Oh boy, HalPal sharing something that compares the claim of Kansas City requiring the information of church members be on file with the government, being compared to the HOLOCAUST. Girlfriend, those are two totally different things. I don't see anything that proves this whole thing in Kansas City to be true, but even the claim is nothing like the Holocaust. No one there is being murdered for simply being a member of their faith, so I don't see how that was a valid and fair comparison at all. And no single religion is being targeted either.

Because my BYU senior year is coming up, I took a look again at her video from a few years ago about her experience there.

Just a few observations:
1) She seems like a totally different person in that video - less caked in makeup, and dare I say more real/down-to-Earth/less radical?
2) I know so many people who got denied from this school that did WAY MORE than she did with academics, the church, etc. so how in the world did she get admitted?
3) "Don't focus too much on dating, don't focus too much on studying" - Einstein Everts right there (you're only spending thousands of dollars for an education, so you know, don't study too much kids)

It almost seems to me like she saw becoming LDS/going to a church university as some sort of status symbol, and not because it was where her heart guided her. Back then, and still today, seems so focused on the look of being a Latter-day Saint (like how beautiful your wedding pictures are outside the temple and being sOooOOoOOOo modest with garments), while forgetting conveniently the whole idea of being christlike in your words and actions.

The boredom of a day off of work made me look back at her older content, and all it did was re-annoy me thinking about how we're of the same faith

And then her purposeful post today omitting her own mother and any other mother, besides herself, by wishing "a happy day to everyone and I mean everyone"??
She's intentionally unkind in my opinion. A sneaky kind of hurtful. She'll take her mother's money and then turn around and be purposely cruel. She'll never acknowledge or second guess her nasty heart until her daughter turns around and gives her a dose of karma, 20 years from now.

And her post tonight about understanding those who didn't get the attention they see others getting. Hey Haleigh, that's great you can relate to others in their whoe is me sadness. But here's an idea:
Be the bigger person and get off your soap box and ACTUALLY do something for a person whose ACTUALLY RELEVANT in your life.... like say YOUR MOTHER..... And make a fabulous post about her ( you know, like the ones you've apparently seen on social media). Go all out- give her what you'd like. That’s so messed up she’s taking jabs at her mother who has done so much for her. Her mom always comments on her Instagram posts with nothing but love. It’s a shame Haleigh can’t do the same.

I’m convinced she’s going to get pregnant soon if she’s not already. I remember before she got pregnant with Xavier, CJ was adamant about not really wanting more kids and/or waiting. She managed to convince him aka whine until he had a ‘revelation’.

So the past two months have been especially challenging for her...is that because she has to spend 24/7 with a spouse who doesnt like her (and who she obviously doesnt like)? Honestly, the past 2 months with my spouse at home back been great! (You know, minus the terrible virus and everything being shit down.) I get to hang out with my best friend and kids every day. That never happens.

Maybe she threw another lamp at CJ?

Maybe they suddenly cant afford the (30% of their income) mortgage payment on their $300k home. (Which, assuming their mortgage is a about $1,200/month, CJ is making a whopping $45k/year after taking out $300k+ in student loans. )

Or suddenly CJ realized that Haleigh spends a fortune in pyramid scheme make up.

So, will quarantine be the the last straw? Probably not. But perhaps?

I haven't even started watching this new video yet, and the description already has me pissed off. She says emotional eating is a form of binge eating (which is an actual eating disorder that needs treatment) yet she titles part of the video "GROWING DISCIPLINE."

As someone who spent a solid three months in an inpatient hospital unit for treatment for my bulimia/orthorexia, I got to know plenty of other people on the unit who had actual binge eating disorder. Haleigh, that's not something you can just "grow discipline" for. You need, in most cases, professional help to conquer that. Maybe not inpatient hospitalization, but at least a therapist. Telling people with that to be more disciplined will easily turn a binge eater into a dangerously restrictive eater REAL FAST.

She makes a mockery out of eating disorders and the people who suffer from them. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness and she has NO knowledge on the topic to be sharing "advice."
