I can’t believe that Ruby was so uneducated and ignorant to the worlds situation. Carrying on about her factory in China no answering emails in Feb/March. Was she not watching any news? Or was it just not shown in America until it hit their and the country was personally affected? Wuhan city was put in lockdown January 28th. She is so self cantered and needs to get out of her bubble of Utah and educate herself on the rest of the world.

She has said and asked really stupid things about other countries in the past but this really takes the cake.

Well this was a boring video. Now that there’s no more Ruby Do I wonder if she will continue to selfishly keep the biggest room in the house for herself as it was meant to be an office for her clothing line. Kevin must go nuts with her jumping from one fad to another pretending each is her life’s purpose, this time it’s all about life coaching (god help us). This clothing line was always an excuse for Ruby to obsess over and buy more clothes and shoes as “research” and for “photoshoots”.
Ok she’s answered my question about her giant “office”, she’s keeping it hers and will fill it with her dumbass life coach books now. Is that downstairs office that they never show Kevin’s? No one this self absorbed should ever have had kids, let alone 6 of them.

Today's video Ruby was talking about her expenses. "I'm being really vulnerable, but we're not making what we used to. We still have money to pay for our home, groceries, and to send our kids to private school, but we can't just go fly out to Europe or go to Disneyland."

WOW, that's so terrible Ruby. You guys are suffering so much. Yes, you have food on your table, an extravagant house, and your kids are going to an expensive private school, but you and Kevin can't fly across the country to go on luxury vacations every week. You're so poor, you suffer so much. You should totally complain and be vulnerable about not making enough revenue to go on your weekly vacations or to keep your ugly clothes brand going, while people watching you are wondering where their next meal is coming from.

But, yeah, that's what privilege looks like. When not being able to go to Disneyland is the extent of your suffering during a pandemic, when thousands of people are out of work and unable to pay for their homes or feed their families.

Quit bitching about groceries, considering you have shared your stockpile of food in the pantry. Do you know there are children who have to depend on schools giving them a packed lunch a couple times a week in this country because without it, they will go hungry. This is REAL....and you think it is cute to talk about your children having to resort to eating Cream of Wheat for lunch. Get off your lazy ass and prepare food for your kids, you have the ability and resources to do so.

Bottom line, quit your whining about your life, you really do not have anything to go on about. You have healthy children, a very nice roof over your head, a husband who is working and your own income from YouTube. Watch how others are struggling and ask yourself if your life is really one to feel sorry for. You've had enough vacations in a couple years to last a lifetime.

Should have watched vlog first.....also, to go on about one business endeavor closing up, when it is one of a few you have going is wrong. There are people with their life savings in 1 small family business who have lost everything. So, Ruby, do you really need others to feel sorry for you over saying goodbye to Ruby Doo?

AND, she sits there whining while sporting freshly done eyelash extensions (I mean spiders, yes, Ruby, they look like giant spiders on your eyes) she must have gotten during the stay at home request. I just can't with this woman!! Yeah, your life coaching is probably filled with telling women to look out for themselves, and nobody else. How can she be a life coach when she is so selfish, does not look out of the box and is a total mess herself.

I think Ruby admitting that she didn't know what was going on in the world is confirmation that many of these vloggers: her sisters and The Skalla sisters (Rachel Parcell), for example, live in a very big bubble and only see outside that bubble when it will directly affect them, i.e. no more vacations.

I wouldn’t call what Bonnie and Ellie we’re doing honest at at all when it came to their clothes being manufactured in China. They went on the trip there and never explained what they were doing it and framed it like it was a vacation. They blocked and deleted anyone who mentioned the word China. They took every step they could to keep their viewers ignorant to where their clothes were actually made.

I completely agree that Ruby is hiding her failed line behind the pandemic. It came out before things got bad in the US. The whole concept of it never made any sense, that there weren’t unique, modest teen options available and everyone was wearing the same thing yet she comes out with a measly 4 unimpressive pieces in a small size range. Of course it was a flop.

Honestly, how can anyone watch ruby's videos and think they're "relatable" ?? Whining about her boring clothes not selling (let's be honest, things probably would have been exactly the same virus or no virus), then acting like they're flat broke or something. They have food, water, clothes, a roof over their heads, the kids all have expensive computers and other electronics, they're constantly remodeling different parts of the house, Kevin still has a real job, the kids attend an expensive private school... but, oh no! We can't go on vacations! Really sick of the life coach thing, too. If people are really struggling, they need an actual doctor/therapist, not some person who read a few books about life coaching. Her videos have already proven that she's a completely terrible life coach anyways.

I have to say, I find it very odd that Ruby is interested in this. After that recent video where she claimed no responsibility and told her kids not to come to her with emotional problems, why on earth does she want to be a life coach and help strangers deal with their feelings? Is she seriously putting random people over her own children?

I rewatched the vlogs to make sure I was remembering correctly, they make it clear they were going to China for business and were also going to treat it as a leisure vacation while they were there. They both say they were inspecting factories to make sure they were using legitimate ones. It’s also the first question answered on the website’s FAQ page which comes up on google but I can’t find a navigation for from their home page. But yes, I agree that they are ridiculous for blocking and deleting comments they don’t like or that give them a bad image. I just think people can really obsess over manufacturing being in China when everything else is made there too anyway, so they probably wanted to avoid it being the only thing people were talking about.
I’m not defending the other two I just think they at least deserve credit for going a step extra than what Ruby did - Ruby both hid where her clothes were manufactured and can’t say she ever went to visit the factories. But I’m by far the most critical of Ruby out of everyone in that family lol so it’s not to say the others are perfect or even good!
