Out of all the kids, I'm definetely not surprised if she doesn't spend as much time filming and spending time around Dwight since he's no longer that cute little furry puppy with his new haircut.

Here's what must suck even more for Abbey, people ALWAYS compliment Julie and talk about how she could be a model because she's so pretty (which yeah I can totally see.) But if that many people come to compliment your sister about her looks and not that many people compliment yours, it could also hurt your self esteem. I would know, sometimes I see myself as the ugly duckling of the family as both my sister and my mom have always been complimented on their looks. Not trying to be petty here, but it is hard to feel beautiful when the closest people around you won't try to tell you that you are beautiful just the way you are (this is especially prevalent in Abbey's case, as I'm sure Ruby probably never tells her this.) I hope Abbey knows she is sooo beautiful and absolutely gorgeous for her age.

Frankly I don’t think she would do very well in other universities.
She’s quite close minded in my opinion, I think it’s because of her upbringing. She absorbs A LOT of what her parents say unlike some of the other kids that you can tell are rolling their eyes in their head when Ruby is blabbering nonsense.

She did say she got the required ACT score and wasn’t taking SAT because BYU didn’t require it.

I don’t think the kids are allowed to read on the internet but if someone close to them does, maybe they can elighten them. The only reason the Frankes have millions of followers are their kids. They should pay for the kids basic needs. Education is one of them.
If one of those kids wants to go to whatever damned school that isn’t Mormon or religious. Ask your parents to pay. And if they refuse: sue them. They will have to either pay you the part of the profits made by every single video featuring said child or take them down from the internet.

I think they would never do that. I don’t think they even realize how shitty their parents are. It’s in human nature to love ones parents even if they deny you a future you deserve

Especially considering the fact that many of the Franke kids are closed off from other families that aren't Mormon. If they are only ever hanging around other friends who's families are also Mormon, then they probably think that their parents are pretty normal since that is what they are used to seeing in their own family and in their friends' families.

I think we got a small taste of how Ruby and Shari really talk to Chad when the camera is off in the video today when they were angry at him about how the car was sounding.
Ruby is an arrogant piece of shit. Saying she didn't like when viewers were telling her what she was supposed to be doing regarding the virus and she said "well, um, no." You dumb bitch, people were telling you what everyone is meant to be doing to keep EVERYONE SAFE AND ALIVE. As was recommended by scientists and world leaders. Such as not traveling across the country for a vacation when it's already serious enough that you have a mask on in the airport! And the last poster is totally right, she listens to her church leaders at the drop of a hat. I wonder how she felt about them telling everyone to have church from home? No "well, um, no" there.

This got me thinking.. I know this is an awful thought and I do sincerely apologize for even thinking it.. but do you guys think Ruby would've taken COVID-19 more seriously and continue to take it seriously if one of her kids passed away because of it? I don't want this to happen, because none of the kids deserve anything awful to happen to them, they are just kids. It's just an awful thought and I was wondering of your guys' take on it?

They also mostly hang out with other vlogger families. So that is normalized too. Seeing your parents walking around talking to themselves in a camera might seem weird if your friend's parents didn't do it as well. Shanna Leroy said something once about how it's just "easier" to hang out with other vloggers. I think it just makes the bubble smaller.

I could've sworn Shari had mentioned buying a swimsuit from Rad Swim once, too. They offer modest, but stylish swimsuits for girls, tweens, and women. Weird that Ruby is acting like she has such a hard time finding swimsuits for her girls, aren't they friends with the Shumways? Why is she searching the internet and ordering these bright little girl swimsuits when she has friends who are offering swimsuits that would be perfect for Abby and Julie? Unless it's the money thing, but ordering one swimsuit for each of her girls from Rad Swim would be cheaper than ordering a dozen swimsuits from wherever she found hers. It's a modesty thing with Mormons. I was raised Mormon but left and had my name removed from the records the day I turned 18. We couldn't wear 2 pieces or those short shorts. Nothing revealing at all. Ever. That was 20 years ago. Things must have changed because I see Brooklyn & Bailey wear two pieces and the short shorts with crop tops. I'm not judging at all. But growing up that would never ever have been allowed.

Stop being so stupid. She didn’t want to try little girls bright colored swimsuits either! She’s a teenager now. Please, buy her another swimsuit in different sizes and let her try them all on. You’re making her feel bad about this and she shouldn’t. That’s how eating disorders start; a friend classmate or worse an adult family member who should know better, making a person feel inadequate and bad about their own body. Then she will think maybe if she lost some weight and down the rabbit hole it is.

Omg. I can’t watch this woman, I want to go shake the stupidness out of her. Way to go: rush out when it’s the first day, don’t wear masks at all, make your daughter drive a car you feel is making weird noises, make your son go to a hairdresser to get his hair cut first day that allowed, make your teen daughter feel bad about her body, don’t vaccinate your dog and expose it to where a lot of other potentially sick dogs go to just because he has messy hair. Also she makes a fuss about it being hard to find modest swimwear then buys totally normal swimwear? In the UK they are the kind of swimming costumes you could get in any supermarket/ clothing store such as GAP/ Next etc. Additionally I don't see what is 'modest' about them. Additionally over all the years they've shown they don't really dress a specific way? They wear short shorts, tank tops, see the men/ boys topless. They filmed Julie in her swimsuit etc.
ALSO I know for sure that I wouldn't want trying on a swimsuit to be sprung on me right now because I'm hairy! I'd also never want to be filmed! Especially as a young teen it's awful and uncomfortable

I was watching the reactions from Abby and Julie when Ruby first pulled the swimsuits out. Their body language clearly showed they didn't want to participate in this exercise. I felt bad for Abby, she is aware that she has a different body shape to her mum and sisters and would feel extremely self conscious parading around in a halter neck swimsuit. Get Abby a suit with support and don't make her try it on in front of YT!

This is where I don't get Ruby. She talks about wanting her daughters to wear modest clothes. She creates a "fashion label" (consisting of 4 pieces of clothing hence my reluctance to call it a real fashion label) for modest clothes for "tweens". Yet she is happy for both her daughters to parade in swimsuits in front of viewers on YT.

Julie seemed ok by the end to wear the swimsuit, but I felt for Abby.

Ruby knows if she acts like she needs something, someone will step up and give her free stuff. She knows which suits to get but doesn't want to pay for them, so act like there are no modest, cool, teen girl swimsuits to be found, and, BINGO they start showing up in the mail for free. Ruby is many things; lazy; manipulative; disrespectful; narcissistic; and, selfish to name a few-but, clueless when it comes to getting things for free...she is not.

Utah is in mild shut down compared to East coast and in our area, vets have remained open for emergency and shots. Wherever they take the dog to should be reported, they are risking the health of other dogs by taking him in for this selfish bitch woman. They have policies for a reason. The breeder would have had to have shots recorded, he was flown in from somewhere and flight would have required it, so it is all on the new owner.

My guess is Chad either got caught smoking weed or truly did nothing besides talk back and occasionally lie (Note: something every teenager does). I don't really see him doing drugs but hey, i'd want to smoke weed too if i were in a family like that. Whatever they're punishing him for most certainly isn't worth being punished for the rest of his childhood though. I know everybody parents differently, but it concerns me that most of these family channels only put what they think will make them look good on the internet...and this is making the situation look pretty terrible.

i bet part of the reason dwight got Such a short haircut is because his fur was tangled/matted so the groomers had no choice but to shave it off. my family got a puppy in 2018 & we'd never had a dog before – he's part poodle so the first time he got groomed it was a learning curve as we hadn't been brushing him enough/properly but once you learn it's easy to manage and you can get your dog trimmed instead of shaved! sadly, i can't see ruby & co taking 20 mins out of their day to groom dwight properly.

The worst part is that they made big bucks off the Chad comes home videos. They even loaned him out to Bonnie for a vlog! They still use him for thumbnails because he brings in the most views. Ruby once said that it was like "pulling your child out of traffic when you see that they're in danger", which doesn't make sense. I had to grab my son once because he was about to step off the curb in front of a bus. That was a reflex action. Sending your child away isn't a reflex, or shouldn't be. It requires thought and discussion, and in their case, likely prayer and talking to church leaders.
My guess? Internet porn. They're not supposed to go on Google unsupervised. There's nothing unusual about a teenage boy looking for porn. You don't want them to do it without discussing it with them, (victimization of women in the industry, the difference between that and sex between a loving couple, etc) and it's not something I would _encourage_, but I can see Ruby completely wigging out.
And then, when he gets done, they make thousands of dollars doing reunion videos, loan him out to an aunt, _tell_ him he can go to public school if he wants, but buy a uniform for him, and only cave on the school because of pressure from viewers. Then they go on vacation, and she posts from a luxury yacht in the BVI (that Chad paid for) that he's going to be a "great man of the house" while they were gone because of the skills he picked up at Anasazi. But she won't buy him things he needs for public school.
For him to not be able to drive because of legal issues, it would have had to have been something car-related like DUI or joyriding. I think it's just Ruby exerting more control over him. Can't give the problem child freedom. Maybe if he had agreed to the private school, she would let him get his license, because then he could help drive the other kids to school. What is Ruby going to do when Shari graduates? Is she going to start letting Chad drive, or is she going to actually haul her ass out of bed in the morning and take the kids to school?
