Yikes, Ruby. Not a good look to shoehorn the backlash and criticism from your viewers into a post about the riots and George Floyd. Also, does anyone notice that Shari's post about the riots echoes the language used by Ruby? Even some comments pointed it out. Wouldn't surprise me if Powerful Mom™ had a hand in writing that post.

I'm reminded of a Jordan Peterson quote, to heavily paraphrase, that if numerous people are criticizing you for the same thing, it probably means you need to take a good look at yourself, rather than assume the problem lies with those doing the criticizing.

I didn't think I could be even more disgusted with Ruby. First off the image she posted had nothing to do with George Floyd or racial issues. She just posted it so people would be distracted by cute and happy kids. Second she only posted it after people were calling her out for not posting something. Lastly, the fact that she turned it on her self and said that the abuse she is being accused of is nothing compared to racial abuse. Oh but Ruby those are two equally evil but separate issues. She is showing her ignorance also in the fact that she has shut her ears to the news and what is going on in the world. She has the luxury of living in her nice home in a white suburban neighborhood never having to worry about what is going on in the world, because let's face it Coronavirus didn't even phase them. But there are people out there who live day to day by what is going on in the world. They cannot afford to turn off the news for 15 years.

Disgusting that Shari's post said that these huge societal problems need to be fixed by changes in the home such as getting rid of "entitlement." The ultra-conservative, compassionless, arrogant opinions of her father most of all and also her mother are clearly being passed down, and while yes I blame the parents, there will soon come a day where she will also need to take ownership of her beliefs and words. For now she is a kid and it is more acceptable to blame her upbringing, but she is quickly becoming old enough to where she can make her own decisions about what to believe and she is choosing to follow her ignorant, bigoted parents.
I hope this family's experience on their internet platforms NEVER returns to normal for them, I am in so much shock and horror over all of this.

Shari's Instagram post shows just how messed up the politics are in that house. More concerned about looting than about the murder of an unarmed man by police (something that happens far too often). Trevor Noah put it well - you are angry that you feel they broke society's contract, but the police have broken that contract already.
I am glad to see many pointing this out, but it won't change. Ruby and Kevin won't change their views. They will continue to feel they are right about everything and dismiss anyone else as haters.

Oh my, I haven’t watched them or posted here in a while but now I’m seeing all of these happening. That ig user posted a video in which she says Eve didn’t pack a lunch and she was like “I hope nobody gives her any food” I know kids must be held accountable but this is ridiculous!

Also, swinging around racism to her benefit somehow. Wtf. The world being so f* up by racism doesn’t make child abuse okay.

Anyone on here follow Brock and Boston? They posted a vlog today of their sixteenth birthday party and Chad was there, was able to get a few glimpses of him. Maybe I'm just reading into things, but I felt really bad for Chad, they all seemed to ignore him for the most part, never putting the camera directly on him or talking to him directly. Anytime I saw him he seemed really subdued, sitting or standing a little bit apart from everyone else. At one point they were all in the pool together, but he was just sitting on the ledge by himself. Brock, Boston, and Kesley all seemed to especially ignore him and I'm guessing it was awkward for him since everyone is insinuating that Kesley is dating Brock now. Just makes me so angry that he had a really good friendship with Kesley, and Ruby ruined it for them by fiercely 'shipping' them for views and trying to force them to be a couple until it got to be too much for them. I also wonder if maybe he's possibly been ostracized by all his Mormon and Youtube friends since he's been sent to Anasazi. Not only was he separated from them for months and months, but now he doesn't have a phone or social media to keep in touch with them at all and they've all seen videos of Ruby throwing him under the bus and saying he did something terrible and had to be sent away. That would explain what he meant about not feeling safe in his friend groups. He doesn't fit in with his Mormon/Youtube friends anymore because Ruby ruined those relationships by exploiting them on Youtube, sending him away, and cutting him off from them by taking his electronics, but he also can't hangout with boys at his public school and do normal teenage boy things or he'll get sent away again. Poor kid, it just made me sad to see him so subdued at a birthday party and not being his usual loud, funny self. Ruby has made it literally impossible for him to maintain friendships or to feel like he fits in.

People are also commenting on Dwight's IG account about Chad and Ruby. That clip of her kissing Russell's cheek and then biting his ear while calling him cute is just weird (though I'm sure she didn't mean for it to be).

And I'd forgotten about that old incident where Eve is riding a bike with her head down, looking at the ground in front of her, and then rams right into the side of Abby, who is on her own bike. Ruby admonishes Abby for not looking where she's going, because she's the older one. Then she tells her to apologize to Eve, even though it was Eve who wasn't looking where she was going. Yeesh...

i just found them a few years ago and while i didn't like everything that ruby was doing to her children i could at least tolerate it. now it seems like she has gotten way more strict. what parents takes away all technology for the summer because of ipad misuse. they also should not be permanently losing their phone because of using it too much and because of behavior issues. another thing i don't like is when eve forget her lunch her parents wouldn't bring her one. being hungry and not getting a lunch is not learning a lesson it is punishment. it also wasn't fair for chad to lose his room for 7 months because of joking around with russell. it seems like the parents never let them do anything except for "shari" who gets away with just about anything and never gets in trouble for anything. i don't think the kids should have to pay to get their homework back from a trash bag. ruby just wants everything to go her way and gets frustrated when that doesn't happen. i think got stricter after chad came back from that anastaci camp. they are afraid to do anything as they think they will get in trouble for doing simple things. i also didn't like how ruby make a big deal about bad grades and she get frustrated when her children don't want to go to the private school especially chat. i don't think any of the kids wanted to go to the private school but ruby forced them to go there. ruby tries to acts clueless when chad tries to tell them she was going to take away the tv for the summer. of course she planned on doing it all along but she tried to spin it a positive manor she she would look like the bad guy. kevin does not like how ruby is treating the kids but he doesn't want to ruin her relationship with her so he keeps his mouth shut. i haven't seen anything this strict before with any family and i hope she gets in trouble for doing what she has done to her kids. someone needs to call cps on her. i can only image what kind of things she does to the children off camera.

I rarely check in on this family because I’m more than convinced that Ruby is deranged. But I’m glad to see she’s finally getting exposed for all the crap she puts her kids through. I hope the exposing keeps going. She can’t silence accounts she has no control over. But could she seriously look anymore guilty when she limits her Instagram comments? If she was truly in the right she would leave the comments up and defend herself.

I was looking at the tagged post of them on Instagram and someone made it a video of chad saying how he lost his room for pointing a BB gun at Russell and than it changed to the vlog of Russell pointing a nerf gun at Ruby.. and than another one was where she threw all the kids stuff away that they left in the because they were unreasonable especially Eve snowman. Than it cut to Ruby talking about how she forgot to print off Eve class work for the bingo game
