There was a vlog recently where Cody thought the mail he received was a letter from Russel but it was a bank statement. If that’s true the only good thing that Bonnie and Joel is going for their kids.

I got blocked from Ruby's insta because I asked her about how she compensates her kids for their appearances in YouTube videos. I also said how it is extremely unfair if they don't considering people only watch for her kids and not her. I don't think ANY of my comment was hateful AT ALL. Ruby really can't take any constructive critisicm can she? No wonder people on here call her a narcissist bitch.

Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Ruby is all about manipulation. She is manipulating her kids into a place where they will never do this, because they wouldn’t do it to “family”. She manipulates them into their religion, into going along with whatever she wants for youtube, because while they technically have the choice not to they know it’s what they’re expected to do to be accepted. I think this is why she’s so afraid of the kids learning to be manipulative — that’s mom’s thing only.callie73 wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 4:41 pm Legally the kids have a right to sue Ruby and Kevin for the money they have earned, if they are not given the money. If Chad were to ever get fed up with his parents and seek emancipation on top of suing his parents for his rightful share of the income they earn, these videos would be all the proof the judge would need to side with chad. He has every right to be treated fairly as well as a right to privacy. He could also take his parents to court for basic needs to be met and probably win. I don't think he knows his rights.

Shari is coing to BYU.
Frankly I don’t think she would do very well in other universities.
She’s quite close minded in my opinion, I think it’s because of her upbringing. She absorbs A LOT of what her parents say unlike some of the other kids that you can tell are rolling their eyes in their head when Ruby is blabbering nonsense.
She did say she got the required ACT score and wasn’t taking SAT because BYU didn’t require it.
I don’t think the kids are allowed to read on the internet but if someone close to them does, maybe they can elighten them. The only reason the Frankes have millions of followers are their kids. They should pay for the kids basic needs. Education is one of them.
If one of those kids wants to go to whatever damned school that isn’t Mormon or religious. Ask your parents to pay. And if they refuse: sue them. They will have to either pay you the part of the profits made by every single video featuring said child or take them down from the internet.
I think they would never do that. I don’t think they even realize how shitty their parents are. It’s in human nature to love ones parents even if they deny you a future you deserve

So Ruby doesn’t like being told what to do when it comes to quarantine, but when they’re told what to do by the church there’s no problem...

I think we got a small taste of how Ruby and Shari really talk to Chad when the camera is off in the video today when they were angry at him about how the car was sounding.
Ruby is an arrogant piece of shit. Saying she didn't like when viewers were telling her what she was supposed to be doing regarding the virus and she said "well, um, no." You dumb bitch, people were telling you what everyone is meant to be doing to keep EVERYONE SAFE AND ALIVE. As was recommended by scientists and world leaders. Such as not traveling across the country for a vacation when it's already serious enough that you have a mask on in the airport! And the last poster is totally right, she listens to her church leaders at the drop of a hat. I wonder how she felt about them telling everyone to have church from home? No "well, um, no" there.

I guarantee it's not a _big_ bank account... Between all the plastic surgeries, toys for Joel, couple trips, late night takeout and Bollie (not to mention the meth house and property), they aren't putting a lot aside for the kids for sure. It's evident by the way the boys have had shoes with holes in them and one of them actually had a shoe stapled back together, that the kids' needs don't rank very high.

I can’t believe her!
Just by looking at Julie and Abby standing together you have to realize the same size of swimsuit won’t fit them.
Haven’t you realized Ruby that Abby has a bigger chest size than Julie? Maybe even bigger than yours!
Stop being so stupid. She didn’t want to try little girls bright colored swimsuits either! She’s a teenager now. Please, buy her another swimsuit in different sizes and let her try them all on. You’re making her feel bad about this and she shouldn’t. That’s how eating disorders start; a friend classmate or worse an adult family member who should know better, making a person feel inadequate and bad about their own body. Then she will think maybe if she lost some weight and down the rabbit hole it is.
Omg. I can’t watch this woman, I want to go shake the stupidness out of her. Way to go: rush out when it’s the first day, don’t wear masks at all, make your daughter drive a car you feel is making weird noises, make your son go to a hairdresser to get his hair cut first day that allowed, make your teen daughter feel bad about her body, don’t vaccinate your dog and expose it to where a lot of other potentially sick dogs go to just because he has messy hair. After all him looking good is better than him being healthy, right?
And all this in one day. Poor children. They are doomed

Abby clearly needs a very different bathing suit to Julie, one with actual support!Gigi7 wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 8:43 am I can’t believe her!

Also she makes a fuss about it being hard to find modest swimwear then buys totally normal swimwear? In the UK they are the kind of swimming costumes you could get in any supermarket/ clothing store such as GAP/ Next etc. Additionally I don't see what is 'modest' about them. Additionally over all the years they've shown they don't really dress a specific way? They wear short shorts, tank tops, see the men/ boys topless. They filmed Julie in her swimsuit etc.
ALSO I know for sure that I wouldn't want trying on a swimsuit to be sprung on me right now because I'm hairy! I'd also never want to be filmed! Especially as a young teen it's awful and uncomfortable

Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Ruby sounded like such a bitch in today's vlog. "My viewers are always trying to tell me what to do and I'm just, like, um no." It's not just your viewers telling you to quarantine, it's literally your government asking you to stay home and to stop spreading the disease. Also, maybe you should do what your viewers say once in awhile, you are not always right. Also, great example she's showing for her kids, I bet she'll really love when she asks them to do something and they're just like "Um... no".
Chad's haircut was really nice. It's dumb that she put his haircut for the thumbnail and title, though, but didn't even give him a chance to really show the camera or ask him if he liked it. Chad was barely in the vlog, but of course, she has to use him for the thumbnail to get viewers to click it.
Lastly, those swimsuits that she wanted Abby and Julie to wear were hideous. I couldn't really tell from looking at them from the front but it didn't even look like those colored one had bra paddings on them. The swimsuits that Abby and Julie picked out were so nice. They really are mature to pick something that is modest but also stylish and sophisticated looking. She needs to stop trying to control what those two wear. They have really good senses of style and her stuffing them into bright pink little girl clothes is just ridiculous. Julie only needs one swimsuit, Ruby didn't have to coercer her into also keeping the bright pink one's by saying her cousin wears the same one. Abby is not an XS, stuffing her into XS swimsuits with no bra padding is just going to hurt her self-esteem. She looked really sad and left out and Ruby was basically telling her that if she didn't pick one out she wouldn't have a swimsuit for the summer. Hopefully she fits into the one she has, since she can't get a new one unless it's bright pink and in the smallest little girls size possible. Let your daughters pick out clothes in their own style preferences and their actual sizes, you're not doing them a favor letting them be self conscious about their swimsuits.

That bitch won’t buy Abbey a suit that fits her because she didn’t like the bright colors?! Then she as punishment gives them all to Julie. Ruby is a sad, ignorant, vile human. She’s probably jealous of Abbey’s chest. The whole I won’t be told what to do...KARMA..hold my beer. It’s coming

Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
I'm all for teaching kids the value of money, earning chore money, etc is a great way to do so. But, geez, where is the childhood these kids are supposed to have? They have to grow up so fast to start earning and tucking away for their future. Maybe that's why the Griffith girls' mentality are so stunted, they missed out on a normal childhood for more reasons than one.imoverit wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 11:05 amThis is a very good point, I hadn't thought about the fact that because of their parents' high income the kids are not likely to receive any financial aid even if they are expected to pay their own way. It's a very common problem because financial aid is so tricky. So not only are the kids forced to be the source of income for their parents, they are at even more of a disadvantage because of the money they make, which is so backwards and horrible. BYU will be their only option, just financially! Which doesn't bode well for some of these kids who have at one point been failing elementary or middle school classes...
Yes they get to live in the nice house now, but in the long run they aren't getting what they deserve unless they are getting their fair share of cold hard cash (no Ruby, one turn on your robot toilet per week does not count). But I guarantee you Ruby and Kevin don't see the kids' participation in the videos as work or anything worth being compensated for. They'd probably call that way of thinking 'entitled'. And we all know Ruby won't 'coddle' her kids. In reality she is the one who is really being coddled!

I had a big chest at an early age. It was embarrassing enough by itself. Middle school boys are really stupid about things like that. For Ruby to try and stuff Abby into a too-small swimsuit and then shame her because of the way she is developing, _on camera_, is just beyond wicked. #parentinggoals, my ass.rulatows000 wrote:Ruby sounded like such a bitch in today's vlog. I was literally going to say the exact same thing. I feel so awful for Abbey when Ruby forces her to try on clothes that she knows won't fit her. I really feel for Abbey. I matured a little earlier then a lot of girls my age and so some of the clothing that was "age appropriate" for my age simply didn't fit because of my larger bust if you know what I mean. (Sorry to all the guys on this forum lmao) I also had a mother who used to force me to try on clothes that I already knew wouldn't fit, and so it was double the embarrassment when I had to try it on AND show my mom/my older sis how it didn't fit and how it was pinching my sides. Also, does anyone else wonder if Abbey will grow up with body insecurities because of this type of crap that Ruby pulls? (Forcing her to try something on when she doesn't want to.) And also Abbey's face standing off to the side while Julie was showcasing her new swimsuits to Ruby made me really feel sorry for Abbey.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 10:13 amI had a big chest at an early age. Here's what must suck even more for Abbey, people ALWAYS compliment Julie and talk about how she could be a model because she's so pretty (which yeah I can totally see.) But if that many people come to compliment your sister about her looks and not that many people compliment yours, it could also hurt your self esteem. I would know, sometimes I see myself as the ugly duckling of the family as both my sister and my mom have always been complimented on their looks. Not trying to be petty here, but it is hard to feel beautiful when the closest people around you won't try to tell you that you are beautiful just the way you are (this is especially prevalent in Abbey's case, as I'm sure Ruby probably never tells her this.) I hope Abbey knows she is sooo beautiful and absolutely gorgeous for her age.
Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Someone on this forum mentioned that Ruby would milk out videos of Chad getting his haircut. They were so right it's hilarious! this furthers my theory of Ruby running out of video ideas. Poor Eve will probably have to suffer from more "life coaching" from her shitty mom because of it. I wonder if the next video after the prom one is gonna be another "life coach" lesson or a "What does Chad like about his new doo?/ the Pros and Cons of short vs long hair, or maybe another disgusting bath video, aka "Watch my kids bathe in toilet water!!"
Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Why does Ruby only ever make one main item for breakfast for a big family of 8?? Like she'll only make scrambled eggs one day, or French toast the next day, but never together?? Her family is huge, she and Kevin are the ones who decided to be perfect mormons and spit out babies, so why don't they at least cook some decent sized portions for their children?? Jesus, I feel like Ruby wants all her children to be perfectly skinny and petite, and thus barely feeds them anything.
And I LOVE the fact that after we called Ruby out constantly on being a lazy mom and not washing the dishes and barely cooking proper meals that she now showcases her self washing dishes and cooking breakfast for her family like she's some kind of saint? Ruby, if you weren't doing that already you're an absolute pathetic excuse of a mother. And I find it so sad how many idiots look up to you.

Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Also, I know none of this entire family (the whole Griffith clan) cares of how serious COVID-19 is, but i just have to mention how idiotic it is of them to plan on going swimming in community/hotel pools or on the beach or in a lake in the near summer. I (along with a ton of other people) are 99.9% sure this pandemic will NOT be gone by the summertime.
