I could be wrong but I think it's pretty common to have your kid at least help pay for their mission trip or at least that's what happened with fellow YouTubers phillipsfambam. Their son got a job to help pay for the mission he's currently still on.

Yeah but what would happen if a kid didn't want to go on a mission trip, are they still required to pay for it? I could understand it if 8 Passengers wasn't on YouTube and didn't have 2 million followers allowing them to rake up tons of money, which should be shared with all of the kids. Because, as we've seen before, videos that showcase Ruby and only Ruby don't make nearly as many views as the ones with her kids. (The biggest example would be the videos about Chad and the ones showing him coming back from Anasazi). Chad clearly wasn't given even half of that money made from those videos even though he clearly should've. I could understand if Ruby held onto it to give to him later bit by bit to put into savings/mission trip/college (because kids aren't the most responsible with money) but Ruby and Kevin spent it on a selfish trip to BVI and all of Ruby's clothes that she didn't "buy" this year, as well as getting her eyebrows done, and her hair bleached. All from the money her kids made. Ruby should get it into her head that no one gives a flying crap about "What she ate in a day" or that "She's going back to 'school' " because none of her videos make nearly as much revenue as the ones where she exploits her kids.

I was watching Shari's new video on her channel where her and Chad react to the really old 8 Passengers vids. It's so weird seeing Ruby be a normal mother back then who truly seems like she loves her kids compared to how she is now as a narcissistic psychotic bitch.

Just watched Ruby’s IG story from tonight. She runs into Eve who she says has been gone all day and she even missed eating dinner with the family. Apparently letting a 6 yr old ride her bike all over the neighborhood unattended is acceptable to Ruby. All I can say is WOW Ruby you couldn’t care less if some pedophile kidnapped your kid or a sex trafficker happened to be prowling your neighborhood in search of a young girl to scoop up. What the F@CK is wrong with her???

As a parent seeing and hearing that Ruby was perfectly fine with her 6 yr old daughter riding her bike around the neighborhood most of the day without supervision makes me sick. Like wtf! And Eve also was not wearing a helmet. Ruby needs to get a f-ing grip before something truly terrible happens to one of her kids.

I was shocked that they were on a family walk and the dog wasn't on a leash. I know there probably weren't many cars going by at that moment but still put that pup on a leash just to be safe.

It was also interesting to recognize the differences between 6 year Julie and 6 year Eve while watching Shari and Chads reaction video.
While 11 year old Julie seems to be an already grown up for at least 5 years, 6 year old Eve stucks at a toddler stage.
No one can be blamed for this but Ruby (&Kevin).
This imbalance was sad to watch.

And I agree with all of you, that it's wrong to allow Eve to be outside that long on her own.
I'm all for letting kids grow independent and explore the world on their own BUT not on a bicycle without a helmet and not when you're part of a YouTube family.
Everyone knows how Eve is looking like, knowing her name and with what treats and toys she's likely to be lured. And it is easy to find out where they exactly living.

Or Ruby knows all the risks and is waiting for dramatic content to be happened.

Imagine having a problem with your kids using electronics for school since they can’t go to school?!? What are these kids supposed to do during the day? They can’t watch tv, they can’t use gaming systems, they can’t use their computers, Ruby has thrown away almost all of their things, the yard is a mess so if the older kids want to play sports they can’t. All that leaves is reading and staring at each other all day long. I have a co-worker with young kids and she’s basically relaxed all of her rules. The kids get a little more screen time, movies are okay during the day, and they have extra activities and art supplies.

The list in chads bathroom makes me uncomfortable. I can’t believe he is still being punished. It’s been almost a year since he left and Ruby still has an iron grip on him.

Geez. This is sad. He had more freedom at Anassazzi (sp?). I wonder if Ruby took some points from her own, "don't manipulate...." and if Shari has one as well to include, "don't parent and boss sibling..." oops, can't make this requirement of Shari, she is expected to do those things.

Since Ruby had to show Chad knocking down Russell and Eve's house, she could have also shared him rebuilding it, as I'm sure he was expected to do. No, instead she has to leave only him knocking it down and Russell walking off upset with Eve. Way to make Chad out to be a dick, Ruby!

Also, I hope Ruby refrains from spending money on herself with brows, lashes and hair. I would see the kids having some kind of outlets as more important than her wanting to look pretty. A pool table is a great bonding game for the family, the cost of her beauty enhancement services would cover the cost of the table in a year. Considering Ruby and Kevin took the trip without the kids, and there will be no vacation for the kids this year, they should treat them to something, afterall, Ruby makes money from YouTube because of the kids.

Does it bother anyone else how they prepare food directly on the counter? I’m talking specifically about food that isn’t being cooked, like sandwiches and things. They will make a sandwich and put the bread directly on the counter instead of a dish or a cutting board. The same counter that they let the little kids crawl on top of, I doubt they are washing it between every use. It seriously makes me cringe every time!

I'm glad we all agree on that sign on Chad's mirror. Not being allowed to be alone or watch TV alone is literally insane. Ruby says she USED to be controlling - yeah, right, she's currently the most controlling mother I've ever seen. I wonder if any of the other kids have a list like this.

I am 100% sure that Ruby and Kevin would have still gone on their trip to Jerusalem if their flights and plans were still running as planned, they must have been cancelled and the other family probably had more sense to say no. They would never purposefully cut out their own vacation to save money, much easier to deny their kids hair dye and uncrustables. Of course Ruby's bathroom and Ruby's backyard are already paid for, how convenient for her.

Also, Ruby has confirmed the birds poop everywhere too. So, imagine the birds poop is in the carpet and they are walking barefoot on the carpet and floor, and then the kids are up on the counter. They are just disgusting. Someone defended Bonnie for allowing the kids to be on the counters, saying they are certain she cleans them since she keeps her house so immaculate. Funny thing is, it is while they are prepping, or eating food that the bare feet are on the counters.

They are so freaking illiterate, and Ruby, Bonnie and Ellie all say they are writing books. I sure hope they have good ghost writers, or at least very patient editors.

I have a lot to say about Ruby's new video, so PLEASE forgive me for the ungodly amount of posts. It's just certain subjects need to be talked about separately so I decided to out them in separate posts.

I bet the whole thing with Russell and Eve playing minecraft in real life was all Ruby's idea for the camera. When Ruby asks them which they prefer, they even say the XBox. Guess she can't control their thoughts yet, I bet she wish she could though.

And I know Ruby said she bought these toilet paper/paper towel rolls prior to coronavirus season, but she knows how it looks when people see that title for the video and click on it. Clickbait. I have a question, does watching Ruby's videos on invidious still give her views? I hope not.
