Yes she has to rest a LOT because she’s been so worried about pre term labor... sounds like a huge excuse. If you have no signs of preterm labor you’re ENCOURAGED to stay active right up until the end of pregnancy. Laying in bed and napping all day is not healthy unless you have a medical reason to be on bed rest.
Re: Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
That's my biggest gripe about Alex (and trust me, there are a LOT). She touts herself as an expert on all the things, but she has no clue what she's talking about. No, you don't need to sit up carefully after an IVF transfer to avoid an ectopic pregnancy. No, organic skincare won't cure your infertility. Taking Tums for heartburn won't age your placenta. You don't need to take all the naps to prevent preterm labor. Gaining 30 lbs in 12 weeks is not the result of a thyroid problem if you're stuffing your face with Chinese takeout at 4 a.m.skiingmama1 wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 7:52 amPinkMoscato wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 10:59 pmShe also says she’s only taken ONE nap in the whole timeFlowersTar 68 wrote:She's posted a 30-34 week bump date video, I belive she's 37 weeks tomorrow.

She just regurgitates ridiculous "information" that she gets from the most wacko people and never bothers to fact-check anything. It's frightening that she used to be responsible for medically fragile infants.

They've been secretly in this house since the end of January I think? Plenty of time to get yourself sorted for a new baby. Pretty much the same amount of time as every other woman on this planet.
Maybe had they not spent three months building chicken coops and mowing farming fields with a lawnmower, they'd be in a better position.

The 4 year old girl?
Maybe the pregnant woman wants some?
They're so defiant. They literally will keep doing dangerous things because they won't ever admit to being wrong.

The latest vlog is the most closest to date we've had, as in she's 37 weeks now and was filmed last week at 36 and a bit weeks. We'll done for that Alex, you managed it in between naps.
In the vlog, she briefly mentioned that Phil needed to put the girls bunk beds up, hooray, finally they have beds! In May. THIS has been my biggest bugbear of all with these two, yeah for the first week or two it's fun to sleep on a mattress on the floor, but my priority would have been beds first, not digging the garden up. I wonder if Phil has put them up yet.
*Happy to be corrected if they had ordered the bunk beds when they first moved in and it's been a delivery problem and not a Phil and Alex lack of priority issue

Re: Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
For someone who acts so much like a “first time mom” it’s strange to me that she’s waited this long to do any baby prep or purchasing. Usually this is all stuff people do several weeks earlier. She’s already 37 weeks. Do they even have a car seat? Sure it is likely that she will deliver close to her due date or after. Still, most people aren’t waiting on essentials like a bassinet and changing table to be delivered at 37 weeks pregnant. Her attitude truly shows that she’s not ecstatic about welcoming another baby into their family, what she loves is being the pregnant woman. She even said in a recent video that she isn’t ready for the pregnancy to end and hope she stays pregnant for as long as possible because she has loved the experience of being pregnant so much. This feeling in itself isn’t abnormal necessarily.... but what’s odd is we haven’t once heard her say how excited she is to meet her baby and to welcome another LO in their family etc... most pregnant women in their third trimester are anxiously awaiting giving birth even if they have thoroughly loved their pregnancy experience.

Yes, that would be what most women would do, prep for baby. However, with her and the unicorn pregnancy, the attention would need to be split with the new baby. She is already talking about having another pregnancy so that her friends can kiss her bump. This reminds be of when she went to the fertility clinic with Callie, who was still so young at the time. Alex is already looking to the next big things to make her a special unicorn again. Unreal. Those poor girls need as much stability as possible going into this scary phase when their parents are in the nicu with the new baby. The grandparents are all coming into town. If they don't bring COVID19, I hope they can bring some normalcy and routine and show Alex how to run a household.skiingmama1 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 5:37 am For someone who acts so much like a “first time mom” it’s strange to me that she’s waited this long to do any baby prep or purchasing. Re: Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
There are definitely women out there who "collect kids" because they love the attention of being pregnant, but don't actually want to bother with the raising children part. They turned infertility into one big performance. Alex knows there's a good chance she's not going to experience pregnancy again unless they have the money to do another retrieval. I'm sure she also knows their audience will dwindle shortly and less people will care to watch them anymore once the biological child is here. The only reason people might stick around is if they exploit this child's medical problems for views. Alex has to keep up the victim complex. I agree it's really strange that this is her third child and she's acting like a first-time mom. Do they not have plenty of stuff from when their daughters were babies?
Re: Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
I'm asking because it's been discussed here but I can't bring myself to sift through their vlogs. Did Alex actually confuse Braxton Hicks with real labor contractions? If so, I can't wait to watch her birth video with a giant 5 gallon bucket of popcorn. She's in for a real treat.

I think Alex showed some clothes from Kins n Callie when they were babies?
And I think they have one normal embryo left.I presume it's a boy.But there's no way to know it it has Phil's heart prob.
Also there is another embryo w Turner's syndrome.Which I hope they never implant

My point exactly: the chickens are going to be needing out in a large cooped in area with a chicken house. They will need attention at least twice a day. Is the Garden even planted or do we still have Phillip with his shovel digging an earth worm on their acres and saying Kinsey, what do we call this? Yes that is right an earth worm, can you say earthworm Callie? Isn't it so small and so cute isn't it so exciting that we found a worm to put in the garden? Who the heck is going to have time for a garden and chicks with an infant esp that has special needs? They were better off building a jungle gym swing set for the girls complete with sand box, so they have something to do when baby comes along.IVFwarrior wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 11:32 pm Pigsty.png
And now we're meant to feel sorry for them because their house looks like this? It looks normal for them, they always have stuff strewn all over the floor. It's disgusting. Just like Alex's hygiene. Why does she reference having a shower as a great accomplishment worthy of mention in each vlog? Can't imagine how she must have let herself go in the RV.

This shouldn't be a puzzling question. How do you think Bramty, Jesssfam,KK&Baby J, and a few others do this? They are paid my YT and file taxes every year, it is a job. They're paid for it by YouTube.

I just don’t understand why they are so rushed on every scatterbrained idea they have. If homesteading is their long term goal why not wait to start until next year? They did BUY the house meaning they are planning to be there long term. Seems like they just wanted something “cool” for vlog content. There’s no logical reason when you move into a new home in your third trimester of pregnancy that you would have any interest in starting such a huuuuuuge time consuming project.Dreamkeeper+1 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 7:27 pmMy point exactly: the chickens are going to be needing out in a large cooped in area with a chicken house. Re: Phil and Alex | Part 8
It is a job but you tubers have to file their taxes using 10-99s. This means they pay a LOT of taxes because they aren’t having any taxes on their earnings being taken out like people who work w2 jobs. They’re basically contractors. To qualify for a mortgage as a YouTuber isn’t easy, and it usually requires a LARGE deposit and/or a co-signer etc. I used to work with home mortgages so I know a lot about the process. My best guess is that P+A had a substantially large deposit to put down from the sale of their old condo. Their family may or may not have helped them by co-signing etc too.glamper2406 wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 7:38 amThis shouldn't be a puzzling question. Re: Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
I don't think people realize how much money they might be making.
Income on YT is not proportionate. X dollars per 1000 views does not work the same when you have 1000 subscribers versus 1,000,000.
They have nearly half a million subscribers. That's a lot. They have 50,000-100,000 followers that reliably watch their videos the moment they come out. They might be making $10,000-$20,000 every time she does a sponsored post for that makeup company, even though Alex looks like a 1980's teenager when she applies it.
Then all their expenses in the RV they likely claimed as a tax deduction against their fraudulent charity. Remember that "office" they had to have in the girls bedroom, and the 2 pizza parties....
They probably bought the house upfront.

right! and the people that are going to pay the price are Callie and Kinsley. Sure, kids are resilient, but those girls have been through a lot of changes over the past year (moving from CA, living in the RV, moving into the new house in TN, far from their family and friends etc). Those aren't all bad things, but they are still BIG changes. Now add the fact that Alex and Phil are going to be extremely busy with the new baby due to her cardiac/medical needs. They are signing themselves up for unnecessary stress (taking care of the chickens and tending to the garden). I'm glad that the grandparents will be around, I just wish that A + P put their dreams of a garden and chickens on the back burner until next year and spent the past few months creating a comfortable and organized home environment and spending QUALITY time with the girls. They are going to remember the last part of her pregnancy as utter chaos. Why wouldn't you want to minimize the stress and SIMPLIFY... I really hope they prove me wrong and put out a vlog with the house (mostly the girls' room) put together, the garden planted and the chicken area set up...
