Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
Re: Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
Alex said in her stories that one of the next blogs was them telling their family some special news. I'm betting its the baby's name, so we might not have to wait the full 2 weeks until Alex is actually in active labor + editing time to find out!
It would look so bad if they give the baby a family name for first or middle name. Because it would show they were 'saving' the chance to honor one of their parents etc for a bio kid.

I would have thought they would name the baby after Alex's sister that passed away. That would be more meaningful...
There is no way she makes it through this without an epidural or even maybe a c-section.

They didn't use family names at all for their adopted daughters? I know that's how some people do it, but that's so odd to me. My daughter's middle name is a family name, and everyone in my family has a family name for a middle name. I agree it's going to be so obvious if they reserved a family name for the biological child. I can't believe how little attention has been paid to their two young children during this "labor" fiasco.namalot wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 6:23 am Alex said in her stories that one of the next blogs was them telling their family some special news. Isn't Callie's middle name (Jo) named after her grandmother or something?
And Kinsley's middle name is Grace so that one is taken. But I wouldn't put it past them to choose another virtue name as the middle name for their miracle baby.
Maybe we'll see the 3rd 2-syllablue, hard "c" at the start and "ee" sound at the end. Charli, Kasie, Chloe, Kadee, Kaymee etc...
I still think they'll pick a name with meaning to them though. Something that means miracle, god's gift, beautiful unicorn bio-baby etc...

Actually, I think Chloe would be nice, it goes with the other girls names. I try to visualise how it would look written on a greetings card, if it matches.IVFwarrior wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 7:27 amHashtagBlessed wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 7:22 amThey didn't use family names at all for their adopted daughters? Kinsley, Callie and Chloe sounds good.

Eesh, that is not a flattering picture on Phil's insta.

I don't feel bad for them because they got more warning than most couples would. Imagine not having any heart issues in your family and then BAM your unborn child has a diagnosis.Scandiqueen wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 10:00 pmThis is so incredibly true, but they wouldn't give up until they had their special unicorn bio baby. They fact they they couldn't do it naturally (and struggled doing it with IVF too) says a lot - if I was in their shoes I'd stick to the adopted kids. I wonder if they will have more bio babies after this one?Justpeachyy wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 6:39 pm If they knew phil had heart issues and genetic abnormalities as a couple, why the fuck would they transfer biological children. 62 hours of labour! This is going to be the longest labour ever at this point. If you're blow drying your hair and putting make up on you're not in labour. That's why I look like shit the photos after my kids births
I always thought you started counting the hours after being admitted to the hospital and confirmed that you're actually in labor. 62 hours and no hospital stay? At this point in her mind she would claim she was in labor for a week. Sounds like shes nearing the end and is feeling basic discomfort.

I absolutely agree! My labour with my second was on off all Saturday but I didn't go to the hospital to be admitted until Sunday at 4am and she was born at 8am. I don't say my labour was 24 hours longJustpeachyy wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 9:51 amI always thought you started counting the hours after being admitted to the hospital and confirmed that you're actually in labor. 62 hours and no hospital stay? This is what Alex has lived for her entire life. This attention because she is in “labor.” She is going to milk this for as many days as possible. She would think she’s been “robbed” of a normal labor experience if it went quickly. She loves this.

I can’t with these two...especially Alex.
She CRIED because she couldn’t believe the hospital was sending her home when she was in such excruciating pain. I’m assuming she’s wanting a natural birth, but she hasn’t felt anything yet!

I havent checked any of their social media yet today has she had baby girl yet ?? Anyone know the latest lol I'm so curious !
Re: Phil and Alex: clickbait, vlog’s late, & kids they don’t appreciate | Part 8
It’s been 12 hours since last social media update. Do we think she’s finally in active labour? Epidural done? Baby here? Baby in NICU? Much as they annoy me, I hope the baby is OK. It’s unusual that they haven’t updated.

Yes I think baby is here and I pray things go well. On another note how many days has she been in labor? I really want to puke . She is suppose to be a nurse but she’s an idiot. I had my first baby at 21. I was 2+3 days overdue. I went for a stress test and baby was in distress. The doctor started pitocin and broke my water. The pains were terrible but no meds were given because of his heart rate. I didn’t get to deliver vaginally because his shoulders were bigger than his head. After 10 hours of labor they gave me gas, threw out the husband and saved my 9 lb. sons life. I didn’t know wtf was going on. I was 21 and dumb so what’s her excuse?

Can I play devils advocate a second?
Maybe someone can help me. Alex had contractions at 3 cm, labor was halted when she took morphine and vistral. Last night she went on IG saying the contractions picked back up and are lasting 2 minutes. But contractions are 20 mins apart. (I didn’t think that would be possible, but what do I know)
At what point would this be a danger that the labor won’t progress?
It seems odd to me that the contractions are 20 mins apart but lasting 2 mins. Something doesn’t sound right.

Her latest instastory says she's 5 days into labour and going to the hospital for "some help"
Sorry, no.. you've not been in labour 5 days. 13 hours ago Phil said she's been in labour 3 days, funny how they add extra days onto everything to make sure it's the longest most dramatic thing that EVER happened EVER.
I don't envy her the contractions, I know they're grim but but 5 days is not right.

Alex, you’re sick of being uncomfortable and decided to take your midwife up on her offer of an induction. Stop lying and calling it “5 days of labor” who cares if you’re getting induced.

If they're going to lie they should at least be consistent. Phil says 3 days, Alex says 5 days.Here_2_talk wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 12:33 pm They are heading to the hospital for help, 5 days into labour. who taught this woman to count?!

5 days
I predict ARM and pitocin followed by an epidural and most probably leading to a c section. I genuinely can’t see this woman managing an unmedicated vaginal birth after the last few hours of prodromal labour leading to 4 hospital visits, having to “breathe through” what are effectively Braxton Hicks, morphine, an inability to count, some weird porny Jesus loves you behaviour and complete abandonment of her existing children.

Alex is not even full term yet. There’s no danger here. This is VERY normal. It’s just her body prepping and getting ready for real labour to begin.Dani_465 wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 12:16 pm Can I play devils advocate a second?
