Ruby is pretty, but those eyelashes are just over the top. I keep waiting for her to put the rest of her Halloween costume on, because that is what they look like, fake and exaggerated, almost like stage makeup.
So, Chad is not entitled to his opinion about what taste good to him either?
Ruby is really grasping for content lately.

Poor Chad. After trying Ruby’s meatballs that he wasn’t a fan of, he was genuinely trying to understand if the dish was supposed to be savory or sweet and Ruby wants to throw in his face “you just don’t appreciate it.” Such a small piece of the vlog but how quickly she twists things.

So Chad “doesn’t appreciate” the jam meatballs because he doesn’t like the taste?! Ruby asked for everyone’s opinions on the ‘mill’ and when she gets an answer she doesn’t like she immediately goes there? God she is horrible. #savechad

Didn't want to quote multiple people, but I agree about Ruby's fake eyelashes. It's just not a good look, and it's distracting when filming your face close up. I also like how Chad and Shari are a bit sassy with her nowadays. When Ruby mentioned filming the stretches (gotta get content somehow), Shari was like, "You're the only one who wants to do them."
I like how at about 1:50, you can see Julie and Abby in the background exchange a look like, "well, I guess we have to do this..."

Strawberry jam inside swedish meatballs? That sounds nasty. People in the comments on the vlog were saying she was supposed to use currant jelly, not strawberry jam. Of course, Ruby can't admit a mistake so when Chad tells her it's not supposed to be sweet she snaps, "It's just because you don't appreciate it." How rude, he can't be honest when he doesn't like something without being snapped at and told he's unappreciative? Trust me, I know how terrible food that isn't supposed to be sweet, tastes when it's sweet. My mother once accidentally used sweetened condensed milk in her tater tot casserole instead of regular condensed milk and it was one of the worst things I've ever eaten. She herself wouldn't eat it, but made everyone else eat it because, just like Ruby, she couldn't admit a mistake and we were supposed to be appreciative even if her food was inedible.
Also, there is no space between the dryer and washer and floor. Lol, I could immediately see that her mop/duster thing wasn't going to fit, but she still had to try. Secondly, she mentioned how she never she thought would be the one to be staring at the wall all day long. How the hell does she have time to stare at the wall all day when she has six kids? Isn't she also supposedly writing a book, studying life coaching, and vlogging, how can she literally just do nothing all day? I really don't understand how she is always talking about doing nothing all day or lounging in bed all day long. I, mean, I guess her kids raise themselves and she probably has someone else editing her vlogs and writing her book for her. Just weird, makes me wonder if it is laziness or if she does have depression or something. Does not seem normal to be a mother of six kids and to talk about staring at a wall all day long, or in her instagram story talking about how it was 4:30 PM when she finally got ready for the day.

Who the hell wipes down their shower walls when they are done taking a shower? Isn't the shower area supposed to get wet? Honestly, everytime I watch Ruby now I feel like a little part of my brain dies. Why does she clean the most useless places and have her kids do all the real chores?(Her kids wash the dishes, dry dishes and put them away, mop the floors, wipe off tables, dust and vaccum, keep their own rooms clean) and Ruby wipes down the shower when she's done? What a "hardworking" mother she is. And I love how she buys all these cleaning supplies as if she's gonna be the one who uses them, she probably had her kids dust and wipe down everything for her while she stares at walls all day and gets up at 4:30 in the afternoon.
Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
What really did NOT shock me AT ALL was when Ruby said her biggest fear was if her kids were to sit around staring at walls all day and she had nothing to film from them. It really goes to show how she's more of a YouTuber then a real mother and its sickening. She continues to go on to say, "If you really want to scare me, line up my kids and have them face a wall." How does Ruby not realize how fucked up that sounds??? I'm not even a mother myself, but even I know that as a mother, what should scare her more is if her kids were in danger, but considering the fact that Eve and Russell are outside all day without any parent supervision, if anything bad were to happen to them, Ruby would probably use it as a video opportunity. She's honestly so fucked up in the head.

This isn't super relevant today, but question!!
Did anybody ever figure out what happened between Shari and Brevin? They seemed so infatuated with each other and then the second they were allowed to date kind of stopped. I know things happen and 16 year old relationships don't last forever, but I was curious because they don't seem to even be friends anymore. At first i thought it could be that Ruby's crazy drove him and his family away but after watching his family's vlog too, his mom seems a little bonkers too. I think she has better intentions than Ruby, but is definitely a helicopter parent. Thoughts?

I've always wondered if maybe the breakup had something to do with their parents. Ruby and Brevin's mom almost seemed like they were more invested in the relationship than Shari and Brevin were lol. Teen relationships can be dramatic enough as it is, I can't imagine going through that while your psycho vlogger parents post every detail on the internetdontwannah8 wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 4:03 pm This isn't super relevant today, but question!!

Shari do an explanation video I think, where she implied that Brevin wanted to be really serious and practically get married straight away, and she wanted to still be young and casual and date around. I think if he thought of her as the love of his life and she didn't feel the same, it might have been difficult to stay friends after.PumpkinHead wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 10:03 pmI've always wondered if maybe the breakup had something to do with their parents. Ruby wants Shari to get married young and have kids pretty much ASAP but in the video around the time Shari turned 16 Ruby said that she needs to date other people and to date around and that Brevin needs to be okay with that.Alycat_2001_uk wrote:Shari do an explanation video I think, where she implied that Brevin wanted to be really serious and practically get married straight away, and she wanted to still be young and casual and date around. My question is what happened to the guy that was around in Jan-Feb.

“The grocery store closes in 5 minutes, I hope we can get there” omg of course they are the types that will run into a store right as its closing, with no disregard to the workers who just want to go home. It’s one thing to do that if you need medicine or something really essential, but that definitely didn’t seem to be the case as they were apparently on a “date night”...
Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Ruby: "Its been hard making friends in a new neighborhood during quarantine." But they are not even properly quarantined, and they haven't been for awhile, so what's the problem? Quarantine is defined as "a restriction on the movement of people and goods which is intended to prevent the spread of disease or pests. " They haven't really restricted themselves from meeting and hanging out with other people (eg.Eve hangs out with some new girl in the playground, now she's found another friend to play with across the street who's just moved into the neighborhood, the prom with their cousins, the time Ruby went out to fill in her gross spider eyebrows) and where did this new family move from? We have no idea, but as long as Ruby keeps the vlogs up with clips of Eve and Russell playing with their new friend, I'm sure Ruby won't care. Question: If Eve and Russel or any of the other kids were to get sick and be tested positive for COVID, do you guys think Ruby would care, and she would take this pandemic more seriously? Or would she still have them act up for the camera?

Yeah they definetely don't give a flying crap about anyone else's needs except for their own.mix10 wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 8:15 am “The grocery store closes in 5 minutes, I hope we can get there” omg of course they are the types that will run into a store right as its closing, with no disregard to the workers who just want to go home. Anyone know how Utah is doing with regards to this? We don't get it broken down by state at all here.emma2948 wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 8:49 am Ruby: "Its been hard making friends in a new neighborhood during quarantine." They have 7874 confirmed cases. Mostly in Salt Lake County. Here's a breakdown by county.

Can you just imagine how the neighbors already hate them? They are constantly making noise and huge mess with all the unneeded construction the entire time everyone was home on quarantine. They have no care for anyone other than themselves.

Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Abby totally rocked her presentation. Her voice never wavered and she built that cute little tea set, even sewed blankets to donate to the hospital. I especially liked that her service project was donating blankets and how she was even drawing parallels between her situation and the smallpox outbreak, shows that she has some awareness of the seriousness of the coronavirus situation and isn't at all like her mother who didn't seem to know that there was a pandemic and when she did find out didn't care. Still, it made me mad that Ruby was standing there filming her while she's trying to give her presentation. Giving presentations for school is nerve-wracking enough without having some additional person standing there watching you present. I used to do online high school and if I had to give a presentation or record something, I'd always do it in my room with the door closed. I don't know why, but I always felt embarrassed if someone from my family was listening and I definitely would have messed up or gotten nervous if they were literally just standing there watching. Abby did great, but way to go Ruby for increasing the pressure on her.
