Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
Why must they show everything on IG? Shouldn’t they be leaving it for vlogs? They give too much away on IG
Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I’m down to watching about one vlog a week and still know everything that’s going on because mindy can’t keep her mouth shut on stories. Nothing is a surprise anymore. She can’t even wait a single day because she’s so eager to brag about anything and everything.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
She just has to tell everyone every little thing that goes on in her day. I know I'm a broken record, but I think she really has no friends except Stephanie who is busy with her cookies. So she has no one to talk to except her "insta-fam". I don't think she and Branden have a lot of conversation. When Hazy goes to school full time, the instastories are going to get _really_ manic. She just yammers incessantly. And she is so chirpy! And yes, she feels some deep need to show off. Can you imagine how insufferable she must be IRL?Pufflepup wrote:I’m down to watching about one vlog a week and still know everything that’s going on because mindy can’t keep her mouth shut on stories. Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I feel like they over stress "the kids like to play with friends" ... like I know it's normal at that age but when they are putting the idea in their heads "the kids would rather be with friends than us" it's teaching them to be those teenagers who have zero regard for their family. There's a balance and its up to the parents to create that...

"I feel like I"m ready for a wedding, I had a florist, a caterer, a venue".... losing relatability by the minute..all those moments of "how to plan the perfect cute little girl birthday at home"... most families I know that had house prom just dressed up with what they had, took nice pictures outside, and then blasted music in the living room and danced all night... I'm sure more of her die-hards would have rather heard her yammer on about how to set up the best "treat buffet at home for a prom", than see this mini wedding... I would have much rather watched Brandon and Madi take a limo -alone- to some high price expensive restaurant where he could tell her he was so proud of her and all that and then let her come home and dance with the kids, instead of letting Mindy put on her cruise dress and get all the credit.. "I did.. and then I did.. and then I ordered.. and then I..."

I wonder if Mindy honestly thinks she is going to have any part of planning Madi’s wedding whenever that happens. I’m betting Madi and her mom are thinking that’s going to be a big no.whydowewatchthis wrote:"I feel like I"m ready for a wedding, I had a florist, a caterer, a venue".... losing relatability by the minute..all those moments of "how to plan the perfect cute little girl birthday at home"... most families I know that had house prom just dressed up with what they had, took nice pictures outside, and then blasted music in the living room and danced all night... I couldn’t agree more! And her saying “she’s not getting married any time soon but now I know what it’ll be like when it’s time”.. excuse you what makes you think you get to do that stuff, she does have her own mother.whydowewatchthis wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 9:39 am "I feel like I"m ready for a wedding, I had a florist, a caterer, a venue".... losing relatability by the minute..all those moments of "how to plan the perfect cute little girl birthday at home"... most families I know that had house prom just dressed up with what they had, took nice pictures outside, and then blasted music in the living room and danced all night... Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I hope mindy gets a slap of reality to the face when that day comes. Totally over stepping boundaries by even saying that. My mother in law passed away before we got married and years later when we were having our first baby, my father in-law’s new wife (who we had only known a few months before they ran off and got married) thought she was in charge of throwing me a baby shower. I had to put her in her place right on the spot because first of all, I do have my own mother and family capable of throwing me a shower, but there were numerous aunts on my husbands side ahead of a lady I barely know, just because she married his dad.GA Peach70 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 9:55 amI wonder if Mindy honestly thinks she is going to have any part of planning Madi’s wedding whenever that happens. This rings true with mindy too: just because you are taking the role of ‘new wife’ does not mean that you are the ‘new mom’. It’s fine to be excited but know your role. Madi is her mother’s only child. Let her have those moments. You have 3 boys and a spoiled rotten princess. You’ll have your moment you brat.

The venue was $1550 to rent last night! Let’s just put that into perspective. Millions of Americans are unemployed now and can’t pay rent or mortgage but what’s $1550 for a “prom” venue? Everything to this family is for show and will never “epic” “rad” or “savage” enough.

Well remember, even if this all blows up in our faces and only lasts a year, it will be the best year ever.Buyingsubsgate2019 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 4:54 pm The venue was $1550 to rent last night! I have family in the radio industry and even they are concerned about the future because half of the station's revenue is sponsors for concerts and places... I know it's the same with youtube..so when youtube runs out of sponsors, time to cut the salaries... now that everyone is hooked, youtube knows people will watch the families regardless of if they get paid..
Saving money is not epic or savage.. and I'm not an LDS expert but I know they really value being wholesome family... that same memory could have been created for at least half that price and had the same impact...

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
In what world does she think she will have any part in planning Madi‘s wedding!? Other than writing a check? Madi has her own mom. One that she probably values the opinion of a whole hell of a lot more.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I’m guessing when Madi envisioned her senior prom night it didn’t involve the kids from her father’s second marriage who barely know her and isn’t the point of the stay at home order to ..stay at home?! Plus dragging out the relatives to come along on this social awkward moment from hell just makes it even worse. She didn’t want this and you can totally tell Mindy took the idea and ran with it without asking what Madi wanted .. if the girl were smart she would go to college in another galaxy to get away from these people

Don’t worry guys mindy wrote a blog for us about how to plan an “at home prom or any event” except this wasn’t an at home prom and costs thousands of dollars but sure let us know how we can do that because we all have that kind of money to blow during a pandemic

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
$1500 to rent an empty room?! Ridiculous.
They could have transformed their basement into a prom and that would have been more relatable
And honestly more special for them. They still have not addressed flying her in for a week when it’s clearly irresponsible and unsafe.
Her mom must be just as ridiculous for letting it happen.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
Binghams sending the wrong message. Covid-19 is over! Let's all go out in a limo and party in a place. Why couldn't they transform the basement in her "prom" or even the backyard???? Why the need to go out when it's NOT needed.
Maybe because I'm in New York the worst of the outbreak and I think differently? The only time I go out is on a supply run or finding a quiet park to hike and get some fresh air. This is not a time to go out and party. Want to party? Do it at home with members of the household.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I’m curious about her mom. I haven’t watched the vlog but Madi was clearly not at Branden and Mindy’s house when they picked her up for the “prom”. I know she has cousins on her mom’s side she usually visits when she’s in town. Did they show her at the airport or anything? Are we sure she flew? Maybe she drove up with her mom? Again, haven’t tortured myself and watched vlogs lately. But her mom is seemingly as absurd as these dummies for letting her travel right now.nahthxx wrote:$1500 to rent an empty room?! Ridiculous.

Well, she did marry branden so I imagine she has a bit of ridiculous running through her veins. But I’m sure nowhere near Branden’s over-the-top-ness considering how tame and polite Madi is.

Regarding Madi's mom, on her private instagram there is a photo of her and Madi with the school color balloon backdrop. I'm assuming since Mom is there, they must have driven/flew together, but I'm thinking it's the first option.JD386 wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 9:57 amI’m curious about her mom. Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
Also, Mindy's insta-stories today highlight Madi taking her AP Microeconomics exam. I'm a high school student, and I just took an AP American History exam from home. Usually, they're a 3-4 hour test with different questions, but due to the virus the tests are now 1-2 questions EACH and only 45 minutes. I had a hard enough time taking the test alone and quiet in my room, but poor Madi in the basement must have been distracted by the constant noise from upstairs. I hope they realize that these exams can be high stakes for certain kids, because if you get between a 3-5, you are granted college credit.
Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 4
I watched the prom video and I actually wasn’t that mad about it. Yes it’s unrelatable. However we all know they have the money to throw around, especially for the sake of an epic video. Madi does deserve it. She’s a good student and has a smart head on her shoulders. I’m glad they did a prom like that and not the preschool graduation!
I’m sure there are a lot of sad seniors who didn’t get to go to prom this year and I’m sure any sort of attempt at it would have been enough for Madi. I thought it was creative that they were able to get her to bring her dress with her.
And if her mom is in fact there as a previous post says, I’m glad she got to see her daughter dressed for the occasion. I’d guess if she came too that they probably did drive, but would be nice for them to confirm. They’re so caught up in their Bingham bubble that they don’t realize most of us are still in some sort of restricted phase and all their walking around without masks is a no-no to us.
