Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
Someone saved the Chick Fil-a video somewhere. That's the one where they took the whole family to Chick Fil-a to "support" the owner. She was practically giddy. And she deleted it as soon as she got any pushback.
That was even worse to me than if she had said "this is how I believe". She didn't delete it because she learned anything. She deleted it because she was afraid to lose views/money. She doesn't even have the courage of her convictions.

When YouTube started cracking down on family vloggers, all the Griffith women deleted old videos they thought would get them in trouble. I'm sure this was one of them. Bonnie said she stayed up many nights deleting vlogs that some would find offensive. It's not like they cared about their kids but they cared about the money they would lose if their channel got demonetized.Tiger27 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 6:27 am I did a deep dive to try and find the femur fracture video. It appears to have been deleted. It was first mentioned on this site on August 3rd, 2017 and I went back to try and find correlating videos and while there was content posted on that date, it didn’t match. From old posts here, it sounds like she talked about it during a lake day vlog and that is nowhere to be found in that time frame. How convenient.
Next time I have some free time I’ll attempt to find some other damning videos we’ve seen over the years. It’s about time they be exposed. Don’t want to say which yet because while they are probably already scrubbed from the channel, I don’t want to give Ruby a head start when she reads here.

Even after all the terrific posts on here about the several different examples of ways Ruby has neglected and emotionally abused her kids over the years, Instagram is still full of idiots who think that they are creating "change" because of videos they make that put the faces of the 8 passengers kids and Ruby on dancing individuals and other stupid edits like that. Seriously though, what are these people on instagram doing other than making fun of Ruby?? In the long run, this won't be doing anything to take down her ads for her YouTube channel. They already have been given so much ammo, and they are using none of it.
Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
I'm glad all these gossip channels are picking up on the abuse and weirdness in that house. I hope something comes of it and people wake up and stop giving Ruby views.

Ruby I'm sure is totally shocked that things haven't settled down yet! Yesterday's vlog had almost as many thumbs down as thumbs up! Plus looks like people have went back to older vlogs and clicked the thumbs down! Looks like they are staying silent on IG-probably their manager is telling them to lay low to things settled down. I don't this is going to blow over that soon-it may never settle down.
Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
I like this woman's commentary on the videos better than the more drama-like channels. It's just her watching and reacting to the videos with comments vs. a bunch of different clips. It's kinda like ytmd threads, but in a video, maybe that's why I liked it lol.

Exactly. Imagine being two years old and all of a sudden mommy is no longer really present in your life. Mommy is sick and laying in bed, mommy is feeling sad. Then all of a sudden mommy is busy with a new baby and then ANOTHER new baby. Poor kid probably felt completely abandoned. I doubt that Kevin was very involved as he was busy with school, and I think they weren't living in Utah back then so no family support / grandparents to fill in the gaps. It really helps to understand why Shari is so uptight when you realize that she probably had to look after Chad when she was only 5 or 6 years old herself.jellybean616 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 3:53 amGood point. I agree that all the siblings seem to be affected by the lack of attention they received when younger, and Chad seems to have been affected most of all. He seems to resent the youngest children the most, whereas he gets along very well with Shari and Abby. I was watching this video (see below) from when Chad was 7 and Julie was 3- Ruby was interviewing Chad about his xmas presents and Julie walked into the room (off camera). Chad became very angry (probably as a sibling had once again taken his mother's attention away from him) and Ruby quickly stopped filming just as his outburst began. I think this vid was a probably a reflection of how he was as small child- he obviously had to deal with a lot of pent-up rage over the years, at how much more attention the youngest siblings get. In many families, the siblings that fight most are usually the ones who are closest in age so I always find it odd that in the Franke family, the most conflict is between Chad and Russell and they have a 7 year age gap.sparkle lemon wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 8:34 pm What I find strange is that she and Kevin both stated that they had been having problems with the kids for many years PRIOR to starting their Youtube channel. She also said that they had been following the advice of 'professionals' (whatever that means). Doesn't that clearly point to the fact that Ruby and Kevin's parenting skills were sub-par even back then - pre-Youtube?
I suspect that Chad has been a pretty difficult kid over the years, but how much of that is probably due to the lack of attention he received past the age of around 2? Ruby would been very unavailable to Chad because she was so caught up in trying to have more babies (and having several miscarriages?) and then along came Abby and Julie almost immediately after. Chad was basically dumped and left to raise himself - any wonder he's acted out for years to get some attention from his parents?
There's something very 'off' about Ruby to me and I wonder if her fixation on all of the crazy psychobabble is more about her own issues and trauma. There's something very odd about the way this woman with no education or skills has chosen to market and exploit her own children for money. Obviously she sailed on Ellie and Jared's coattails to get where she is, but at the end of the day the channel has grown (as have all her sibling's channels) on the fact that they have moderately photogenic children. Take away all of the children out of the channel and nobody would bother to watch them.

That's funny... all that coming from It's R Life, when they don't do anything to help their adopted son with his disabilites, and instead, they laugh at him and mock use his limited vocabulary (which isn't real words, it's his own language). Kendal, The mom... had a temper tantrum, when Disney World announced they wouldn't be opening until July 11th (I think). Their whole channel is a shit show.. And from a blog Kendal used to have, hours were spent, when the eldest girl was spanked by her father, to learn a lesson. So, I am pretty sure ALL family vloggers, or most, are giving family vloggers a bad rap, It's R Life included.

This is an out-of-the-blue and unrelated comment to any specific reply on here, but I think, especially with Chad, Ruby is trying to scare him straight and make sure he doesn't step out of line. And she realizes that the other kids don't play along with that little game and they stand behind their brother, because they're siblings in very particular ages, so obviously they're gonna band together against mom and dad. Chad just laughing at Ruby while they're talking about Chad not having a bedroom. I think Chad especially knows how pathetic these rules are that his mom is putting up, and I hope as soon as he's 18 he gets out of there and doesn't look back for at least a good while, so his mom and dad can think about why their own son won't talk to them (not that they care, there's good money to be made off of "why my son isn't talking to me").
Re: 8 Passengers: Spreading a Disease while Doing As I Please | Part #16
I have a conspiracy theory about this. What if one of the older children made that tiktok account? If Gypsy Rose could get her hands on technology, so can these kids. Also take into consideration what another user above said about Chad’s LED lights. I have never considered buying those types of lights for my room and now I have them because of tiktok.boychik0830 wrote:why did 8 passengers confused delete all of their videos and isn't posting any more? are they afraid of getting in trouble for this? we have to get the parents in trouble for this and we can't let them get away with what they are doing to their children.

Wow I never look at view numbers so I've never realized how low their views are every single day. Also their subscribers are still falling little by little! Get these morons off the internet.

I found this interesting knowing what we know now:
https://invidio.us/watch?v=QNsTIjjUnsI
I was watching another older vlog where Ruby was explaining how she manages to stay calm with 6 kids and Chad was in the background saying how she has help from her other kids. He said it two or three times before Ruby started to explain how she has her other kids help out. She said the older kids make sandwiches for the younger ones while she takes a shower and gets ready. Meanwhile, Chad is in the background making sandwiches for his siblings. Isn’t this Ruby’s responsibility?
Chad has been helping Ruby raise her children since he was young. He’s probably sick of acting like their second dad and just wants to be what he is, the older brother. There are so many vlogs with his thumbnail that have over a million views. She should be so thankful yet he is treated the worst.

The way he got angry like that....that seemed like a quick escalation (but I don't know what a sibling relationship should look like I'm an only child). Anyways, with the theory you guys are projecting, wouldn't that mean he would have some sort of resentment towards Abby too since she Is younger than him? (since sibling rivalries are usually close in age) But hypothetically, if Ruby was trying to get pregnant while Chad was 1-2, and assuming that she had a miscarriage between when Chad was a baby/toddler and Abby was born, wouldn't that rage/anger be/start with with Abby (plus the two year age gap thing) since she was the first born to eventually lead to 3 more babies after and not skip two kids?sparkle lemon wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 5:21 pmExactly. idk, like I said I'm an only child and from my experiences sibling relationships are hit or miss a lot of times so I'm genuinely curious.
