100% agree and disgusted at even the thought of this. But could someone catch me up or provide a link? I’m super confused I didn’t see this

This is the kid’s original video, although there are a lot of third parties who have also made videos covering the topic.
It’s pretty long, but the key points are basically that Colleen was in a weird amount of contact with this kid Adam beginning when he was only 13 years old. They texted about things like her divorce and even met up to have lunch together. Supposedly Colleen was using this kid’s ideas to try to revive the Miranda character and mentioned that a paid position may be available if things go well. Kid says she gave him access to the Miranda twitter after approving a few posts that he ran by her first, one of which was meant to be some sort of satire about “coming out” as a Meghan trainer fan. When the tweet was poorly received, Colleen supposedly backpaddled and tried to blame the kid for the backlash. Oh, and the icing on the cake is that the entire “friendship” began with a 30 year old woman and 30 year old gay man sending lingerie to a 13 year old kid. I guess Kory has been shit talking this Adam kid too in fan group chats? (Idk why these exist...it does seem like a strange amount of contact with literal children.)
Colleen’s Twitter is a mess right now. Lots of little middle school aged kids calling her out. I wonder how she likes it now that the tables have turned.

Someone said above, "But it’s an adults job (which Colleen is!!) to protect them from stuff like that." It's not Colleen's job to protect someone else's child. Maybe if HIS parents had taught him not to interact with adults, it wouldn't have happened. They let him cross a line when they were okay with their teenage son being close friends with an adult.
Someone else said, "Yes... Yes he is the innocent child he claims to be. 13 years old ffs. Of course he wanted that underwear or posted sexual stuff". You can't be an innocent child, yet want to get someone's underwear or post sexual stuff.
How was Colleen grooming him? Sending him what he asked for and then nothing else similar sent or said between them, how does that make it grooming? I'm not sure you know how grooming works.
Also, he said she was his best friend, where did she say that he was her best friend? It doesn't always go both ways.
And why is it ok for a teenage boy to post porn images online? Why are so many of you ok with that? I did some Googling and it sounds like him posting those images could have resulted in her suing him or at least she could have done something to get them removed, though everything on the internet is forever. Then the pictures/video he posted of himself wearing the lingerie could possibly be considered child pornography since he was underage in them, but I don't know if the laws about that are the same where he lives as they are in the states.
I'm not saying she wasn't wrong in any way, just that he is 100% embellishing, most likely to make his sub count and views higher. I mean, he even monetized it. That right there is clue #1. Who makes a video about something upsetting them, but remembers to mark it for monetization?
Y'all have some really weird views on things but to each their own. Just raise your kids how you want them to behave and act in life. Don't let someone else do it for you like you think Colleen should have done for that kid.
Wait So if parents are the only adults who get to protect kids then what do teachers do? What Colleen did was shady. She has a huge following with children especially during that time. When you get that big you have a responsibility to be a role model for kids. It’s not like she was still a kid herself. Colleen had to be in her 20s. The kid was 13yrs old and his idol was reaching out to him. Shit i love Zac Efron and if he reached out to me at 13yrs old I would of done anything for him. Colleen also knew that he was young and was a fan. She took advantage of that. At 13 you’re still maturing and growing up. I’m 29 and to me 13yrs old is still really young. We gotta treat kids like kids and not hold them to a higher degree. If you’re a 20 something yr old and engaging in kids who idolize you and they ask for your lingerie it’s probably best you talk to them or their parents instead of telling them yeah sure! What’s your address! That’s wild to me.
Colleen has no business becoming friends with a child. Shifting blame doesn't make what Colleen did less bad. Yes, this kids parents should have stopped it but ultimately what Colleen did was predatory because she was in the position of power because he's a child and her fan and she KNEW that. Trying to lessen the wrong doing of some grown ass woman being friends with a child by questioning the child's innocence is gross at best. ewww. Question why you'd do that.
This is like when Tati "came for James Charles" why did a fully grown woman need to be friends let alone best friends with a child ? What's wrong with you that you need friends who obviously aren't on a level playing field.
Drake being friends with 14 year olds.
People need to stop acting like this is okay. Fast Forward 12 years I wonder how Colleen would feel about if a grown woman wanted to be Flinn's good friend.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone talk about this but it seems like a good time to bring it up. Colleen has also been seen at least for the past five years to be friends with JoJo. JoJo is like 16 they were hanging out when she was 13. That was always strange to me. And since JoJo is in the public eye her mom knows about the friendship. Colleen needs people her own age. I would never let her my underage child hang out with people half their age. Do the ballingers not get boundaries? Rachel ( colleens sister) is also friends with JoJo. The whole thing is just strange and the thing with this other kid just adds to the weirdness. Colleen definitely used that kid because he was a fan and would do anything for her. She took advantage of a fan. I’m sure he’s not the only one either.

Ugh, yes, THANK YOU! It's not my job as a so-called "adult" to protect them. I'm not a parent, and kids are not my responsibility, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. The kids' parents, on the other hand, have every right to monitor and control what their children do. But it isn't on other people to shield their pwecious wittle eyes from something offensive. I also completely agree that teens are far from innocent. And yes, you also make a great point that as the older party, Colleen was in the wrong here...but that doesn't mean the kid is blameless either.
Well... the 13-year old boy’s parents probably told him to milk the friendship with a “celebrity” for as long as he could. Maybe, hoping to sell the lingerie on eBay at some point. I am sure he was encouraged my them to get as close to Colleen as possible (not in a sexual way but just to benefit from being near a famous person). All of this is gross but many people do this shit for their 5 minutes of fame.

Nobody wants you to be their parent but when you’re in a position to be a role model for kids you have a responsibility. If someone you admired when you were younger all the sudden was talking to you and engaging with you, you wouldn’t do anything for them? Because when I was younger I was obsessed with Zac Efron and I would’ve done anything for him lol. That boy was underage. You can’t expect teenagers to act like grown adults when they aren’t. They still have developing minds. You expect teens to act like they are already grown when they aren’tr especially at 13. Obviously no teen is innocent. Show me one teen who doesn’t try to break the rules and fight with their parent and always shows good judgement. There isn’t one because they don’t exist. When you’re a teenager that is your time to grow up and make mistakes. The boy shouldn’t have asked for panties. But I’m 30 and if an underage TEENAGER asked me to give them lingerie I wouldn’t do it! And Colleen shouldn’t do it! She has shown from very creepy behavior even before this. What the hell is her friendship she has had with Jojo since she was like 13? Colleen has a lot of underage fans and they all just bow down to her and Colleen eats it up.
Also not only did she give a teenager lingerie but she used him to go undercover to find out information about her ex and old friends. She made him use her Miranda account to talk to fans and spice up the account. She approved everything he posted on her account and when fans didn’t like something she blamed HIM. When she wanted him to do it and approve it. This is a lot more than giving him lingerie. This is about how she used him because she knew he looked up to her and would do anything for her. As most teenagers would do if they were engaging with someone they look up to. Is the boy innocent? No but he didn’t know better and Colleen should have.

Yes it is her job to not be inappropriate during her personal interactions with children. Nobody has said she should parent them in every aspect of their lives, but that she should control her damn self and set some boundaries with how SHE interacts with them.

How about setting boundaries with how you interact with ANYONE?
The issue here is a power imbalance. Colleen was an adult twice the age of this child. She used her fame and platform to manipulate him into doing things for her. He would not have been likely to go along with it had she been some random internet stranger, but she was not. She has a multi-million follower platform and she leveraged that power to take advantage of a unsuspecting child.
The lingerie, while inexcusable in my mind, did seem to be intended as a joke, though in poor-taste. I don’t think she meant to “groom” him but she is still responsible for her actions here and should acknowledge that it was wrong and apologize. She is avoiding all of it in hopes that she will just get away with it. And then what? She will probably continue to take advantage of other kids who admire her.
This single instance with a fan is, in my opinion, not the biggest deal in the world. But this type of behavior and mindset is problematic and she needs to make efforts toward improving.
Colleen is responsible for Colleen's behavior regardless of what the kids parent did or didn't do. I bet she knows better but thought she could get out of it. Like she explained away her family using crotch shots of a child in thumbnails and claiming to be innocent and not know what views that attracts. They know what they are doing.

I’m just curious. If a male in his 30’s sent a 13 year old female his underwear, would you be saying the same things? Even if she begged him to send them to her would you still say it was her parents’ fault for letting her cross a line? Kids don’t have fully developed brains. They aren’t able to make decisions like that for themselves. It’s why there is a legal age for consent. It’s the responsibility of adults (especially adults with a platform) to protect kids. I wonder if Colleen has thought how she would feel if the same thing happened to Flynn in 13 years.
A racist video of Colleen and Rachel has resurfaced. They are done up in makeup to make their skin appear brown and they drew on sharpie eyebrows and rap about things like crossing the boarder and working at del taco. I think there was some line in there that implied their boyfriend broke into a car and had sex with them in the back seat?
Oh, and this is all after Colleen posted on Instagram and YouTube about the Ahmaud Arbury story to try to make herself look progressive and deflect from the drama she has caused. I didn’t watch her video with Todrick but apparently she made a fool of herself not knowing anything about the situation or really having anything to contribute. Todrick could have made the video alone. She was only doing it to try to change public opinion about her.
Of course she hasn’t addressed anything relating to Adam or the racist video and will probably try to get away without ever addressing it.

There is so much more that has recently come out about her. Kodee Tyler made a video about it and it’s really upsetting to see how much she got away with and there’s more stuff coming out on twitter. her fans are really hurt by Colleen’s actions. Her fans want her to address these resurfaced videos and tweets and i hope she does.
Wow I just read about the dog story. I’ve been seeing people calling her a sociopath but this seals the deal. She shows absolutely no remorse and actually LAUGHS as a ADULT about having a dog put down. “I murdered a dog hahaha” uhhh....can we get a psychological evaluation on this bitch? Killing animals is a huge warning sign...
She is like this happened 14 years ago I've changed this happened 7 years ago but she was 29-33 during her interactions with Adam so more than grown enough to know better. He is a minor I feel uncomfortable sharing things with a minor but you didn't feel uncomfortable before. It's still suspect even more so with just how many child friends she's had. James defending her he was one of them.
Has anyone here ever had / known a toddler who speaks like Flynn does? I don't watch very many of her videos so maybe I just happened to only ever catch his really excited moments where he's kind of slur yelling.
