them...but she gets to go on a walk. Kevin needs to take her to a Neurologist. She has something very wrong or is flat out stupid as they come. On another note, I bet she doesn’t let the kids to use google because they will find this site and see what the actual world really thinks of their moron Griffiths mom and uninvolved dad.

So Ruby gets their power and water shut off for days, then proceeds to flood the entire house while she lounges in the bath and vlogs for the day. Of course, it's all self-affirmative "I'm not in trouble", "I'm not worthless or stupid", "It's just a mistake" when she does something wrong that is going to effect a lot of people, not just herself. Then, her kids do something minor like forget to bring their homework in the house or to pack a lunch, and Ruby flies off the handle and it's all about how they did it on purpose and chose to do something wrong and have to suffer for it. I hope next time her kids forget something minor that isn't going to hurt anyone, that before Ruby throws them under the bus she remembers when she nearly destroyed the entire house and let her family go without water or power for days, and how Julie forgave her and asked her to go for a walk instead of treating her like a criminal for forgetting something.

How did they have to go without power for days? Here if it gets shut off, you can make a payment over the phone, and it's back on. And about the companies not shutting things off because of the virus, I think where I am, you have to call and let them know that you have issues paying your bill. But I could be wrong. And in Utah, they don't have a statewide order to stay home, so things might be different.

Once again Ruby does something that affects many, with no consequences for her. I haven't watched the whole vlog yet, but I think it is time for Kevin to set some boundaries. She needs to be treated like an incompetent person. Someone needs to supervise everything she does, this woman is dangerous. It's pointless to say hopefully she learns some forgiveness and compassion for her kids. Her stupid, "the truth is....blah, blah, blah," just go stick yourself in a corner, Ruby, and think about how horrible you are to your kids, but they continue to put up with you. Of course, the one mostly affected is Chad, the one she can't ever forgive. Julie has so much more compassion than Ruby could ever have in her little pinkey, and yet she will judge her kids harshly until the day she dies.

By the way, for those that do not know, this isn't the first time she's caused major damage to their home. She left the stove on with a pot of beans and left the house. This resulted in smoke/smell damage, and they had to have their entire kitchen redone. Their homeowners insurance will go up again if they are going to go through it for repairs. She shows the box under the sink, indicating how high the water went, not realizing that cardboard will absorb the water, so even if it had been sitting in 1" of water, the water line will show higher on the box because it will absorb it. However, it is clear there was a lot of water, and it's not going to be just a matter of sopping it up with towels (was Abby really using her new towels to clean up Ruby's mess?). It is in the ceiling, baseboard and drywall, and they will probably need to replace a lot of it to prevent mold from growing. She is so pathetic how she sits there telling her story, once again, giving a play by play like she's cute. Kevin should take a cue from Bonnie and Joel and give Ruby the silent treatment for a week for punishment. Her new name is Ruby Ruins Everything.

I do wonder if this was hyped up for the vlog. If Kevin is too checked out to have already taken steps, he better take the checkbook and bills away from Ruby, now. Those are the consequences for being absentminded, Ruby.

I think she did it on purpose... she “accidentally” burned the old kitchen to get her brand new white kitchen. She was said she wanted to redo that laundry room now what do ya know she “accidentally” leaves the water running and now poof she will get her new laundry room. It must be her way of getting Kevin on board for these remodels. Like oops ... well now that we need to fix it we might as well redo it.

She needs to take that plank out of her eye so she can take the sawdust from her children"s eyes. Start taking responsibility for herself before she thinks she can judge her kids.
How can you believe that it's okay to punish small children for not packing lunch or being behind on homework or leaving a bit of a mess in a car when you do so much worse on a regular basis?

I agree that Kevin is equal to Ruby and needs to engage more when it comes to his children and their family life. But he also works and has a stay at home wife with "self sufficient children". He should at least feel that he can trust his wife with the bills. I also recall that she prefers to handle and dictate finances in their family.
I don't know how it works in the states, but theres a process before anything gets turned off here. They'll send you invoices and reminders and it's only when you ignore an amount of these that they turn anything off. Has she ignored the bills maybe, or does she suffers from something like many of you have mentioned in older threads?

I get the same vibe from all the Griffiths girls. The are very self-absorbed and seem very clueless and actually like air-heads. At times, Ruby comes off legit crazy. I would like to hear someone’s opinion of her that knows her but isn’t necessarily her “friend.” He whole closet video gave me a creepy feeling about Ruby. Then today’s video just hammered the nail in to how I felt yesterday. I know we all make mistakes and can be forgetful but Ruby is the epitome of forgetfulness and I think it truly boils down to she is so focused on herself that she can’t see anything else. Like someone mentioned before, lights and water don’t just get turned off by missing one bill. I have never been in the situation but my brother has been and he was contacted multiple times via mail and an electric company employee even came to his house. I could understand if she had a lot on her plate but what does she really do all day everyday? Think about it....

She rarely cooks.
She doesn’t do her children’s’ laundry.
She doesn’t work a job outside of the home.
She doesn’t drive her children to school.
When the kids are in school she doesn’t pack their lunches.
She isn’t driving kids to extracurricular activities.
She doesn’t edit the vlogs anymore.
She doesn’t help her children with school.
She has suspended RubyDo production.
She obviously isn’t paying the bills.

I’m sure I’m missing things. She might clean a little but the kids do the bulk of the cleaning. She writes on her book and does her schooling, I guess. There is truly no reason for her not paying their bills. I guess the mail probably gets treated like the pile of kids homework and papers. She just piles it up until it becomes too much and she tosses it.

I assume her account t is online. I am surprised she doesn’t have an automatic payment set up.

I can't believe how many people still look up to Ruby as a mom (of all things) after always admitting that she barely takes care of her kids (not cooking for them, not waking up at the same time as them to make sure they have are clean/have good hygiene, not helping them with homework, the list goes on for eternity) Prime example -> in today's vlog, she word for word says, "I have not made breakfast for my family in a long time" and "I haven't gotten up early in a long time." Even though the kids school scedule start at 9? I bet Ruby wakes up at 12 in the afternoon. Also, I have a feeling Ruby attracts other lazy mothers, they probably look up to her and they are like, "Guess I'm not half bad if Ruby decides not to cook food for her 6 and 9 year old!!" She's setting an awful example of what a mother should be like, and a bunch of idiots follow her thinking she's amazing.

I'm just gonna put all my complaints into one post so I apologize for it being long.

Ruby showing others that she washed two dishes when she knows her kids do the chores 99.9% of the time Ruby doesn't do them is sickening.

Also, she walked past one of the kids cameras without any pants on? Wtf is wrong with her?

And she flooded the house all for what? A couple seconds of useless footage? She's taken this YouTube thing toooo far once again and she still doesn't think it's a problem! Ruby, people have said this before and I'll say it again (even though I highly doubt any common sense will get into that little brain of yours) PUT THE STUPID CAMERA DOWN!!!

Ruby, you shouldn't feel like a loser, you ARE a loser!!!! And if your gonna be focusing on the truth, just know that you ARE stupid and sometimes you ARE useless, especially when you willingly choose not to help out your kids.

I think Ruby needs to be sent away to Anasazi to learn responsibility. Although that will never happen it would serve her right to have nothing and make her get off her lazy pampered ass and actually do something. She obviously reads this thread, as she made a weak attempt to make breakfast for her kids and do a few dishes to make it look like she is parenting (I'm using that term loosely) because so many of us are pointing out the truth about her laziness, and her piss poor parenting skills. She needs help and she just won't admit it, her narcissistic personality believes she is perfect and can do no wrong.
