God you’re all amazing and right about everything!

I actually watched yesterday’s video and YIKES. Homegirl is looking thin but worn out, and displaying EVERY classic and cliche divorce sign. Weight loss, redecorates, newfound/pretend optimism, sudden investment in kids, and concern about money.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Her epiphanies about over shopping aren’t real - she just CANT afford it anymore (despite what she says) because she’s divorced now and her sponsorships are drying up. Her video views are lower than ever because of her channel split. She might not be BROKE yet but she’s heading there, and I think she finally realizes it. Instead of admitting it, gotta suddenly embrace that minimalism!

Guys I didn’t get a new purse because I’m a MINIMALIST not because I’m on a budget! Because I totally COULD afford it, I’m just better than you and a pure minimalist!!

Funny how Elle only realized recently that she has a shopping addiction. This was discussed here for so long and also pointed out in her comments which she labeled as bullying. This how self aware she really is. Anyway, this just makes her future soul Sundays more interesting.

Y'all it's getting really eerie...

In my personal life I know a chick just like Elle. Shopping addiction, married for NOT love, gloms onto anyone showing her a modicum of friendly attention that may have something to offer her, but god forbid she not find any use for you(that was me, I'm too laid back to deal with someone so high-strung so I tried to keep things casual because she was my partner's best friend but she turned and treated me like dirt and caused nothing but problems for my partner and I), and presents this borderline-neurotic perfect life...she was my partner's "like a sister" best friend for over ten years. Her wedding was a SHITSHOW, she threw a huge fit over her husband-to-be's MOTHER just being in attendance!
They didn't even make it to their first anniversary before she cheated. With my partner. Ask me how fun my 2020 has been

Does Elle have any male best friends? I don't really see any cause to suspect she's cheated, but I'm seeing a lot of parallels between my partner's affair partner and Elle so I don't think it's so far fetched

First of all, I’m SO sorry you went through that! Holy moly what a shitshow.

I often wonder if Elle is having an affair. She doesn’t seem to be interested in men or romantic relationships at all, but I suppose that when you’re curating your entire life it would be easy to just leave that part out!

You won't miss anything (unless you like her rambling on for over a minute about how she doesn't show toilet cleaning because when SHE watches cleaning videos she thinks its wierd to watch someone clean their toilet)

A couple of notable things...

She stole the fifth chair back from Dan's apartment so the 'where's Dan's chair?' comments can stop.

One more thing. I noticed the way she stands in this video. Someone here mentioned before that in all of her photos she is in awkward positions trying to make it look like she's got a huge thigh gap. The way she moves and stands in this video (even at 2x speed) it seems like she's always aware of where the camera is and stands with her feet slightly apart or askew to show that thigh gap. Man it must be so tiring to be her.

I'm so sorry that happened to you! I don't even understand why people would pursue a marriage then just wreck it with an affair. Just don't get married.

Elle has always been school girl crushing other men that gives her the teensiest amount of attention. We don't really know if she has someone else but for sure she eyed men when she was with Dan.

Did anyone notice that Elle plugged in a phone charger on her side of the bed but not “Dans side” she also blocked off the entrance to dans jerk off corner with the play tent. That tells me he’s not around to access that space. She was also clearly very careful about where she filmed in their bathroom because it’s clear that dans shit isn’t there anymore. Let’s be honest, there is NO logical explanation for dans side of the closet being empty, why the fuck would her clothes be there but not his? She can cover her tracks all she wants, but she seriously slipped once and now we all know. Stupid Elle

I had to watch after you said she claimed her house was small. It’s larger than average particularly for the gta area. There are many bungalows, townhouse, or semi-detached homes that are significantly smaller. She has a 4+ bedroom - each kid has their own bedroom plus the master - and at least 2+ bathrooms including an en-suite (the powder room between the main floor and basement counts as a half I think). She has an eat-in kitchen AND an island. A ‘playroom’, office and living room all on one floor - and reasonable sized.

I believe her garage in the back is a 2-car but I’m not sure.

Her yards may be small but she is delusional to call her house small?

Honestly - this seems ridiculous to me. What size house is she looking for? Particularly since they’re mainly living off of Dan’s income. He may be well-paid but he wouldn’t be crazy rich.

Anyway, back to Elle. I have definitely been noticing all the singular possessive statements lately. I, my. In the SHOPPING ADDICTION vlog she mentioned she was really watching her finances lately and I’m like, why?? Dan is an essential service worker and you work from home 150 hours a week. Why are finances so tight, hmmmmm??? Oh right, maybe because you’re in the process of divorce and that includes separating finances and working out new financial agreements. You need to figure out a way to keep paying your mortgage!

OK. New theory. Elle needing to deep clean, full clean, completely rip apart and redo the ENTIRE HOUSE constantly is because she feels completely out of control in her life and by constantly "deep cleaning" and changing paint colours, decor, ect. it gives her some semblance of control. I know when I have things that I'm trying to avoid I try to find ANYTHING to not have to do that thing. I'm getting better with it. Elle on the other hand I see spiraling and trying to cover it up with cleaning videos.

That or she literally doesn't have anything else she CAN show us because her marriage is in shambles and her kids are way too much for her to handle

Definitely agree that the obsessive cleaning and redecorating is a control issue for Elle...not only to quiet the demons, but also to mark her territory on that house.

My husband doesn’t care about decor. BUT he’s still active in our home. His late mothers painting hangs in the hall. His childhood photos are on the buffet table. The cabinet from his older brother is in our guest room. I chose our “style” but he’s involved in home improvement projects and decorating our home. I would never think to randomly paint some furniture or door without telling him. Not to ask permission, but because it’s his home too.

Imagine being Dan (if he still lives there lol). You come home and god knows what color things will be. Is there a new dollar store plastic taped pantry? Or $1000 chairs in the dining room? Or a pink door? Or is everything moved into the basement? Or some new tacky wallpaper? Poor dude CANT feel at home there.

So Elle replied re: saying her house is small. She said it's in the context of it's hard to film good angles in the rooms. I had to watch this video to confirm. She clearly stated while in the kitchen:

"I'd like top have a really uncluttered counter top especially because my house is fairly small. And I'm certainly blessed and grateful to have a home but it is a fairly small home and it is open concept and the kitchen is literally the centre of my whole house so it's a real focal point."

No mention of video angles there. Also, while she replied she loves that her house is small, other homes in her area are bigger. Why does she have to constantly compare? She has a fairly large home in GTA. It fits her family with tons of extra room.
