I’m curious about her mom. I haven’t watched the vlog but Madi was clearly not at Branden and Mindy’s house when they picked her up for the “prom”. I know she has cousins on her mom’s side she usually visits when she’s in town. Did they show her at the airport or anything? Are we sure she flew? Maybe she drove up with her mom? Again, haven’t tortured myself and watched vlogs lately. But her mom is seemingly as absurd as these dummies for letting her travel right now.

Regarding Madi's mom, on her private instagram there is a photo of her and Madi with the school color balloon backdrop. I'm assuming since Mom is there, they must have driven/flew together, but I'm thinking it's the first option.
Today's vlog: Branden and Madi having a moment on the porch talking to the camera and of course Mindy comes out and makes it about her.
I used to love this family and thought Mindy was totally mom goals but she has gotten sssoooo bad recently and so narcissistic. One of the many annoying things is that she posts recipe's on their blog but doesn't give credit to who she got it from, she makes it seem as if it's her own. And seriously, if I hear one more "just barely" I'm going to roll my eyes so hard they will fall out.

I actually used to like Mindy too. She's got influencer-itis. So many people tell her she's wonderful all day long, and do battle with anyone who says otherwise, and her head has gotten huge.
The fact that Mindy can't even pronounce what's on Madi's AP economics notes, clearly tells you that she went to college strictly to find a husband, which congrats she did. I took AP economics in high school and looking back it's just basic stuff that any grown adult that handles his or her finances should know.
Brandan gave Maddie a lot of one on one attention in today’s vlog which I loved. It was fun to just see them together. Mindy was very visibly jealous and trying to be apart of their time together as usual and I think brandan was annoyed by it. It's sad actually. I can see Madi is a very kindhearted person, but I don't know how she handles a stepmom like that. I can definitely see right through Mindy's control issues. I wonder what's gonna happen when she (hopefully) goes to BYU in the fall. Are they going to expect her to come to their place every weekend?

Madi does deserve it. She’s a good student and has a smart head on her shoulders. I’m glad they did a prom like that and not the preschool graduation!
I’m sure there are a lot of sad seniors who didn’t get to go to prom this year and I’m sure any sort of attempt at it would have been enough for Madi. I thought it was creative that they were able to get her to bring her dress with her.
And if her mom is in fact there as a previous post says, I’m glad she got to see her daughter dressed for the occasion. I’d guess if she came too that they probably did drive, but it would be nice for them to confirm. They’re so caught up in their Bingham bubble that they don’t realize most of us are still in some sort of restricted phase and all their walking around without masks is a no-no to us.
I wasn't mad about it either and found myself actually smiling because it was nice to have her entire family there and nice to see people having a good time. She's a good student, has worked hard and I thought the entire thing was over the top and GREAT. Just like Prom should be!

I agree. Since they’ve made it “big”, they are becoming more and more out of touch. Brandon has always been this way, but Mindy has really changed. That, or she’s always been this way and can’t control her “relatability” any more. Money has really gotten to her head.

I grew up in the Mormon faith (I left the church on my own when I was 30). It is indeed true that some women go to college just to meet a man and get married young. Others do not and do have careers. I became a school teacher and was one for 11 years. My oldest and youngest brothers remained in the Mormon faith (my middle brother left) and though they had/have three and five children their wives worked/work and have careers of their own. My oldest brother sadly passed away suddenly last August at the age of 50. Thank goodness his wife had a career of her own because only one of his three children were grown and she was in college. There is a Mormon family called the LeBarons who became famous about a year ago for their singing talents. They’re a large family. The mother of that family is a teacher as is the father and has been for about 35 years.

To begin with, Mindy constantly plays the dumb helpless girl role, like stop pretending to be stupider than you are? You have a young daughter you should be modelling for. Also, AP microeconomics isn't that comprehensive. It's literally high school level work?? Finally, stop emphasizing how SMART Madi is. She works hard. Emphasize that she WORKS HARD.

She never praises Hazy for anything but looks-related things. She's so cute, adorable, darling, etc; but never kind, smart, helpful, or anything like that.

I can't find a forum about Our Life in Holland but did anyone watch the new vlog ? Normally I like this family but the little girls dental work has me alllllll judgy.
