He rented the movie and his brother said he'd take it back... like 6 months later his mom called and said he was being accused of larceny. So, he got back and paid the store the money. Then his Dad called him and said the police was looking for him... so, he went to the police department and showed him the receipt that he paid, they didn't care to see it... and arrested him, then took him to the other county. He was put in front of a judge, who was like "I don't know why the store is trying to use the police for this" and put a $1000 bond on him, he just had to sign out. So, he paid the bill and the store still went after him. He never mentioned the name. Just that it was a grocery store that rented movies. Kinda stupid for them to charge THAT much for a movie you forgot to return... even whats that thing called??? Redbox?? They charge the price of the movie, and that's that.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 7:26 pmWow. That's ridiculous. There is another family that reminds me of them: Mommyof3XO. They don't seem to have a thread. All they do is film themselves at the mall shopping, and then film haul videos to show off all the crap they bought. And of course they all have to have the latest iPhones.
Why do people watch these families? Do they wish their families were like the fake ones on YT? Because it's apparent that most of the hardcore fans believe it's all real.

Re: The Weiss Life
Blockbuster and those types would just charge your credit card for the purchase price of the movie.
So this was an old arrest? They must be scrambling for content.
Ugh. Why do these terrible people have all these blessings? All those beautiful daughters and the only thing they can seem to think of is "let's put them on YouTube and make a bunch of money!"
I loathe most family vloggers, if you can't tell, lol. Not jealous-- wouldn't trade lives with them for anything. But I can't wait for the day when the law catches up with technology, and these kids turn around and sue their parents for a share of the money they earned. Because nobody would tune in just to watch the parents.

Re: The Weiss Life
I wanna say he said it happened in 1999, but... I can't quite remember. I don't know why family vloggers are the way they are... it'd be nice to have them all see a psychiatrist and have their heads examined, see what's going on up there. Especially the ones who exploit their kids a ton, and are constantly showing their kids in the bathtub, or wrapped in towels, on the toilet, or just in undies... it's like they're screaming "hey pedo's come watch my kid/s" like wtf is wrong with them??? Parents should want their children to stay innocent and out of the eye of sickos like that. Not hand them to them on a silver platter.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 8:26 pm Blockbuster and those types would just charge your credit card for the purchase price of the movie.

And yet another YouTuber profiting off the coronavirus and likely spreading misinformation.
You should take it seriously. You should wash your hands a lot, don't touch your face, and respect the personal space bubble.
You don't need to stockpile toilet paper and water. It's not a blizzard or hurricane, ffs. Masks are for infected people.
I just can't handle these people clickbaiting and making money off of a worldwide health crisis.

Re: The Weiss Life
I can see buying enough food etc, for the 2 week isolation period, if you are put under isolation... but, these people taking 20 packs of toilet paper from Costco... is it the apocalypse? Even if there was an apocalypse, I don't think I would be stocking up on TP. Antibacterial soap, hand sanitizer, and a bat... to hit the people who don't freakin cover their damn mouths with they cough/sneeze! That's all I need.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 6:23 pm And yet another YouTuber profiting off the coronavirus and likely spreading misinformation.

Re: The Weiss Life
Regular soap and a good hands scrub work just fine it's a virus not a bacteria so no need for "antibacterial soap"! Although I get that the hand sanitizer is useful for when you're outside the house, but soap has been shown more efficient and should be used as the first choice!
I also agree they're using this coronavirus opportunity for profits... at least youtube gave me an advertisement under their video for the right information about (it was a link to canada's government website page about the coronavirus, yes I'm canadian haha)

Re: The Weiss Life
Do they actually have Covid-19? Or is it clickbait?
Maybe if they stayed home and weren't always shopping for clothing for every little thing, they wouldn't have gotten sick!
All these YouTubers making money off this situation make me so angry....

I haven't watched the video... but, they self isolated themselves, so... I highly doubt they have Covid-19, it's probably clickbait, like every other youtuber is doing. I really hope karma doesn't bite these people in the ass with all this Covid-19 clickbait and joking about that they have it. Here I am worried for myself and my family because we have health issues, and these asshole youtubers keep clickbating.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:59 pm Do they actually have Covid-19? Re: The Weiss Life
Just finished watching.. Gabrielle and Mother Weiss (I can't remember her name...) have been running low grade fevers for a few days. and Gabrielle, after Father Weiss (again, I forget his name lol) says they have no other symptoms, says she has a sore throat. And then she sneezes. But, a low grade fever can be anything from a common cold, to allergies... and the rest of the Weiss clan, is fine.ThisIsMeCeej wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 5:05 pmI haven't watched the video... but, they self isolated themselves, so... Re: The Weiss Life
What is it with all these YT families, the father is the one who takes the kids to the doctor all the time? This family, The Rich Life, OKBaby, KKandBabyJ, etc etc... why does the mother never want to go, but then sits there and interrogates the father when they get home? "What did the doctor say?" yada yada yada... and if the father doesn't remember something "well, why didn't you write it down/record/something?!" Well, why didn't YOU go, since you want to know what's wrong so badly?

Re: The Weiss Life
Too late for me to edit... my internet went down for a minute. Not saying Mrs. Weiss (what is her name? lol) interrogated Mr. Weiss (and his name?) in today's vlog... but, I have seen it before and in all the other's vlogs. So, I don't get why they just don't go as well, or instead?

Re: The Weiss Life
This is so wrong. They're gleefully trying to rake in money off of a global health crisis. I thought YT was demonetizing videos about Covid-19.
They didn't actually have it, but did a video implying that they did. Today's video has the mom with that "happy/surprised" open mouth that vloggers practice in the mirror. And they have a whole playlist dedicated to Coronavirus/Covid-19 videos.
One more question: why do they do a freaking Easter special every year, when they DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD? They did a video titled "Why We Don't Believe in God" last year, and changed the title when they got a little grief about it. Yet another vlogger who doesn't have the courage of their convictions. What a shock.

Re: The Weiss Life
I agree with you on everything. And the celebration of Easter, is only because they can have an excuse to celebrate, get toys, get together with family/friends... and eat candy (that they rarely ever get!). Same with Christmas. I'm surprised they don't celebrate other holidays though, as well.. why limit it to just christian holidays? Since they don't believe, you know?lmmomSD wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2020 12:30 pm This is so wrong. They're gleefully trying to rake in money off of a global health crisis. Re: The Weiss Life
I kinda get Christmas. It's been so secularized and it's such a cultural holiday as well as a religious one, so most people in western cultures celebrate it even if they aren't religious. But Easter? It's just silly to me.
I honestly think they do it for views. Just like the Inghams in England. They make this huge deal about Easter, and they definitely aren't religious. But those "Mega Easter Basket Haul! Look at the Money the Easter Bunny Left Us!" videos seem to make good $$.

They're not pregnant, they were planning to try again this year around this time May-July.. but, with Covid-19, they are rethinking, and will get back to their decision in a few months, basically.

Thank God. Anyone who does Easter egg dyeing at the dining room table, then freaks out over the dye spilling, should not keep popping out babies.
