Yikes, I know that everyone has different naming preferences. But the names they chose for their kids. They sound like they’re taking the “surnames as first names” trend too far and are going to be super dated by the time they are adults. Also way too matchy-matchy with the “c” sound for all three. They just have that faux influencer Instagram mommy country bumpkin sound to them. And throwing in Drew as the middle name is like a double whammy as far as trends go, because it's fulfilling the male/unisex names for girls trend as well. I don't dislike Drew by itself. My daughter has a unisex name. But the combination on Kinsley Grace, Callie Jo, and Cassidy Drew just look like someone threw every tacky naming trend of the last 5 years up against a wall.

We just know that the three of them will be spoken as Cassidy, Kinsley and Callie.

Hello to everyone. Long time lurker, but can't bite my tongue anymore. Let me first say that I'm happy to hear that baby is doing well. But, I'm still disgusted by P&As lack of interest in their first 2 girls, especially during this pregnancy. Her comment on IG says it all and almost lost my dinner: "I still can't believe she is here and she is our daughter. Just wow. What a miracle." Her choice of wording is just effing GROSS and speaks volumes! Alex, you have 2 "miracles" that were handed to you on a silver platter through adoption. 2 beautiful girls that deserve so much better! Kinsley and Callie never seem to get the love and attention that you gave to your unborn bio baby for 9 months. Your wording that "she's here and is OUR daughter" is horrible. K & C will soon be old enough to read and watch everything you've said and done, and that will be a punch in the heart to them. Get your head out of your ass and give these girls the love and attention they need and deserve! Also, has anyone else noticed how Callie always got more attention than Kinsley? (At least before baby Jesus was in her blessed womb). I've seen that BS for awhile, and it's F'ng wrong! Alex definitely shows favoritism towards Callie, and isn't afraid to show it. Probably because she's got blonde hair and blue eyes like Alex. She's a Class A narcissist who's completely mental. Again, I'm happy that the baby seems to be doing well. As far as the parents, I couldn't care less..

They've also repressed Kinsley's culture and heritage. She has no idea about her biological roots.

And they'll raise them in a Christian anti-technology homeschool household that they will claim is better for their development, but really the motive will be so they can't google themselves and see what their parents have done.

Like most exploited YT kids, they don't fully understand what it means to be talking into the camera. They know they are being filmed, but there is no way they understand they are speaking to hundreds of thousands of people.

Agreed. They haven't taught Kinsley about it or even mentioned her heritage. I don't know if this is related or not, but Alex has mentioned Kinsley's curly hair several times, as if it's an annoyance to her. She should be learning how to care for curly hair while teaching Kinsley to as well. She puts zero effort into her. She has beautiful curls, but Alex can't seem to be bothered. Not everyone has 30 strands of straight hair like you, Alex!

The thought of these two cultists homeschooling their 3 girls is horrifying! They want to keep them sealed tight, in a perfect little Christian bubble, completely locked away from society. No social interaction with their peers, actual teachers, playtime, etc. Unless it's to exploit them for the world (and potential pedos) to see, and for them to profit from of course. And you're exactly right, this is all being done without their consent. Have they ever once considered that maybe K&C would like to keep their personal story, personal? Or would like to share their stories themselves one day? Who am I kidding? This is Alex's world, her way or the highway, and we're all just living in it. Phil needs to grow a pair and stop enabling her effed up behavior. I feel bad for the hospital staff and other NICU parents dealing with her, because you KNOW she's in there acting like HER DAUGHTER is the only baby that matters. She won't even wear a mask out of respect for others. Just Gross...

*Pumping* colostrum (ie with a pump) is pointless and just wastes it. Hand expressing and collecting it in syringes is the norm until the milk comes in properly, when pumping will work. Hand expressing encourages milk to come in as well as a baby latching will. A pump is good later on, but actually less effective than hand expressing in the first day or 2. The milk bank I donate to actually prefers us to hand express, but I just don’t have the time for that.

The thing that starts the process of milk coming in a couple of days later is the placenta being removed from the uterus. This sets off a chain of hormonal responses.

We’ve already been told not to tell personal stories because some people find it boring, but I am quite experienced with all things breastfeeding and NICU!

I find it pretty appalling how Phil has described Cassidy’s ‘broken heart’ in his latest Instagram post (‘Jesus is using your broken heart to be the heart of courage for others’). Her heart isn’t ‘broken’ - she has issues which will hopefully be resolved with surgery. I find it almost disablist in tone and all the more bizarre as they are conditions inherited from him!

Exactly! And if you actually look at the pic, then you can see she got a decent amount of colostrum.

If I had to hand express colostrum when my daughter was hospitalised as a preemie, I would have hated it! Pumps work. That’s why the hospital tells you to use them.

There is no point picking fight between board members when they disagree with your comments. If someone says something in support of P&A, it doesn't mean that they agree with everything they do. It might be one point that they disagree with you, but it doesn't automatically mean that they are stans and belong to their fan club.

Also, this is gossip forum. Not a hate forum. I think there is room for any comments, positive, negative, and neutral. No need to curse others here.

I think it’s verrrry interesting that she got the most classic/least childish name. They’ve clearly been saving this name for Bio Baby.

I love traditional names, so I’ve always hated the name Kinsley and I think Callie is a hard name on an adult because it seems kinda young and almost like a kid’s nickname.

But Cassidy has nickname options and is almost a more “serious”/adult name.

Definitely don’t like the nickname “Drew” though. My best friend’s middle name is Drew and she hates it. Boys names on girls is just kinda weird to me. Same reason I don’t like “Jo” for Callie’s.

Omg. I’m glad I’m not the only one who hates their names.

They seem to have kind of gotten a pass since they didn’t do anything crazy like name them Onion. But Kinsley? For an adult? No way…It’s terrible.
And Callie Jo? That sounds like some country bumpkin name… Sammy Jo, Martha Jo, Bobby Joe, Billy Joe. (And I get to say this bc I live in the most backwoods place.)

Although I would never use the name Cassidy Drew for my own child, it does seem a ton better than Kinsley or Callie’s name… And like you, I found it interesting that they liked this name since before they had the girls but only decided to use it on a bio baby?
