So with all this speculation about gender selection, I have a couple thoughts.....this may be a dumb question, but in order to choose the gender, do you HAVE to go thru IVF Or is there another way?

I’m currently waiting to start my first IVF cycle, obviously once the fertility centers are back open. So I’m aware that with IVF you can opt to do PGS (pre genetic screening) in order to find the healthiest embryos, and also the gender of them but is she able to choose the gender of this baby WITHOUT going thru all this IVF stuff?

I ask this because a girl from high school commented on Facebook about how with her next child she will do IVF in order to have a girl. And I as someone who has no option but to do IVF, cannot comprehend how you’d want to put your body through so many medications and injections just to get a certain gender. I’m absolutely terrified of all the side effects of these things and for these women to willingly put themselves through this, just for a certain gender is crazy to me. It’s such a complete toll on your body that many people probably don’t realize.

Also if she did gender selection thru IVF uhhh then obviously this would have had to be planned. There’s a lot of appointments and planning that would have to go into this before they even did her egg retrieval.

Someone make this make sense. Is there another way to do gender selection without IVF that I just have no clue about?????

I don't understand the speculation about gender selection, only because I highly doubt Brittani would have the patience to go through IVF, even to get a girl. Doesn't it take months of planning? They literally would have to have started the process immediately after Crew died, and I feel like even though it's technically possible, there's just no way that happened.

There may be some way to separate X and Y sperm and then do IUI, but I'm not sure.

Yes they can do sperm separation. For some like Britney who is obviously very fertile sperm separation with artificial insemination (+\- trigger shot to induce ovulation) would have good odds.

She bought that piece of shit 2012 car with 90k miles on it right after aaryn got her almost brand new navigator and Tara got her expedition. She wanted sooooo badly to keep up with the Jones with the big SUV but that’s all she could afford at the time. At one point aaryn said the newer version of that car was her dream car so of course Brittani had to get it. Fast forward to now and being a negligent parent sure is paying off for her. New house. I've also gone through IVF and I'm about to do a second retrieval. I will never understand why some people do it for gender selection but it does happen. A lot of doctors won't do it but if you pay someone enough, I'm sure they would. You can also do gender selection IUI. It's not as accurate as IVF but it does increase your odds for one gender over the other.

Yeah I’ve thought the same thing. With all these moms actually. I have a 1 year old and even though she’s more independent I still sit down with her much of the day to play and teach. I doubt Brittani does that...her 2 year old still had a binky and a diaper

Sperm separation for an IUI is not very reliable and it would still have required several appointments with a fertility specialist. I think the speculation of her doing gender selection is ridiculous. There's another youtuber who's been desperate for Brittani's attention for a long time who swears by the shettles method, she probably did that, if anything.
