It really varies from person to person. I hated the newborn stage. Of course, I loved getting to know my baby, but I literally counted the days to get past that stage. My daughter is 2 now and I love this age. I know I’ll miss her early days but I love the thought of watching her grow up.wonderwall99 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 12:03 pmCompletely agreed. There's this unspoken magic in those first 2 months with a newborn. Last summer with my son was honestly exhausting and I remember waiting for my husband to get home from work and the anxiety before bed wondering what the night would be like but the days were spent with a tiny little newborn napping on the swing in the backyard and going out for lunch with my mom and bringing him along in the carseat and taking evening strolls in the park. Everything felt so wonderful with a newborn, even the scary moments. They're so filled with a softness and ease that I have never felt before. If I could relive last summer I would. And now that we are approaching the 1 year birthday mark I'm so emotional. So I can understand wanting them to be tiny and little forever because we never get these days back. But I am also one who looks forward to the future and all the wonderful milestones that are to come.Elliecat wrote:I wouldn’t read too much into the wanting them to stay little thing. It’s a turn of phrase.
I’m due next week and I’m already sad that the newborn days will go so fast. With my first, he was in the NICU for a a few weeks and the first few weeks at home were so difficult that it was all a blur.
With my daughter, I clung to each moment and loved those newborn days (and nights) with a passion. I took so many pictures and relished her tiny days. As she grew out of newborn clothes, I shed tears.
It will be the same again this time. I love the way they are so needy and small and fragile. I love establishing breastfeeding and learning about each other. It goes way too fast.
Of course want them to grow up and be healthy. But we also want the tiny baby stage to last forever because it is magical and with subsequent babies we know how much we will miss it when it’s gone.

I think as parents it's natural to want to stay in the newborn or baby phase for as long as you can. But time goes on.
I think the issue is that these YouTubers love the newborn stage so much they have x amount of kids that they didn't even want because it's so cute and adorable. Thats the problem

Ok, currently watching today's upload and I'm just curious. I'm not a mom and I don't know much about babies.. but when Rachelle is pushing the twins in the stroller the top baby is covered up and the bottom is wearing a short sleeve one piece and not covered.. I thought babies that young had to stay covered up? Like they're so tiny and what might be warm to us might be cold to them? Please correct me if I'm wrong.. I just feel like if your going to cover one, the other should be as well... Idk though.

I was thinking the same thing. Why would you cover one baby with a blanket but not the other? I always had a blanket over my babies when they were tiny. I was always taught to dress your baby in one more layer than you wear.littlemiss_sunshine wrote:Ok, currently watching today's upload and I'm just curious. As far as the not wanting them to grow up, I don't know that I think it's weird. I'm a baby person, always have been. Toddlers make me a nervous wreck lol. I don't have kids of my own but I've been caring for children and babies since I was like 11(yep the neighbor across the ally routinely left her baby as young as 3 months in my care at 11. I loved it then but it boggles my mind now. Parents of the year there lol). I've always loved when they are tiny and cuddly. Even with my own nephews, I just loved that newborn stage. If I could have like 5 years of the baby stage and then jump to an elementary school age I'd do it lol.
But mostly I think it's a just a figure of speech, for wanting time to slow down. I don't think she literally means she wants them to be babies forever.

Is she supposed to be driving? Wasn’t she just saying in the previous vlog that she was taking pain killers?
Oh wait.. I’m sorry. Her mom and husband both needed naps and couldn’t drive her to a doctor’s appointment.
Wouldn’t want to even imagine the damage that could have been done to her stomach with the seat belt in an accident.

Their twin paycheck is going to be a flop.
They cant do all the friends/family meeting the twins, taking the twins places for the “first time”, no day in the life type ones as we know she has help at home with justin home from school.
She couldnt even do a meeting emma vlog properly. She didnt vlog her mom meeting them either - that could make good vlog footage.

Also - shes driving already - what the actual fuck.
Its six weeks here for a csection. Insurance doesnt cover you otherwise.

post partum headaches are a thing, and they’re awful. i had them myself. now, I think rash is definitely playing it up for views, but she may truthfully have headaches.Audrey240 wrote:This woman is seriously complaining about a headache. Give me a break and grow the fuck up. It’s just a headache, snort some more meth and you’ll be fine. I’ve suffered from migraines my whole life, and she’s complaining about “postpartum headaches” I’ve never heard of those. Must be making it up for sympathy.

and snorting meth...? a bit extreme, and you don’t snort meth...but uh okay

That isn’t always true. After my c section, my son was in the NICU out of area and I had to move into accommodation nearby. I rang my insurance company and they said they had no limit on when I could drive again, as long as I was able to do an emergency stop.Haulnarse wrote:Also - shes driving already - what the actual fuck.

Omg their last vlog at the end. She literally leans over Reuben, ignores him while he is widely awake and kisses Asher only! And talks about how he grew up so much, but nothing about Reuben who actually didn't gains much weight at all.
I feel so bad for the guy

I feel sick to my stomach watching that part. ive never called her ungrateful before but man is she ever! reuben is healthy and and wide awake looking at her and she completely ignores him. there are so many women out there who would love and care for that baby as there own. that is unbelievable. kiss and love that child trashymikanai wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 8:02 pm Omg their last vlog at the end. The beginning of postpartum depression maybe? Showing indifference seems like a big red flag but I'm not an expert by any means.dasilvaasamanthaa wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 8:34 pmI feel sick to my stomach watching that part. ive never called her ungrateful before but man is she ever! reuben is healthy and and wide awake looking at her and she completely ignores him. there are so many women out there who would love and care for that baby as there own. that is unbelievable. kiss and love that child trashymikanai wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 8:02 pm Omg their last vlog at the end. Plus if she's missing hunger cues and not dressing them properly.... This isn't her first time so you'd think she's at least notice the hunger cues.
But wtf is with them never putting enough clothes on their kids?? Emma was just in a diaper AGAIN in the last vlog. For a while, too. RACHELLE, WE'VE TALKED ABOUT THIS. CLOTHE YOUR KIDS.

And she didn't even need to be there in person. She did a fuckin virtual consult? Just sitting in her car in the car park on skype with the doctor. Completely pointless to drive there. Does she not know doctors are doing virtual consults as much as possible and it was a big possibility?Ld5 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 5:29 pm Is she supposed to be driving? I would've asked before I traveled all the way there.
Plus she said she was exhausted. She definitely shouldn't have been driving. Pain killers + exhaustion fucks your brain and you can't function as well as you normally do, even if you think you're okay. Trust me. And mornings can be the most painful time when you're recovering from something like surgery, so I'm sure she'd medicated herself already.
We know she's an idiot but I feel like she just proves it in the vlogs over and overrrr! Like every dang video.

Anyone notice that she packed away that toy justin made emma, the one on wheels and the ring stacking thing. Neither of which emma has ever played with
I also dont get why she wouldn't want those toys to be used by all her children? I highly doubt justin has the motivation to make more

So she drove all the way to the doctors office just to do it over the phone? Seems kinda pointless but whatever.
I cant say anything about her driving because i drove myself, my son and his dad home from the hospital 4 days after my csection (plus broken ribs)..i have no clue what the heck was wrong with my sons dad but he was seriously driving like he was drunk i had to make him pull over so i could drive
I dont understand her dressing the babies differently either...which one had the banket?
Why do you guys think she didnt record her moms reaction? Just lazy? Or maybe the first thing she said was something like "oh god rachelle i told you you should have used donor embryos" (im totally kidding...i think the babies are cute enough). If you guys can tell the twins apart why the heck cant her mom? Im terrible at that stuff but i feel like considering they have different color hair it wouldnt be too hard in person up close.
Anybody know if Shes still breastfeeding/pumping? I got the worst headaches when i was pumping but i started drinking more water and it helped so i think it was just dehydration...not sure how that works with breastfeeding/pumping

She just has to remind the handful of new subscribers

If she complains ONCE, one time - gosh darn - she has had four children in three years. Her clinic need to review their policies.
